Easy to use and support are very helpful

The software is easy to set up and use with automatic filings for HMRC and pensions enrolment. Freepayroll makes it as easy as possible for small businesses to meet their employer obligations. I appreciate the fact that the chat widget is not just AI - it's staffed by real people at the other end who are determined to help you. It makes everything much less stressful for monthly submissions and year-end reports to the accountant.

Elis was a great help today. Ive always found all the advisors very prompt in answering, succinct in their reponses and never cut you off if youre delayed because of the phone ringing or other distractions. Ver knowledgable, know their product and HR and |HMRC in general. Definitly recommend. Cant believe its free!! Easy to use and if yore stuck help is at hand!!

Really great payroll system coupled with a great workplace pension scheme. Good AI support via chat with even better, and very swift, human support if you have any problems (kudos Cristine!) Fantastic value (er, it's free) and it does almost everything you could think of, there is even a version for multiple companies.

Migration from other payroll software is always going to be a chore, but it's made much easier here by the online support and by being able to transfer staff details (in our case from Brightpay). (And it's great to be away from Nest too.)

Under very active development so I am sure it will be even better in the future. As it is, full marks for customer service and the user experience.

For a free system, its great that its cloud based and doesn't need any downloading of software as I can use it from any device - that was my main requirement. The chat function is brill as its not the simplest set up (for novices like me!) but the customer advisor answered all my questions and talked me through which section to go to in which order.
If possible when a user selects that this is first time logging in and using system, promote the tutorials as I missed them due to working down the menu bar from top to bottom. But otherwise, really impressed!

Easy to setup, really intuitive. It took me about 30 mins to set up the company, an employee and send a full payment submission successfully to HMRC.
I had a slight query so I used the online message function. The Support team answered real-time and sorted it. Excellent so far.

Cristine was very hrelpful and resolved my tax code issues quickly and professionally. She is a credit to FreePayroll!

The staff are amazing: friendly, very patient, understanding, kind and extremely helpful, obviously having the ability to wonderfully assist those whose forte is not the use of modern technology! This was obvious, having spoken with Cristine, Eduardo and Lisa. I benefited greatly from their expertise and experience, and appreciated their thoughtfulness and unending patience.
