Wonderful customer service and such a…
Wonderful customer service and such a terrific futon. Thank you so much.
However, we were a wee bit fed up that the delivery company just left the futon at the front door, rather than ringing the doorbell!
This is nothing compared to the great nights' sleep we have and the support for our bodies.
I throughly recommend this company and the product.
Thank you.

Hi Stephanie
Thank you for your review and for your kind words regarding our products and company, it is appreciated.
We use a few different delivery companies depending on the size of the item and your location, I can see in your case it was DX Parcels. I can only apologise for the inconvenience with the delivery, on the whole DX are excellent at getting the item delivered on time but occasionally a driver may under pressure and this can lead to standards below what we would like our customers to experience so I am sorry this was the case in your situation.
I hope you continue to enjoy your new futon mattress.
Regards, Peter @ The Futon Shop
Very Good Product
Friendly efficient service, with clear communication about how the futon would be delivered. An excellent courier company delivered the goods.
The futon purchased is very comfortable and matches the description given on the website. It is clearly made of best quality materials and after using it about 6 weeks I have encountered no problems and experienced an improvement in sleep.

Personal delivery
Peter took the effort to personally delivery my futon and Japan bed to an unconventional island delivery location. Excellent product, service and communication. Recommended.

Hi Bryan
Thanks for your kind words, we will always try to accommodate unusual delivery locations when possible and who doesn't love an island in the Thames on a sunny day.
Thank you for choosing us for your purchase.

Great mattress and great communication
Great mattress and great communication. Thank you Peter.
Bought a compact double futon mattress for my existing frame, plus a great teal green cover. They are great quality and have really updated my old futon frame.
Thickness of mattress is great and feels comfortable although I have not had any guests try it out yet.
Material on both the mattress and the cover is thick and hard wearing. Particularly liked the cover zip which goes all the way round and is easy to put the mattress in.
Would definitely recommend.

Hi Jackie,
Thank you for the lovely review - we're very happy to hear that everyone is loving it!

Futon mattress itself is awesome.
Futon mattress itself is awesome.. great night sleeps.. unfortunately delivery was a different matter.. driver left item in the street instead of round the back as requested.. there was a sign on the front door (I don’t have access ) stating clearly to bring the item round the back.. so no notifications that it had been delivered and was sat in the street some hours until someone let me know it was there.. then I had to get a random stranger to help me take it round the back.. otherwise ok

Hi Zahid - thank you for 5 stars! We're thrilled you're loving the futon
Really helpful company
Really helpful company. Peter answered all my questions about the various different versions of the futon mattress over a number of emails! He was also happy to chat on the phone. There are a couple of delivery options, I chose delivery by the futon company as I don't trust couriers for something like this.
