Outstanding service and value
Outstanding service and value. I needed some quadrant trim to cover the expansion gap after flooring up to some full height aluminium framed glazing. GAP had exactly the right profile and colour. Price was good, but what really impressed me was the free delivery! Lots of companies end up charging more for the delivery than the product on small orders like this. GAP even revised the delivery date to suit my schedule, which was fantastically helpful.
I had both front and back door fitted…
I had both front and back door fitted by a joiner. I never received my guarantee. Rang Gap could not help me and also have problems with the doors. No drainage hole and door catching.l asked the joiner repeatedly for my guarantee with no luck. I refuse to have them back when they got into a row with the decorator they brought with.them using the F word.
I do think Gap could have been more helpful.

GAP in Nottingham
I went in to GAP in Nottingham to get a quote for a rock door front door. The man behind the counter who had very short hair and larger build said that if I wanted he could get a better one cheaper direct with him for cash and his son would fit it. As a business owner I was annoyed as I hate it when staff try to undercut the business they are working for so I left. Shame.

A Shining Example of Excellent Customer Service
In today’s world, we are often quick to complain when things go wrong, but rarely take the time to recognize outstanding service. That’s why I felt compelled to share my recent experience with Sara Kershaw at GAP.
I had an issue with one of my jobs where a motorway accident caused an unexpected delay in delivery. The situation was completely out of the control of both GAP and Sara, but from the moment the issue arose, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly.
Sara kept me constantly updated, regularly checking in not just with me but also with my customer to make sure everyone was informed and reassured. Her kindness, professionalism, and friendly nature were evident throughout, and it was a relief to know that someone so reliable and genuinely caring was handling the situation.
In a time where we often forget to highlight exceptional service, I want to give credit where it’s due. Sara truly exemplifies what great customer service should be, and I’m incredibly grateful for her support and dedication.
Thank you, Sara, for making a challenging situation so much easier and for being an absolute star!
Never work for this company
Never work for this company, they have a racist manager who has a big forehead named Vaida, she has a big head but unfortunately no active brain inside, she is a racist. Has no team leader experience, got promoted by a brainless Simon Taylor who likes to act like a Rambo, also had no active brain but got thrown out the company a little later on, they treat warehouse staff like slaves , avoid working for them and buying windows and doors from them, this company is a shambles !!!!
Excellent products and service
I have been using GAP since 2012
I find the service very good.
Originally I ordered direct from Blackburn and could rely on deliveries 3 times a week.
I now deal with the Morcambe branch and the service is still as good.
The sales desk is well run and organised.
The staff know the products inside and out and I find it well stocked.
Prices are good and the quality of their products are top rate.
I would recommend Morcambe GAP to anyone who needs pvc products.

I have dealt with Caroline a few times now and every time she has helped with a friendly and courteous manner. I will always use GAP because of Caroline.
Never would I visit the Oldham branch…
Never would I visit the Oldham branch again I went in for Rubber . . It seemed that if the guy liked you depended on what you was charged I wouldn’t mind but it was poor quality rubber in the first place . . Someone recommended the Eurocell Oldham Branch which I eventually purchased my rubber from . . Very reasonable price for Firestone excellent quality and excellent service never going back to gap again
I contacted Gap to find out if they had Q-Lon seals
I contacted Gap to find out if they had any Q-Lon door seals for my bi fold door made by Origin.I found the whole experience flawless and they were able to find my seals and order them for me.The whole process was excellent and they were easy to communicate with and were always responsive through the whole process.I wish other companies would follow their example.

Placed an order , customer service was excellent from Toni from processing it. Had a slight problem with delivery but rectified in the end . One if the orders was wrong , my fault . But Jenny sorted the issue out very efficient and made everything go smoothly again ! Thanks again Toni & Jenny for fantastic customer service
Bought 8 new windows 7 turned up…
Bought 8 new windows 7 turned up damaged, back and forth with customers service. Given a touch up stick, damage was still visible, told to fit the windows and trim up. Customer doesn't want windows trimming happy days
A dangerous company if you are female
What I witnessed from the GAP delivery driver & his mate on Bearwood Road, Smethwick, West Midlands on the 8th May at 11:30am was disgusting. If these so called 'men' think its ok in 2024 to shout derogatory phrases & wolf whistle at female pedestrians then you are sadly mistaken. The young female in question looked visibly shaken by the behaviour of these GAP employees who swiftly drove away (on the wrong side of the road) when I went to confront them about this.
Cowards.
What makes this appalling behaviour even worse is that they decided to degrade this female in a company branded vehicle!! Its the brain dead behaviour of morons like this that will put other GAP drivers at risk.
Any man that has a mother, sister, auntie, grandmother cannot and should not tolerate nor accept this low level of behaviour towards female's in today's society.

** UPDATE ** Four months on GAP have now reached out to me as they think I may have left this review in error. The fact that it has taken you FOUR MONTHS to respond in itself is frankly staggering!
There has been no mistake. As detailed in the initial review of your organisation the two cowards you employ decided to degrade this female in a COMPANY BRANDED VEHICLE which made locating your business information easy and accuratley.
Maybe put a little more effort into dealing with your drivers behaviour GAP rather than implying that I have made a mistake with my review of your organisation.

Just come back from Gap Coventry I’ve been going there close on 10 years ! Just to say if you speak to Nigel he’s the manager are so helpful . The lad that serves and brings the goods out is so switched on . I work with a lot of supply companies but Gap Coventry are first class 👌🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Awful service and goods
Placed an order for guttering and accessories. Didn’t arrive on delivery date and no call or text to rearrange. Delivery arrived a day late and guttering was scuffed and marked and I had to use industrial strength cleaner to remove marks and the union bracket was missing the rubber seals. I pointed this straight out to the delivery chap who rang the Cardiff branch and I was assured they would drop off the missing parts later that day - that was on 22/3/24 and still waiting!! . Ended up going to a rival supplier and based on my experience wouldn’t recommend GAP or use again
**strangely I have been asked to verify my order some 5 months later to verify I am a genuine customer . Luckily I had the order number to hand otherwise the review would be removed ….hmmmmm.**
Ongoing slopey shoulder from Customer Services
Having major problems trying to get something resolved as I am only the actual person who paid for and owns the windows and doors - not the useless person who ordered / installed them.
Recent purchase
I have recently purchased facials, gutters and other plastic parts from GAP and had the please to deal with David, nothing was too much bother and David dealt with any questions or query’s with speed and courtesy. An absolute please to deal with Cheers.
Useless Depot Manager
Useless Depot Manager! DO NO USE THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A TIGHT SCHEDULE.
11.01.2024 I ordered some guttering for a church job to be done on a nice day when no mass would be held. I paid 50% deposit.
While the above was on order I fell ill which ment my other job overrun. When I got a call that my guttering was in, I said I would pinch it up a bit later. I was told the materials would be held for me.
06.02.2024 I went to Gap Plastics Whyteleaf to pick up the guttering after arranging with the church for me to be there, gates to be open etc. I was told by the depot manager that he gave some of my guttering to someone else because he didn't think I would come in today. To add insult to injury he said I could use what I had and more on order following day.
Firstly I only had this day as following day I was starting another job in London. And how on earth can you do part of guttering job and leave rest to elements in winter? Why not phone me and ask if I will be needing materials now. Also paid the outstanding balance.
28.02.2024. Third attempt. Took a day off especially to finally do the guttering. This time the manager in question wasn't in so explaint to a staff member what happened and he went to get my guttering. I could not believe what I was witnessing. The poor chap was all over the warehouse trying to scramble my guttering. You could think that after paying 100% for them and the mess caused by him it would all be put aside ready to go. I left there at 10:20. That's how long it took to find all the bits!!
This so called manager I wouldn't trust burger flipping. How on earth can you be so dumb and careless?! If I behaved this way with my customers I would be out of job within days.
I do miss Project Plastics, never had an issue and always a laugh.
Loss of a days wages, time and stress - just not worth it.
