I’m a novice camper and headed to Go Outdoors for a few extra essentials. I’m lucky as the store is a 10 minute drive away.
The staff are great and any questions I had were answered. Demos too were no problem.
The bonus of becoming a member are the great offers that are available which I took advantage of plus some BOGOF.

I have been mis sold a 6 man 2 bedroom tent, which I’ve been back to store twice to try and resolve.
The tent intact is a 1 bedroom tent, which is no good when you get to your camp site with your 13 year old son and have his friend with you.
The tent is still being sold in store as a two bedroom tent even after advising and it being checked by the store.
I was offered a different tent with a small discount, however was told I had to ring customer service for compensation…. When calling customer service there is no option for a complaint and all automated.
I then advised after all the hassle and having another trip booked that I would just take the other tent at a discount to then be told they don’t have any and I would need to write my number down and wait for call for it to come to store and for me to collect. So now I am on two trips to resolve the matter with no compensation and no tent.

Got what I wanted , straight away!

I visited the store yesterday looking for two fully waterproof jackets for my g'daugters. Georgia was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond helping me look and giving advice when asked which she thought a 13yr old would wear. She is definitely a credit to the store and should receive lots of praise

Had a go on the horse simulator at Naylors, Go Outdoors, Derby, both myself and my husband booked a slot and found it an interesting and useful session, especially the printout of the assessment on our riding positions.

A staff member called Ryan I think he could be a manger of some sort is so rude he was so rude to me and had no manners wouldn’t surprise me if he treats his fellow colleagues the same, absolutely disgusting behaviour. Who would have thought basic manners would be so hard.

Visited the store for first go on the Naylors , Horse Simulater, very good experience . A useful tool for riders to refresh their schooling riding skills and dressage skills. Highly recommended. Thankyou.

I love this shop i go on there 2 times a week for feed and bedding I spends hundreds of pounds every time I go in it’s nearly 3 pounds every visti the problem is no one ever answer the shop phone it always buzy witch is good but there never enough staff on to help u stock doesn’t always come in and when it does u not always told so I end up going somewhere else for it this seem to be happening on a weekly schedule but also how can u order when no one answering the phone I’ve got 17 horses I always need Somethink but your shelf’s are empty and then no staff to help u carnt even order feed on line maybe this is something u need to look into

I wanted some new walking boots. I had to walk around the store to find anyone who could assist. Once she gave the boxes to me she disappeared again. No advice, checking to see if the boots fit etc no customer service what so ever. I wanted to try another boot the Scarpa ranger on but again no one there to help. I left without purchasing any boots. Very disappointing service that day. Other customers also received zero service in the shoe/boot department.

Excellent friendly customer service from Millie. Price matched another shop that had the item cheaper and deducted a further 10% as per their policy. A very happy customer.

Items i.e. trousers were in stock and great value for money. I had two different pairs. Store at Derby is always clean and tidy and staff friendly, professional. Great store to visit. I could spend hours viewing items. Many thanks - Derby Store.

Good selection of walking boots and helpful staff.

I used Go Outdoors Derby on Easter Monday, I needed to buy a couple of comfy loungers to "glamp" in our property whilst doing jobs between tenants. Dom was super helpful, he was patient while I tried out many different chairs and even carried my purchase to the car.
