My partner had brought me a coat but wasn't was the wrong size, went back to the store and the staff swapped it no problems.

Looking for walking boots I was disappointed in the range of boots available in store compared to the web site.eg no Salomon botts available at all. I was recommended the store by a friend but had not realized this was an Express store (ie not much stock).The attendant (Liam) was very helpful but I only had a choice of 1 pair of shoes.

I can’t recommend Tracy and Luke highly enough. They helped me get properly kitted out with shoes and socks in preparation for walking the Camino later this year, and the level of service was outstanding from start to finish.

I went in feeling unsure and slightly overwhelmed, particularly because I have a dodgy knee and knew that footwear choices really mattered. Tracy took the time to understand exactly what I needed, explained the differences between options clearly, and focused on comfort, fit, and suitability rather than simply selling the most expensive item. Her knowledge and calm, reassuring approach made a huge difference.

Luke was equally excellent. He was friendly, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable. He encouraged me to take my time, try different combinations, and walk around properly to get a real feel for the shoes. There was no pressure at any point, just honest advice and genuine care.

Thanks to Tracy and Luke, I left feeling confident that I’ve made the right choices for a long-distance walk, which is exactly what you want when preparing for something like the Camino. This is exactly how good retail service should be.

Went in for a waterproof coat and some wellingtons. Liam went above and beyond to make sure I had the right one for me. I ended up going for a Berghaus coat and Dunlop winter wellingtons. Nothing was too much for him, very polite and friendly.
