Greenhouse People Reviews

Not only was the cold frame attractive and well made, it was easy to assemble although it took a fairly long time. We discovered that one of the pieces supplied was the incorrect one so I rang them and was delighted to have my call answered almost immediately and by a human which is so rare these days!! The lady was called Sue Cheeseman and she couldn’t have been more friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention efficient! She and Jon solved our problem and within hours, a replacement part had been sent with apologies for the mix up. Can’t recommend them highly enough. I wish all companies would model themselves on this example of customer care.

We called in at Bent’s Garden Centre to have a look at the Greenhouses on display, we were so impressed with them that we bought one of the display models at a very good reduced price.
David showed us around and explained everything to us, no hard sell at all, very friendly and we had a good laugh with him.
Rebecca did all the paperwork involved in the sale and she was absolutley charming as well, the whole experience was an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a greenhouse.

We had a wonderful experience at The Greenhouse People in Sunningdale. Jason showed us around the beautiful greenhouses and did a wonderful job answering all my questions. Jason was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and so very helpful. It was a really great visit and we ordered our greenhouse when we got home from him. We are very excited and it has been an impeccable service so far.

After scrolling through lots of greenhouses on line I was recommended Dobies of Shrewsbury where I found an astonishing array of greenhouses. Kate of Greenhouse People was quick to understand what I was looking for and in no time we came to an agreement and the date for delivery was sent immediately.

We visited Ponteland and met Nathan who was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and provided us with all the information we needed to make a decision on the best greenhouse for us. He gave us both practical and technical help. He was very patient and an excellent representative for Greenhouse People! An asset to the company. We will highly recommend him to anyone looking for a greenhouse. The quality of the greenhouse is also something to mention. After looking at many different makes we knew that these were very good quality and value for money.

The buying & installation experience was no less than excellent from beginning to completion. Pauline was very supportive & informative. Euan & Denham Installation provided a timely, user friendly & extremely professional service clearing the site & installing the greenhouse. We are delighted with the product, the process & the service. Well done.

We had a very helpful and knowledgeable lady at the Webbs of Wychbold Garden Centre who offered us great advice and we have just taken delivery of our new greenhouse. The delivery man was also very helpful and placed the glass and packages exactly where we asked.

We are delighted with our Alton Elmhurst greenhouse bought from Ditching. Jon Isabeau-Doo helped us every step of the way with the purchase and advising on who could erect it for us. Rhys Matthews plus his partner erected it. He did an excellent job. Jon arranged delivery dates to fit in with the building of the dwarf wall. He was so helpful.

Sue from the Greenhouse People helped me through the buying process. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The Greenhouse people provide a helpful level of support for both the purchase and installation. Thank you.

The range of products and display at The Greenhouse People site at Dobbie's Ponteland is impressive and the site manager, Nathan, provides excellent advice in choosing the perfect greenhouse. Both before and after the delivery, The Greenhouse People were helpful and communicative and we're delighted with our Alston Evolution octagonal greenhouse.

My wife and I recently purchased a log cabin from the Greenhouse People at their site in Ponteland (Dobbies Garden Centre) and it has now been installed in our back garden. The cabin itself is fantastic quality and the whole purchase/delivery/installation experience has run like clockwork. We purchased the cabin from Nathan who, from the onset, has provided exceptional support and customer service - nothing was too much trouble and he consistently went out of his way to ensure all our questions were comprehensively answered and that we were fully informed at all times. The installation team were fantastic too. If you are looking for honesty, quality and fantastic customer service then you wont go wrong here. Highly recommended!

We wanting to buy a greenhouse and found that Dobbies in Ponteland had several on show so we could see what we were buying. Having travelled from West Cumbria, Paul the manager was very knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know being rookies in the greenhouse field, from the accessories to the different grades of greenhouses. We were so pleased with the level of customer service Paul provided we returned the next day with our daughter to choose a greenhouse suitable for beginners like ourselves. We would highly recommended taking a visit when considering a greenhouse as we feel the service and professionalism from Paul would not be found elsewhere. We are now just waiting for ours to arrive next week ☺️.

These people supply sub standard greenhouse parts, recommend a bunch of cowboys to erect it and wash their hands of everything once you pay upfront.
Avoid like the plague.

Excellent service from Kate at Dobbie's Garden Centre in Shrewsbury. Answered all our questions and email followups with quotes, etc was very quick.

Paul made identifying what we wanted very easy and the whole process was very smooth?

Paul, manager was very helpful and directed me to making a great choice in greenhouse.
No pressure to purchase.
The only place locally where you can see a selection of greenhouses erected. You know what you are buying.
Really happy with the outcome love my new greenhouse and have already had success with tomatoes and cuttings.

Excellent advice given and service brilliant. No complaints. Great greenhouse for our garden.
