Greenhouse People Reviews

Sue at Staines site was extremely professional and knowledgeable.

From start to finish the service was exceptional! Starting with Jon who went above and beyond to help us to Mark who erected the greenhouse. He was friendly and very efficient. All in all I would recommend The Greenhouse House People.

We visited the Greenhouse People at the Notcutts Garden Centre in Staines. We were looking for an octagonal greenhouse to fit in the corner of our garden. They had a wide selection including a number of octagonals which is unusual. We met the lovely Sue who was very knowledgeable on the subject. She listened to our requirements and showed us those that met our brief and explained the merits of each. Sue was very friendly and engaging, with no hard sell (to buy today) what a relief!
The option of placing a fully refundable deposit with collection within a calendar year was a great selling point. It is with this in mind that we ordered a Hercules 6 x 8 ft octagonal greenhouse.
Overall, we were very impressed with the Greenhouse People, Staines. This is due in no small part to Sue’s professionalism and would have no hesitation with recommending them to others.

I needed expedited delivery in time for my wife's birthday, they were very helpful delivering before the date I had suggested. On top of this, I was missing a tiny bag of screws, after a phonecall the missing item arrived with me the next day. Finally the greenhouse itself is fantastic, very well designed and manufactured.

The service from the team was exceptional from pre-order onwards. Always available to resolve any queries I had professionally and efficiently but also with friendly reassurance.
I highly recommend them.

Got my new glasshouse and am delighted. My son got one from the Greenhouse people and recommended them so I ordered mine from them. I talked to Paul on the phone and he explained the differences in the models and was very honest, no hard sales involved. I was given a delivery date at time of order and that's when it came, delivered by a lovely man. Couldn't recommend this company enough. Thank you for all your help.

Outstanding from the begining. Fast order turnaround and great communication.
When I had an issue, which turned out to be me entirely misunderstanding something, the staff answered my call responsively, and called me back immediately when they couldn't answer the phone.
The even sent parts free of that it turns out I didn't need due to my misunderstanding. It was quickly resolved with a face-time demonstration. Chapeau! High recommended company.

I called the 0800 number today (a Sunday) and was put through to a lovely lady in Staines. Sue Cheeseman gave me the advice I needed on accessories for our lovely Robinsons greenhouse, and managed to offer a bit of a reduction in price as return customers. Very happy customer. Sue was a delight to deal with: knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We have had excellent customer support in all our dealings with this company.

The Greenhouse People are a professional company to deal with
The staff are helpful & knowledgeable & have time to answer any questions
I can highly recommend them

We have been extremely impressed with the care, service and attention received from Paul at the Ponteland site. We were not able to visit a site to view the greenhouses but once we found the one we liked online, Paul sent us all the options, information, images and specifications needed for us to make our choice. We are now excited to receive our delivery this week! Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you

Paul was helpful from start to finish. Very pleasant to talk to and thorough knowledge of his business.

Thank you so much.

What a great company. We had been looking for a shed for some time. Couldnt find either the right style, size or something that would fit in our budget.

Just popped into Dobbies at Ponteland for a quick look around to avoid the traffic and bought a shed.

First meet Paul when we walked around the sheds and garden houses and had shed envy thinking that everything was out of our price range. Paul never even mentioned the sheds just made big fuss of our little one eye dog Nancy.

We had a walk over to the wooden sheds and looked twice. We have hit the jackpot, there was the shed that we wanted pent roof, perfect size, solid construction and we could afford it.

Saw Paul again and bought it, cant wait for the delivery date, to get it installed and transform our garden.

Can highly recommend, no pushy sales talk, great quality products and affordable prices.

I had great advice from The greenhouse people when choosing my new greenhouse. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful answering my questions honestly.

We have purchased both a greenhouse and racking from Paul at Ponteland, Paul was very helpful on both occasions, I highly recommend The Greenhouse People in Ponteland, in particular Paul.

The customer service is exceptional. Very pleased with the dutch barn shed.

Jason from The Greenhouse People Staines was wonderful. He patiently explained the vagaries of various greenhouses and we landed on a Simplicity Orangery. When it came to delivery, there were some missing parts, but they were immediately corrected by the Head Office. I would highly recommend Jason and The Greenhouse People in Staines.

Beautiful Alton Cambridge Greenhouse purchased. A couple of pieces were not right but were speedily couriered through. Looks great. Thank you!

All our dealings with the Greenhouse People have been great. Nothing has been too much trouble. They gave us guidance about choosing the installer and put back our order by a month when the base wasn't ready without any problem. The greenhouse is of a superb standard and even the installer loved it. Looking forward to many years of use and enjoyment.

Ordered a Victorian Rugby Greenhouse. Set aside this bank holiday weekend to put it up, having had a dwarf wall build. Quickly realised that there were parts missing, a total of 18, so not just the odd one. There were 5 extra parts that must be for a different size of greenhouse. Took hours and hours to figure all this out as the parts are not labelled so you have to identify them from the profile and by measuring the length. Also 17 of the parts we had received had patchy powder coating with bare metal showing. Staff very pleasant and apologetic over the phone but as they've discontinued this colour, is going to take several weeks to get the parts that we need. Very disappointing for such an expensive greenhouse.

We bought a Hercules Trafalgar from the Greenhouse People in Ditchling. I can honestly say it was one of the most pleasurable buying experiences I have ever had. This was down to Jon. Informative, knowledgeable, helpful and in no way "a pushy salesman". I was uncertain as to which greenhouse to go for and with Jon's help, my focus was narrowed to the one we eventually purchased. The delivery guy, all the way from Stoke I believe, was also brilliant and placed the parts where I wanted them. I had thought of putting it together myself and I'm sure many people do. However, it takes me several hours to put up a shelf so I opted for one of their top fitters, Mark, who also laid the base on one day and a couple of weeks later came back to install the Greenhouse in less than a day. (I would have taken a week). A nice guy. Very diligent, skilled and hardworking.
Altogether, I would recommend Jon and the Ditchling branch of The Greenhouse People and would not hesitate to use them again.
