Alison Young, Funeral Director, Green Willows, provided an excellent service overall. Her support and advice right from the beginning helped to make a difficult time manageable. Alison showed enormous empathy, using her expertise to ensure each part of the process, including arrangements with others, such as the church went seamlessly. The fact that the service and the burial afterwards went smoothly was a testament to Alison’s great expertise. We will forever be grateful to Alison and her team for their support during this sad and difficult time.

We used the Dinas Powys branch and Ben was our funeral director from start to finish for our Mum's funeral.
I can honestly say he went above and beyond, even coning to the house to see if he could help on the day Mum died as he noticed my brother trying to access the defibrillator from the pub opposite.
He kept us informed at every stage and was always kind and considerate of all the family's needs.
On the day of the funeral everyone involved was so professional and respectful and they made sure the day went very smoothly.
I highly recommend that you use this company if you can and you will be assured of a top class service with a personal touch.

Tom Webster and his team provided an exceptional service - sensitive and empathic but also highly practical, taking care of every aspect of the funeral in a way that removed so much of the inevitable stress involved.

We have used Green Willow Funerals on three occasions now. Alison and Tom were very kind and caring and the Humanist Susan Lawford gave a wonderful, caring and positive funeral. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We have sadly had to use the services of Green Willow twice within a small number of months for both our precious parents. However, once again, Ben Hartery, Andy and the team in Dinas Powys were faultless. From initial contact with Ben in the middle of the night and everything leading up to and including the funeral and crematorium services, Ben and his team were highly professional and thorough, yet very compassionate and caring. Ben in particular made sure that everything was organised perfectly and that all the formalities ran without a hitch. We were confident to leave all the arrangements to him and knew he and his team wouldn’t let us down. We found Greenwillow very professional and caring throughout. We met Alison and discussed our requirements with her. We knew we wanted a very personal humanist service and that is exactly what we had. Good communication throughout and everything explained. All staff were smart and professional at the service. We also used the humanist recommended by Greenwillow and she was excellent too.

I couldn't recommend Green Willow enough. From my first enquiry with Angela, I felt so supported and heard. Planning a funeral through heartbreak feels impossible but Angela was with me, every step of the way. I was able to plan the day exactly how my husband would have wanted, nothing was too much trouble and I had so many options to make the day perfect for our family. I am beyond thankful I chose Green Willow, and I would love to give a special thanks to Angela for being so wonderful to myself and my children, I couldn't have done it without you.
