I scheduled a booking with Hello Laundry on Saturday the 8th of November, 2025 at 9am. I had found them via a Google search, and I confirmed on their website that they serviced my post code.

Pickup was set for between 1 PM and 5 PM, with everything to be washed and delivered back within 24 hours. I needed this washing for the next evening, as I was packing for a trip out of town.

They waited until 5:05 PM to let me know that they didn't have any drivers, and according to their representative, they don't service my post code after all. Needless to say that was problematic, as it was far too late for me to find any alternative service to get my laundry cleaned in time. Why they couldn't tell me this when I booked at 9 AM, I couldn't imagine.

There are better services out there. Give your money to a company that cares.

Do NOT use this company! I’m extremely disappointed with this company. I paid £85 for what was supposed to be a premium laundry service, yet my experience has been anything but.

When my laundry was returned, everything was completely damp - I had to hang 27kg worth of washing all over my home to dry it myself. I was charged for 30kg of washing, when I challenged this, I was told to weigh on delivery - which I did (it came to 27kg) however as the laundry was delivered at 10:30pm, I didn’t check inside the bags. The next morning I discovered the washing to be wet, which of course added to the extra weight!!! The collection was 10 hours late, and delivery didn’t take place until after 11pm, which I initially overlooked. However, it’s now clear that the service was not completed properly.

To make matters worse, they damaged both buckles on my dungarees, and despite multiple emails and complaints, no one has responded. The lack of communication and accountability is appalling.

I’m heavily pregnant and had clearly explained how important it was to have this done correctly during an already stressful house move. Instead, I was overcharged for a service that caused more hassle than help.

I requested a partial refund since the drying process - a core part of what I paid for - was not carried out, but I’ve been completely ignored.

Avoid this company at all costs. They do not deliver what they promise, and their customer service is non-existent.

I will be pursuing this issue to get the refund I’m entitled too.

Good service and quick collection and delivery times

This was my first experience with Hello Laundry, and unfortunately I regret ever seeing their name. Usually it takes me 2-3 days to wash, dry and iron my laundry. This was an occasion that I needed to wash my family bedding faster, and there were several dry cleaning items ready to clean, so I thought, why not outsource it, by the claims on their website Hello Laundry seems like a fast and professional service. I had sorted and labelled my items in 3 bags - whites for wash and iron in one bag, bulky duvets in another bag, and coats and curtains for dry cleaning in the third bag. Hello Laundry came to collect the bags with 3 hours delay. They took the bags without transferring into laundry bags and without leaving me any confirmation that they have collected anything from me. 24 hours later I received a strange email that Hello Laundry cannot wash my duvets or coats, but individual cleaning would cost £50 per item. It felt wrong, as their website definitely offers dry cleaning and bulky items cleaning, at different prices, not £50 per item. The email requested that I either approve the prices for these items, or cancel them. I figured that I can dry clean the coats and curtains at my regular dry cleaners, so I asked them not to bother. Two days later, they brought back all my items. They were mixed and matched, whites with darks, coats with duvets, etc., in the same non labelled bin bags which I provided. Not only the coats or curtains were not cleaned - NONE of the orders was done - no washing, ironing, nothing. I'm afraid I have become a victim of a scam company, and now I am checking my credit card account daily to see how they use my account information.

Book 2 slots one for collection and one for delivery. When they missed the collection slot, I tried phoning, but the telephone line wasn’t working. I finally managed to get through to chat online and was told that my laundry would be collected within the next two hours. I said that was no good as I was going out and had specifically booked a slot for that reason. I was then told that they would come within the hour which they did. My delivery should’ve been this evening, but strangely I received a phone call this afternoon to say they were delivering my laundry back. I was out which is why I arranged it for this evening. Very disorganised. I won’t’ be using them again.

Spent 30 quid for dry cleaning one jacket and one scarf which was ok if it was good but it came back well packed but smelled terrible like how clothes would smell after you’ve washed them and not let them dry properly. Disappointed by the service had to take my clothes back to my local to have them dry cleaned again.

They were very sharp and communicable

Don’t bother with Hello Laundry LTD. I can’t even call myself a first-time customer everything sounded great until I hit “Book.” I cancelled about 40 minutes after booking, a good 4–5 hours before any pickup, because I found a faster, more reliable service nearby. That’s when the problems started.

Getting a refund has been a mess. I was told by Satayajit to wait 4–5 working days; the tone was blunt and the service unhelpful from the start, which was worrying given how far in advance I’d cancelled. On the fifth working day, they claimed the refund was issued and told me to check with my bank but they couldn’t provide a transaction ID. Either they don’t know how to find it, or the refund was never sent. It’s now the 25th (cancellation was on the 11th/12th), and there’s been zero proactive effort to resolve this.

I’m honestly glad they never touched my clothes losing £20 is better than risking £100s, if not £1000s, worth of items. Save yourself the headache and read the reviews first. This service creates more problems than convenience.

They are punctual with collection and delivery. Quality of ironing is good.

Things go wrong as one might expect in the realm of delivery. They were thoroughly professional in their pivot and ability to provide the solution. I’m highly likely to use this service again.

Honestly I was a bit worried about the service, after I had read the reviews but I must admit, it was a pleasant surprise. The collection was on time, the driver very friendly. My laundry came back clean and fresh scent. The delivery was late but they emailed me apologising explaining the situation and asking what is the best time to deliver. Keep it like this!

Very good dry cleaning service.

I booked a collection with Hello Laundry. They arrived to pick up laundry about two hours after the window I selected. They dropped it off one hour late. I was not available and then couldn't reach them to figure out how to retrieve my clothes: their line was always busy, they didn't answer my texts, and the online chat was gruff and unhelpful. I eventually found two laundry bags hidden outside. I do not recommend this service.

Do not trust to book any service with this company. It is unreliable and it has poor customer service. When I downloaded the app and was charged £20 for a service not rendered yet, I should have thought twice and not do it.

Pick up was late and the way the customer service chat went made me feel like I could not trust that the laundry will be done in a timely manner. Especially for travellers this is worrying.

Horrible service. Placed an order with them, both collection and delivery were 4 hours late. When I received the invoice I was charged for 20 kg of clothes when I had only sent 12 kg.

Would not recommend.
