We sold and brought through Hern and Crabtree and cannot recommend them enough. We initially spoke to Rhodri. He went through the whole sales process, wasn’t pushy and knew his stuff. Due to his personable nature we chose to go through him. Mike then came round and took amazing pictures. Gavin was highly involved in finding a property, and again was really really helpful. And to top it off, Jan in sale progression accepted nearly daily calls to calm me down and explain and help beyond what we would have expected. We genuinely can’t recommend them enough. Amazing company, amazing people and all round stars. If you want to go through the whole process with minimal stress whilst not surrounded by pushy stereotypes choose Hern and Crabtree. They definitely practice what they preach.

Lance and the team jumped into action to help me get my property rented they were superb.I had urgency in my needs for a tenant and they matched that with the same urgency. I had a tenant sorted in less than 10 working days. I've now been using them for 6 years - I'll never move. The only team I'd use in Cardiff.

I have worked with Hern + Crabtree for a number of years, first in selling a house in 2007, and then letting out our next property for the last 8 years. In recent years, Lance Robertson has been my main contact. I have the highest regard for Lance and his Team. They are not only professional, responsive, courteous and diligent, but equally important for tenants, they are very objective and balanced in their advice and actions. I had considered going down the DIY way to sell a house, I wish i had done. H and C did hardly any work as properties in certain areas of cardiff sell as soon as they are marketed. Communication was not brilliant and when i asked questions such as why are things taking so long , the answer was "thats how long they take".
I would not use them again as I felt they were a bit lazy .They asked for feedback, not by saying how did you find your experience but," Could you take 60 seconds and share your happy experiences " Mine were not so happy but you did ask.

We experienced fantastic customer service as prospective tenants from both Lance and Adele over the last couple of months. Both went out of their way to help us after our first choice property fell through at short notice before moving in. Very polite, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend them to other tenants.

We were selling our property in Pencoed with a local Bridgend agent and been on the market for some time and we had a buyer very quickly but with Covid the progression of the sale was taking forever, as Covid ended we decided to Instruct Hern and Crabtree as opposed to a local agent.
Gavin Sheppard came to value and was a breath of fresh air, full of confidence and we explained our position and concerns as we needed to sell before Brexit as we were moving to Spain.
Within a few days he introduced a buyer and instigated a race to contract, he spoke to us daily throughout this process and within 10 days of viewing the buyers he introduced had exchanged contracts!!!!!
We were blown away with his service and would highly recommend anyone to use Gavin regardless of where your living as rightmove remove the need for your agent to be local. I would like say a massive thank you to Lance and the letting team for all they have done. It has been the best experience from an estate agents I've ever had. Moving as a tenant can be stressful but they were polite, understanding of my needs and made my whole process with them painless. They were quick to respond even though the covid pandemic. If more estate agents and landlords were like Hern and Crabtree the world would be a better place.

Hern and Crabtree have been absolutely brilliant! They came to value my property within a day of me getting in touch and within 24hrs it was loaded up on Rightmove. I needed a quick sale and the team were great. I had viewings booked in within days and my property sold within 2 weeks. They kept in touch regularly and were all so friendly and helpful. Great experience with Hern & Crabtree. Marketed my property with a very attractive brochure and photography. Very helpful staff and when things fell through with the original buyer, they were able to rescue the sale on the same day with another buyer which ultimately worked out for the best. Recommended!

Just sold my house through H&C Llandaff office and whilst I’m not planning on moving again for some time I will definitely be using H&C when I do. From the first valuation with Owen H&C came across as professional, trustworthy with really good knowledge of the local area. This proved to be the case when our house sold within 48 hours of first viewing for the top end of the guide price. The rest of the team we’re just as friendly and helpful as Owen and kept us updated throughout the sale. They also gave honest and open advice about our onward purchase even though we weren’t buying through them. I won’t say the move was completely stress free but any problems that came up were definitely minimised by the team. Would highly recommend to anyone selling in the Llandaff area.
