The Royal National hotel is very nice very close to the theatre area in London very good. The breakfast is excellent the restaurant staff are very efficient and friendly

Wouldn’t recommend this agent
The train tickets we booked didn’t arrive in time and I couldn’t get in touch with the company as they only open Monday to Friday office hours. DPD should’ve delivered next day (which I paid for). The morning of the trip I got through to be told that I would have to have new tickets. I got there at the same time even though the train was cancelled but the ticket home had to be changed to a later time. I wasn’t offered a refund and when I asked they said they would look into it. The original tickets have still not arrived even though we’ve been on our trip. Will not use them again as you need to be able to get in touch with someone 24/7 about the trip in case anything happens you need to change.

Dear Ms Pearson. We were sorry to hear that DPD failed to deliver your train tickets on time. You booked on Thursday 21st August after our DPD collection that afternoon, and we therefore sent your tickets via DPD on Friday 22nd August. Unfortunately it appears that the Bank Holiday has contributed to DPD's delayed delivery. DPD attempted the delivery yesterday, the day of your departure (Tuesday 26th August, after the bank holiday weekend) leaving a calling card, and in fact tried again today. When you rang us on the day of your departure to advise that the train tickets had not arrived we issued new e-tickets as close to the original travel times as we possibly could, and naturally at no additional cost to yourself. We will be refunding the DPD delivery charge today and can only apologise for the inconvenience DPD's late delivery has caused you and hope that you nevertheless enjoyed your break.

Not saying we were given deadlines to rebook!! even though they knew how serious the situation was! my aunt was attacked by a dog the day before we were due to travel!!she needed emergency surgery to her face!! Last thing on her mind was to rebook!!! They're received the police crime number, photos and medical reports and still asking if we had insurance!! No compassion, no thought or duty of care!! just hardlines, we're keeping your money!!! Also not mentioning 3 members of the party are the pensioners!!!
Your company have no compassion, all a set of robots following a script!! please stay away!!! Basically do not contact us again, we're not listening.
The company is not even worth a 1 star !!!

Dear Adele. We were very sorry to hear that one of your party was unable to travel due to an incident that occurred the day before you were due to travel. As you are aware, and was made clear at the time of booking, theatre break packages are non-cancellable and non-refundable. However, due to the circumstances we went beyond our T&Cs and as you know contacted the hotel and theatre booked to ascertain if they would make an exception to their T&Cs and allow a change or cancellation. The hotel offered a date change and when you rejected this they ultimately agreed a refund. The theatre however refused to make any date change or refund. We were therefore pleased to be able go beyond the terms of your booking and to refund for you for the hotel portion of your package, but unfortunately were unable to refund the theatre portion. We regret that despite our best efforts you remain dissatisfied with the service you received.

Theater, train & hotel break at a great value. I’ve tried several travel agents and their prices were atrocious. With hotel direct got the whole package at a reasonable price and the whole trip from train to hotel to theater went really well.

Good price and excellent service
We used Hotel Direct to book a theatre break with overnight stay (Tina the Musical + Tower Hotel). The process was easy and the cost was very reasonable compared to booking the theatre and hotel separately. A nice touch was an email from Hotel Direct shortly before our stay reconfirming arrangements with the Tower Hotel.
Hotel Direct have a justifiably high rating on TrustPilot. We shall definitely be using Hotel Direct again in the future.

The weekend break booked with Hotel Direct was so easy to arrange. I booked online, and every part of the break lived up to our expectations. The hotel booking included bed & breakfast , the train was also included and the price was much better than booking separately. Hotel Direct also booked the Theatre and this was also a very easy process

Brilliant service
Brilliant service. Fantastic deal travelling Newcastle to London return and overnight stay in excellent hotel. An issue with the payment on account of new staff member on hotel reception was easily resolved by a quick call to Hotel Direct. Will definitely use this firm again!
