Do not book tickets through this company….they take your money, cancel concert then don’t refund ! SCAMMERS ….so sick of scamming, thieving, dishonest people…..

Bought tickets to their Harry Potter show due on 7.2.26 at Coventry.

Recieved an email from them on 3.2.26 saying they had issues with the venue and the show had been cancelled and await further noticed.

Emailed asking for a refund on 4.2.26 and have heard nothing back. Trust pilot reviews now show this a frequent occurrence with the company.

SCAM. I brought tickets to a harry potter music event at coventry for last week back in december. At the time there was loads of social media presense and comments about how good the previous ones were now those pages have gone. Last week i had an email to say their was a problem with the venue and didnt need to contact them they would be back in touch. Emailed numerous times and no reply. Searched the company to find out they have done this multiple times. Cannot believe people take money from hard working people.

This company are thiefs. I bought tickets for performance in Coventry in February (07.02). I noticed I am on holiday and 2 hours after bought tickets I se t email to inform them about my mistake. They didn't answer, never. Sent lot of emails. I contacted with place in Coventry where "should" be show. They never heard about them. Hope I will return my money back.

Scammers
Take money for a concert that they rearrange to then cancel and not give money back after months and months of waiting. Back and forth via email, tried to contact multiple times via Instagram and Facebook but they just ignore you. Now funny enough they've removed their social medias.

A friend of mine is a musician who played with Jenmat in 2025. The event went ahead and was clearly a huge success… so why on earth are these people refusing to pay their employees? Absolutely shocking.

If that wasn’t bad enough, after digging online, it turns out they are cancelling events left, right, and centre! These concerts sell out and tickets are not cheap — someone is making a fortune while screwing over the people who make it happen.

I also noticed a sudden flood of 5-star reviews on Trustpilot in the last few days. It’s obvious this is a desperate attempt to fake credibility. Pathetic and dishonest.

Musicians, staff, and the public — beware. Don’t get caught out by this company.

We booked a John Williams concert at Chester Cathedral. It was postponed, then the replacement event was cancelled, and despite the concert never happening, we were told we are not entitled to a refund. That is completely unacceptable!

A friend who was attending with me is in exactly the same situation. After looking into this further, it’s obvious this is not a one-off — there are many reviews describing the same pattern: postponed events, cancellations, and then no refunds.

This feels misleading and deeply unfair. Customers are being left out of pocket for events that never take place. I would strongly warn anyone considering booking to think very carefully before doing so.

The Planets has always been a favourite piece of music for me, especially Jupiter. We weren't sure what to expect with it being played by a smaller chamber orchestra but needn't have worried, it was brilliant. There are some very talented musicians in this group!! It was nice to have images of each planet projected behind the orchestra too. I hadn't read other reviews before booking and have to say they are quite baffling, but of no relevance to what my wife and I saw and heard last night. We will definitely look out for your events in future!

We have been to see two Jenmat Productions now both at Gloucester Cathedral Harry Potter and John Williams. We had a wonderful time. The first concert we attended was Harry Potter which was amazing, the music was outstanding and the light show throughout the cathedral was breathtaking. The second was John Williams as we had enjoyed the first one so much, it was equally as amazing and we really enjoyed the variety of music in the program was awesome from Jurassic Park, Superman, Star Wars and ET to name a few. With each song the atmosphere was set to match the feeling of the film's using the lights and the emotion really game through the orchestra. Couldn't recommend Jenmat Productions more for a fantastic night out!

My second visit to a concert by the International Film Orchestra, and what an enjoyable experience it proved to be.
I had been cautious having recently read some poor reviews, which surprised me, having been to a stunning evening of music from the James Bond movies by them in Nottingham last year.
Change of venue - yes - but what a superb venue it was, at the Kings School, Warwick - excellent seating - and clearly a better chosen venue than the previously planned All Saints Church.
A very attractive programme of Holst’s The Planets and I was not disappointed.
This orchestra is of an excellent standard and truly professional. I’m looking forward to hearing them again, hopefully in the near future.
I would highly recommend their concerts.

They have been written by malicious musicians who have a personal gripe that they should be taking up with the company direct instead of writing on Trustpilot
I have seen most production shows and know they are the ultimate professionals. Over 20k people have attended shows and have thoroughly enjoyed their experience It’s absolutely typical that the negative reviews are the only ones you get to see.

Our five year old came to the How To Train Your Dragon concert, having already seen the Harry Potter show, to see mummy and daddy playing in it and because she likes those stories. She said she enjoyed the lights and liked it when daddy played on his own. She enjoyed being in the crowds of people enjoying it too, seeing the big group of people playing the music. She still comments on recognising the music whenever it comes on the radio or when we have the soundtracks on. It’s been lovely to share some quality music making with her, an experience she can add to with other live music events in the future

What a wonderful concert. Thoroughly enjoyed this evening listening to the International Film Orchestra in Warwick. Great performance and hope that you make a return visit. Thank you for clear information about the change of venue - obviously clearly communicated due to the large audience that attended. Thank you for some wonderful music.

Would highly recommend seeing one of there concerts. So much time,effort and preparation goes into each performance. Sad to see such negative comments towards a company who are trying to bring pure entertainment to many people. Please ignore the the negativity, go and experience a show yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I’m a musician who has played with this company and really had to fight to get paid! Lots of my colleagues have not been paid for work they have done as far back as 2024.

Had a lovely evening at Kings High, Banbury Road, Warwick listening to International Film Orchestra performing Holsts, The Planets. As per previous reviews we were skeptical this would actually happen. Lots of confusion at All Saints Church Leamington throughout the week, but email was received and we arrived at the school to see an orchestra and a full auditorium. Great evening, fab music. Sorry to those who missed it.

Jenmat sent an email as International Film Orchestra (see reviews on them) on Thursday saying the rescheduled concert of the 24th at Leamington is cancelled bit has been rescheduled in Warwick! I am not falling for the delaying tactics to try and get me beyond the refund window so I instructed my bank to reclaim. Researching these on Companies house. Jenmat originally Matthew Hopkins was transferred to Jenna Hopkins (wife?) who runs it now. He is now running International Film Orchestra.

I purchased tickets for an event run by Jenmat Productions. The original event was scheduled for October, then cancelled and rescheduled for January.

Since then, all attempts to contact the company by email and phone have gone unanswered. Their website no longer exists, and when I contacted the venue directly, the venue confirmed they had no knowledge of this event ever being booked there.

Noticeably, the rescheduled date falls just outside PayPal’s 120-day buyer protection window. After looking at other Trustpilot reviews, it appears many people have experienced the same situation.

Based on the lack of communication, missing website, venue confirmation, and the pattern reported by others, I believe this is not a legitimate operation. I would strongly advise others not to purchase tickets.

We booked a concert through this company at Chester Cathedral for October 2025. They sent us a message a few days before the performance saying it had been cancelled due to 'illness within the orchestra' and offered either a full refund or they would hold our payment in credit for any future events we may want to attend. We chose there full refund. Nearly 3 months and several emails later, we got zero response from them. We decided to call the bank as it was paid for on debit card. The bank refunded us immediately and will be pursuing the company themselves for reimbursement. Apparently you have 150 days from the date of the event to claim with the bank. So if anyone else is in this position, get onto your bank immediately and don't let your chance expire. Interestingly, when we first booked the tickets we found out from Chester Cathedral that this was the second attempt at putting this event on as it had been cancelled previously due to the same reason: 'illness within the orchestra'.

I came to Trustpilot out of curiosity after a bad experience this year and I am not entirely surprised to see that the same has happened to others.
I booked a Fantasy Musical Experience in a Cathedral for May 2025. It was postponed days before the event due to ‘illness’ and moved to a different venue in the city for July. We turned up on the proposed date to a closed venue and to find out that Jenmat Productions had not even confirmed a booking there with the venue organisers. I bought the tickets from Yapsody, who told me that Jenmat was now working with Ticket Tailor and relinquished any responsibility with getting a refund. I didn’t want to be sent on a wild goose chase so I claimed a refund through my bank, which (thankfully) was successful. Avoid at all costs!
