Lanai gave us great advice on suitable external blinds and we had five fitted which they installed hassle free.

We contacted Lanai for a quote and within a few hours we had a quote arranged for the following week. Good customer service.

After several years trying to find the right solution for my 5m x 4.5m patio area, I had installed a Gibus Pergola with a retractable roof from Lanai Outdoors. It provides shade to my East facing living room to protect it from the sun. It also gives an additional outdoor room in the summer. The Pergola looks great and is really good quality. Lanai are always very helpful and responds very quickly. They were able to provide a customized solution to meet my requirements. After sales support was very quick to respond and supportive

It’s now just over a year since our Lanai Iris Pergola was installed, so we’ve had a good amount of time to get to know it. The robustness, quality and style cannot be disputed. It looks and operates as good today as the day it was installed. The process of planning, surveying to mm accuracy and installation was incredibly professional and credit is due to everyone from the Lanai Outdoor team. They exceeded expectations at every step. The Iris has added an extra dimension to our garden. It’s a practical and luxurious outdoor space that we can use year round and wouldn’t be without.

Really great customer service. Put in an enquiry and an immediate response from Angie. We then received a quote and this was followed up by a very jolly Angie on the telephone asking if we needed further advice. Very helpful and informative. Great service.

We inquired about a glass room they sent us a hard back brochure and not just a down load like other companies.i then had a telephone conversation which was very explanatory and helpful. All through out our dealings they could not do enough for us

We had a 6m x 3.5m KOA Awning Fitted on the back of our patio doors and being South facing they have been a game changer with keeping the house cool in Summer and also an extension of our lounge when the doors are open.
From the original visit, survey and installation Lanai were a pleasure to deal with and the build quality is superb.
Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Really pleased with our quality Lanai. The fit is very good and it’s a robust structure. The only negative is waiting for the production which was about 10months.

The best outdoor company, my veranda looks amazing,it is solid,. lovely colour, work men clean and tidy, and did a little extra for me , they put my water buck in the rain overflow. My garden looks sooooo posh now x Thanks 🙏 Lanai xx

Thoroughly recommend the Movie Pergola we had installed by Lanai. Very happy with the product. It's looks great and it's letting us make better use of our patio.

Installation was easy. Installer was great and very helpful. Arranged to come back the day after installation to check on a potential problem with the rain sensor.

Product itself is 5 star. The installation process itself was 5 star. The reason for the 4 star overall is we did have a long, multi-stage delay where there was an issue between Lanai and the manufacturer.

My louvred roof was installed in May 2023 and the installation was very professional.
I'm so glad I went with a louvred pergola as I had considered a glass roof. However, with the ability to change the shading it means that I can sit out even in the sunniest weather and enjoy an extended outdoor space. Love the rain detector which closes the roof - doesn't completely keep the patio dry but that's more to do with the adjoining extension sloping down than the pergola installation. Installers tried to minimise the gap as much as possible.
I've attended a few Ideal Home Shows which have featured pergolas and have compated them to mine and can definitely say that whilst more expensive, Lanai's are a premium build.

Poor communication post sales.
At this point in time I can only review on service, not product. Two stars is because sales was excellent (naturally), great communication, couldn’t do enough. However, at this moment I’m finding it very hard to get any meaningful answer as to how long our order will be. Order was placed at the very start of April and we are yet to receive a shipping date. An email was received in May saying we would have one in the next two weeks, and this week we have another saying in the next two weeks. In order to manage expectations the question has been asked what lead time are new customers being told, the reply ‘a delay’. I certainly wouldn’t have placed an order with an open ended lead time.
At nearly 15 weeks (mid July) since order, and having handed over £10,000, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be expecting a firmer, definitive response.
I am merely using this platform to try to garner a response because phone calls are lacking and no one ever calls back.

We do indeed now have an installation date, thank you. However, the end of September, six months since ordering isn’t what I’d call acceptable. Nevertheless, it’s a date, which is all we wanted so we had something to work too. Thank you.

UPDATE AS OF TODAY 22/09/2025

EMAIL RECEIVED TO SAY INSTALLATION NEXT WEEK, 30TH SEPTEMBER, HAS HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED FOR THE 24TH NOVEMBER!!! THIS WILL PUT THE INSTALLATION AT 8 MONTHS (34 WEEKS) SINCE PAYING A DEPOSIT OF OVER £10000. THE WHOLE PROCESS IS BITTERLY DISAPPOINTING!

From our very first meeting to the installation day, I felt completely confident that everything would be done to the highest standard. The Lanai team exceeded my expectations at every step — truly a pleasure to work with. I’m genuinely happy I chose them and can’t recommend them highly enough.

We chose a large 8 metre long veranda with electric blinds to complement our south facing sliding doors. We chose this in 2024 and the building work on the house meant that it was not installed until the late summer of 2025 at the price originally specified. The material turned up with the right RAL colour and the installation team were highly professional having liaised with our builders effectively. All was done in a day. Some minor complications were rectified a week later by another team. Since then the veranda has been working perfectly and provides a lovely outdoor space. Highly recommended.

Our Lania was installed in March 2024. Construction was excellent, the men arrived early on Saturday morning and worked continuous through until the end of the day on the Sunday
Construction was very smooth and workmanship was excellent, they were well organised and very professional with minimum disruption to our weekend.
We have so enjoyed the extension it has given us to our lounge, and the added space to enjoy the garden in all weathers. It still looks as good as new

We had an outdoor gazebo with a tilting roof and automatic transparent side blinds fitted in 2023.

We did a lot of research before purchasing, and this was over twice the price of the nearest competitor's quote. Still, the quality of both the samples we saw and the salespeople's knowledge was in a different stratosphere.

Fitting was a dream; it took many days as it was built on site, not just pre-fabricated. It worked exactly as we had imagined, and the quality was even better than I had believed it would be.

We had an issue about a year later when one of the sides failed to close. One simple call and two days later, an engineer was on-site and showed me how to reset the system if it did it again, which it never did.

This was more than a simple gazebo in the garden; it was an extension to the house, a perfect room from our lounge into the garden, heated in the winter and a wonderful decision to fit. It was used every single day.

Last year, we moved, and the house was sold in a matter of days as the person fell in love with what we had added. The best incentive was that we recouped the entire cost in the sale.

their technical team was very helpful, they send me drawings and explain how the delivery will be like on the lorry. so that i can prepare for the work in advance. the price has been fair, i checked with a few other company. i found Lanai is more transparent on their quotation. lead is similar to others. because the product was coming from abroad. it took 7 weeks to get to us. which i found it is not bad.

After several visit from varies companies we settled with Lani who for us came out top. From the first visit we had a very professional service and any queries we had were soon answered and that made me feel very confident with them.
Put up in March 2025 and it’s amazing.
With the extras of the automatic blinds, fitted lights we have used it constantly and it looks expensive . The guys who came to fit were very professional ,clean workers and made the job look very easy .
