I attended the free Natural Labour & Birth and found it very informative. Louise's sense of humour kept me interested but can understand it may not be for everyone. Louise does actually watn you of this at the start. This is my first pregnancy via IVF and my consultant has given me the option of being induced early, waiting for a natural labour or a C section. All options scare me to be honest but just this first session has helped put my mind at ease. I've read some comments regarding not waking your partner immediately. Let's face it, most will only stare at you feeling helpless so i agree that if i can cope by myself in the early stages (im sure i can, i'm a big girl) then i'd rather do that. I'm looking forward to the next one :)

We had our first course with The Honest Midwife yesterday and it was honestly a breath of fresh air. I feel empowered and prepared for what is going to happen during labour and as though I am going into my ‘birth plan’ meeting with my midwife this week full of knowledge to make informed decisions. I cannot recommend these class enough and myself and my husband will definitely be booking more. I love the delivery style and the approach to teaching and I think it is wonderful that she supports the dads/birthing partners as well.

My husband and I were recommended this class by a friend and we were a little apprehensive as this is our first class and first baby! Louise is just incredible- contagious sense of humour, very engaging and incredibly knowledgable. We have just purchased a bundle of classes and cancelled our free NHS ones. Just brilliant. I attended the Free part 1 which was AMAZINGLY informative with lots on the process and why? Plus a really thorough section on what birthing partners can do to help and why. would highly recommend to anyone.

Went to the free antenatal class and was very informative and learnt a lot.

I am currently 26 weeks and took the free Natural Labour & Birth and would 1000% recommend. I have been feeling clueless up to now with minimal information provided by the NHS but now already feel so much more informed and prepared for my birth. All information was so easy to digest with a friendly, light hearted approach but still gave all the technical knowledge I needed. I have left with questions answered I didn't even know I had. Thank you for what you are doing Louise!

Just had a class with Louise and she was amazing! The class was so entertaining and Louise was so informative, would highly recommend, the 2 hours flew by.

We joined last nights intro class, fantastic, just what we both needed, great humour and relaxed. Covered the key points perfectly. As two Paramedics we see the side of labour when it often does not go to plan, but this was an honest appraisal of labour and we learnt a huge amount. We will be sure not to obsess with contractions and look at the picture more holistically. Great supporting notes after the session we will be booking onto the next session.

Were coming to the end of our bundle now , and have really enjoyed every class, Louise is very informative and honest but with a sense of humour! Thank you Louise 😊

We have just finished the first antenatal class with Louise and I can honestly say it was invaluable. She had a great teaching style, really informative and also funny which is a bonus! We have immediately signed up to all of the other classes and I am genuinely looking forward to them!

Great class natural labour & birth which is free. Very educational and easy to pay attention throughout the 2 hours. Highly recommend.

My partner and I have done 2 of her courses this week and they’re brilliant. Louise makes them fun and engaging whilst being extremely informative.

Every session is filled with such useful and honest advice. After the first free session I immediately booked on to more and so glad I did, I have learned so much and feel much more prepared with everything from labour to feeding and more.

Fab session 1! Normalised so much of the information that it really resonated which made it actually useful. Will be back for class 2 & 3! X

Honestly could not recommend the infant feeding class more. My baby girl is 10 days old and we are still making tweaks on our BF journey with the help of our local council feeding team.

However, I never would have felt this prepared/ informed without the class. The midwives weren't very knowledgable about BF while we were in hospital and tried to push formula. Without this class I would have panicked and likely given formula whilst in hospital.

Our local infant feeding team even said they're going to look into The Honest Midwife when I told them about the class!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our sessions with Louise. Perfect balance of getting important information across alongside light hearted humour - meaning it’s not so overwhelming for first time parents!
Would absolutely recommend her classes to everyone as they are super value for money and provide invaluable information and insight.
The ability to ask questions throughout also means that various viewpoints can be discussed as you go along.
