Fabulous FREE antenatal class
Absolutely loved our first session with Louise, it was really interesting and found it super useful.

Just completed the Natural Labour & Birth class! And loved it! Louise is brilliant and informative but is also good at keeping things light in the right way! Have a booked a bundle for the rest of the courses. - thanks Louise!

Lot's of talking about nothing. Makes it about herself, aimed at upselling you oils and other classes. The free intro class contains the most basic information you could read from any blog, video or book. Nothing is actually explained and you're told to book another class or bundle to find out the information.

Just took part in the zoom workshop with Louise.
Super helpful, lighthearted, honest and now feeling more confident going forward.

What an experience, such a fabulous midwife who makes things make sense.

I attended the taster class of Natural Labour and Birth end of July and really enjoyed it, found it incredibly useful and it was great to hear a down to earth explanation of it all and what to expect! So much so I wanted to book further classes.
After being advised during the taster class that you were able to claim a Free baby bundle (just pay postage) if purchasing class bundles when I tried to do this I have struggled to do so.

I have emailed both Info@letstalkbirthandbaby 28/07/24 and Louise@letstalkbirthandbaby 31/07/24 but am disappointed to not have had a response from either. I have tonight gone through the 'Contact us' page on the website and filled in my details so I am hoping someone may contact me from there!

After a friend recommended these classes, my husband and I signed up to the free class and it was great! We even went on to purchase a bundle where we could access more classes and online learning resources in preparation for our little one's arrival.

Louise is fab! Her sessions are interesting and informative, but they also include a great amount of humour that made us feel relaxed.

Found the classes by chance but how lucky! Very informative but accessible, logical and practical advice, no nonsense and very good sense of humour. It was just great and I would highly recommend ☺️

My partner and I went to a range of classes in a ‘bundle’ from The Honest Midwife and it was GREAT. Louise definitely has an unorthodox style laced with a great amount of humour and it worked just right for us. The classes really walk you through the topic step by step to build up the picture of what you can expect. Thank you so much!

The Honest midwife are run by amazing people with some brilliant classes and tips and advice. They’ve been brilliant to find out things being first time parents, we couldn’t recommend them more!

We attended a few of the classes and they were all really helpful and informative. Louise is brilliant and explains everything well with a good sense of humour. Would definitely recommend her classes.

I have attended several of these classes and found them all very informative. You are able to ask questions in real time via zoom chat if there is anything you’re not sure about or need further clarification on. I found her “no bulls**t” attitude and way of teaching refreshing and had a few laughs along the way. I now feel empowered and that I have all the information I need to prepare me for birth and thereafter.

It's brilliant to get actual real life opinions from a lot of experience, as opposed to what someone has been told they should say by the NHS/government guidelines.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Louise is just amazing…we have attended all of her online classes and had 1-1 chats with her and she has undoubtedly made our experience during pregnancy a happier, less stressed and reassured one. Louise’s classes are insightful, fun and totally relaxed - something we were really hoping for as there’s nothing worse than being on a video call that makes you want to fall asleep! Louise’s sessions are far from that! We loved her approach and sense of humour throughout…and the information we have learnt has helped to prepare both of us for the arrival of our little one in so many ways. We really liked that we were given the option to ask questions throughout the group sessions, and Louise 100% makes you feel like you can ask her anything - something I think is so important when things arise inbetween the midwife appointments we have through the NHS.

In short - if you’re expecting, you NEED Louise in your life! She is absolutely brilliant and I’d hate to think of what our pregnancy would have been like without her a part of it.

Helpful stuff, entertaining and she is honest as stated on the tin. Felt like we got a realistic view of some important stuff and a clear message.

There is no way we could have navigated our journey into labour, birth and early parenthood so smoothly without your guidance, advice and support. We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the informative, expert teaching that we had as part of our antenatal package. Even simple things, down to the carefully selected goody box we received early on, has helped us work out things that we need and don’t need and what is right for us and our new little family without it being completely overwhelming.

In terms of labour and birth, you helped us to be in the strongest position possible to make some major decisions at critical points along the journey. We were so well informed and confident, due to your antenatal classes, that we could deviate from our birth plan without much discussion and with the confidence that we were making exactly the right choices for our baby. Your sense of humour and grounding common sense allowed us to make sure that, even when it was all a bit tough, we could still laugh about some of it and not get bogged down in the negatives.

The only thing that could have improved the situation is if you’d have been there coaching us through labour and birth!

Your frank and honest teaching, the thinking behind which we’ve since realised is shared by many other midwives, helped us withstand pressure from doctors to induce at 41 weeks and better understand the risks vs benefits from 42 weeks and plan accordingly.

Though we started out in a birth centre, we ended up needing intervention and this was not as scary an experience as it likely would have been had we not attended your classes. We knew what to expect, what the doctors and midwives were looking for and how to respond.

Ultimately, you equipped us with the best possible chance of making the best possible decisions for us and our baby.

She came into the world as safely as possible and has been thriving ever since. Due to the expertise shared at your infant feeding class, she was weighed at Day 5 and had only lost 0.64kg of her birth weight and is exclusively breast fed. Your class allowed me to trust myself, my body and my baby to do exactly as nature intended, to stick with it even when it was a bit tough and it has paid off.

Thank you again for teaching me the importance of the birth partner and for enabling him to carry out his role with confidence, feeling valued and appreciated.
