These are the best towels we've ever had. They're really soft and super absorbent. With Mizu smart towels, you actually feel dry afterward, not damp. The smart strip is very helpful, ensuring a truly clean towel every time. I only want to use these now—like having spa-quality towels at home.

What a bummer. I ordered queen set of sheets as well as a double towel/hand towel set. The towel set never arrived, the queen sheets were shipped as Twin XL. Deemed to be the fault of the customer they will do nothing. No returns and exchanges. I haven't had a Twin XL for years and have never made that mistake, something is up with their website and they refuse to take accountability for it. So essentially I'm out hundreds of dollars with nothing to show for it. Beware. I'll be reporting to the BBB hoping to save others from this company. I hope they get blocked from sales soon.

This is a scam. I ordered a towel set but instead they sent a single towel. They are now unwilling to send the missing towel and refuse to process a refund.

Wish I had checked here before ordering. After placing my order, comments I found on FaceBook (where I saw their ad) revealed that they’re poor quality and made in China, not Japan as implied by their ad. Tried to cancel, and they said it had already been shipped. That was a lie because tracking they gave me said shipper was still waiting for the package. I told them I was going to refuse delivery. Hah! Shipper they use just drops the package in your mailbox, so Mizu considers them “accepted” and won’t refund or accept a return. I may try to get a refund from my credit card company, but otherwise they’re going in the trash.

Placed the order and discount code disappeared, so I contacted them and they reapplied it - however the purchase price was in US dollars which they converted to Stirling which hid the missing discount. Next these are marketed as very best Japan has to offer, they are made in china. They are sold as a smart towel (silver within the weave) however the label shows them as 100% cotton. Have not used them yet so not sure if I have been done or just unlucky experience so far. Note they do feel nice and soft and a good quality but I have yet to really use them.

Cheap Chinese made towels that are charged a premium the stitching and feel of towel is cheap nothing luxurious about them and on the face book add and other adds its made out like they are Japanese towels which l believed were made in Japan stay away buy something you can see and feel refused to give my money back and requested to replace what a joke replace what poor quality for poor quality buy a towel you can feel l learnt my lesson hope you learn from mine

DO NOT BUY, terrible customer experience. I received one wrong product, one was missing and I immediately let them know.

Instead of sending a replacement immediately they asked me if I want to keep the wrong product at 50% discount (tells something about their margin). No word about the missing product.

I said, I'd line to return and was looking forward to the correct product. They answered with a PDF Label and said they can only ship the correct product after their return. No word about the missing product.

After going to the fedex store and printing, packaging on my own cost, they said they have to wait for confirmation that it id the right return

In the end, they kept my money for 3 month and then said the products are not available any more, they will refund me. Unbelievably, they did not set the correct product back for me, despite ordering so long ago and their shipment mistake. Sorry about the money, time, and mails I spent here. Customer happiness is clearly no priority here.

Product never arrived. Bought the copper pillow cases.Support team never responded to a single inquiry of mine after order confirmation. Contacting my Cc company for a refund. Save yourself the time and hassle and just order something else. This company is worthless.

A warning to all out there. DO NOT BUY THESE TOWELS. Horrible quality. Threads unravel. Lint everywhere despite multiple washes - the lint will get on you, your floors and your clothing. I tried contacting them for a refund but they are not replying - and yes I have the correct email address because they were so willing to reply to me when I was asking whether my towels were coming soon.

I am emphasising this again. Do not buy these towels. You will regret it.

The delivery was good and on time.However the meal was over cooked dry .VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.

SCAM!!
Their return policy is that once the package is received you can not return it.
It happens that only after the package is open you realize that the towels are far in quality from what is announced. I'm sacred to use this and I'm filing a claim to the Police.
I give it a one star because there isn't the zero star alternative.

SURPRISE it's double the cost, thought made, manufactured in Japan so was willing to pay Japan quality.....haha Wuha, China is what's on address and took like 3 weeks...very skeptical on even using it, now days do your research, check legit reviews...before ANY purchase, especially from China.

It’s a scam people in the name of Japanese towels they sell cheap quality Chinese towels and if you accept the delivery they don’t give you money back no matter what it’s a disgrace.

First of all the website says free shipping but then when I finally checked out, the shipping fees was 15$. And then the product never arrived. They provided me with a tracking link that had no information. After chasing them with emails after three weeks, they said the shipping was lost. With a terrible customer service response, they said they will send replacement but it seems like they don’t care unless I keep nudging them with emails. I’d rather want refund but my expectations are pretty low. Don’t be fooled by 5 stars only reviews on their website. I wrote 1 star review on their website and it never went up. And most of reviews I read here and on Shop App are all bad! Big lesson learnt for not investigating online before I buy an online product from an Instagram ads. Fooled me well! Never ever buy them. Fake!

Writing after a year of use.
I bought two sets for me and my wife. She rejected them quickly so it is just me using Mizu towels and I look forward to get rid of them.

Few observations:
* Softness: Mediocre at best. First few uses were not soft at all. After some time they improved and are on par with common towels from any supermarket.
* Quality: I was horrified. They kept shedding for few months. Sheding like no other towels. After you dried yourself, new issue was how to get the tilts off you skin. After c. 6-8 washes, shedding gradually stopped.
* Color stripe: I suspect it does not work. I typically change towel after 2 weeks and by that time, it never changed color. More and more U wash them, the base color tone keeps changing over the time. So either this function is not working or I just don’t manage to get them “dirty” enough.
* China: They hide that they manufacture in China. They try to evoke an idea they are Japan made. But I have doubts if even the cotton itself is actually coming from Japan. Not trustworthy..
* Delivery: w/o issues.

Overall - worthless product. Premium priced, but the experience is worse than with regular cheap towels. Do not fall to their pretentious marketing.

I received a $186 charge on my card for some towel products. Contacted them for details as I had not made that purchase.

After a generic email, they basically went silent and never gave me credit. I finally had to contact the credit card company to get my money back.

I did some basic research and realized they're selling Chinese-made towels as "Japanese" something or another which already sounds dishonest and fishy.

Stay away!!

Scammers. We paid double the price of the current offers on the 2/12/2022. More than a month later we have not received the towels and they are refusing a refund . The communication with customer care is ridiculous - ‘We totally understand your concern!
We're waiting to see if we can still stop the reprocessed shipment and proceed with the refund. We'll get back to you asap’. And this reply is a month after the order was placed.

Ifyou don’t want to waste your money stay well away !

Towels shed incessantly even after repeatedly being laundered following Mizu's instructions (add vinegar, add baking soda + hot water, use dryer sheets, etc.). Lint gets on you, on the sink & floor, and everywhere else. Some come out of the wash with the strip colored pinkish ("need washing"), others come out with stripe white ("clean"). They are non-absorbent: they push water around on your skin rather than soaking it up. Once wet they take forever to dry. Worse than useless: with the lint they create a mess. Stay away.

Towels are simple in design and absorb normally. I don't know if the silver claim is real, but the towels seem to be fresh after a few uses.
Here is why I have doubts about the product:
The color stripe technology doesn't seem to work in my experience. The towels come right out of the wash with the pink stripe showing "dirty". So either these towels don't work or my washing machine and detergent are not working.
It makes for ugly towels and embarrassing explanations to guests about the ugly towels.
