Terrible and expensive experience. Car left unlocked and with a flat battery. Staff were extremely rude and were rude behind other customers backs before the incident arose. Had to get the car jump started at the location and then it went flat again when I stopped for a short period on the way home so had to get the RAC out. Car just over 12 months old and recently serviced - absolutely no issues prior to parking here and giving my keys to them. Clearly the person in the car park who moved the car and left the car unlocked also left the lights on. Would recommend going anywhere else as there are plenty of other parking operators for similar price with much better reputation and service than this one. Looking at other reviews there is clearly a trend over very poor service and treatment of customers cars.

waited for 20 mins to be picked up in the pooring rain at 2.50 am on 30th sept ,got my car keys only to find they had blocked my car in with another one ,not the first time that has happened ,the silly young girl they had on duty needs to learn some customer skills ,wont be using them again ,far better around there for a cheaper price.

Lady on reception was unnecessarily rude to a lady in front of me when I dropped my keys, she accused the lady of jumping the queue which she absolutely didn't, she was just trying not to block the door way.
When we landed back at Bristol airport we made our way back to the exact spot we were told to wait by the Oakwood driver, we were the first passengers to arrive. We called and waited for minibus to arrive. It parked the other side of the area from where we were waiting so we headed across, the driver aggressively told us to get to the back of the queue as he said we were pushing in. We explained we absolutely would not try to push in and were happy to wait our turn but he continued with his rant. We waited for both minibuses to fill up and go, and waited for them to drop off and come back.
The driver we then got was fine, and the young lad on the desk was also polite and helpful.
We will never be going back there as do not like being spoken to in such a rude manner as a customer.

Car looked like it had been rally crossed through a field of BIRD SHIT when I collected it!!
Never again will I be using this company.
My car was glistening when we dropped it off at Oakwood as it had just been valeted. Two weeks later & evening pick up in the dark. Oh my goodness what a disgrace. My car was covered in bird shit with all manner of things in it from berries to big green clumps. Luckily I had spare screen wash and a cloth to clean the windows so I could see to drive home.
Next morning what I encountered was nothing short of a horror show. The whole car was covered with encrusted bird droppings & I mean the whole car!!! So bad it was in the the door seals the grill the wipers door joists everywhere. Unbelievable. I have just spent 3 hours washing my car twice with buckets and soap then a jet wash to wash the debris left from the bucket washing. I strongly advise anyone against using this company for keeping their car as you will most definitely be left regretting it!!
Also the first driver who took us to the airport was very rude & abrupt. Very self opinionated and bragging about himself and what he has got. The return pick up from the airport wasn’t much better & we were left to stand waiting for over 30 minutes. Garbage service NEVER to be using again ever

Have used Oakwood multiple times over the last few years and never had an issue until returning from Greece on Sunday at 5.30pm. The guy that picked us up from the airport was so rude. He picked up our bags shouting FFS and of F’ing hell then proceeded to throw our bags in the van and slam the doors. Got to the car park and he opened the back doors and walked off! My husband and son went to get the keys leaving me with an old couple and pregnant daughter in law so I had to climb in the van and pass the luggage out. He should not be working in a customer service job!

Terrible experience. Shuttle bus drivers were having a heated argument when we arrived. On return, our car was not where we were told it was. Spent ages looking for it at 9pm at night! Finally located it boxed in by two other cars. The receptionist (Chloe) told us to go back and get all the registrations. They were to busy to move the cars. All staff we encountered were rude and unhelpful. The man who eventually came to move the other cars, swore the f word at my husband! Incredibly disgusting attitude. Drove the jaguar and BMW with no care as he moved them. The staff we encountered here, clearly hate their jobs.

First time using Oakwood, very easy to drop my car off and get on the mini bus. When Collected my car at 1:30am after a 4 night holiday, I discover the battery had been left to drain to the point I couldn’t even unlock the car. When telling the office staff about this, they did help by getting one of the mini bus drivers to help jump start it. Since then I have tried contacting Oakwood to find out if they discovered the issue when moving the car or if the car was perfectly fine, but have had no response back. My car has now needed a new battery as well as now has a power steering issue that can only be fixed by a specialist garage leaving me without a car for the next month. As well as having to deal with bills to fix an issue that was caused by oakwood

This is by far and away the worst parking company I have ever used. Arrived and there was nobody on site and I had to wait for 1/2 hour before anyone arrived. Explained I had an emergency and needed to get to airport super fast and the heartless clown told me I had to wait a further 1/2 hour before his driver could take me. If I didn’t like it I could go and park at airport and he’d give an immediate refund. Suddenly a driver arrived and I got to airport on time.
On my return I called them, as stated in their email, as I landed but no answer on any of their numbers. On exiting the terminal I received a call from an unknown number and was advised that the mini-bus would be 20 minutes late because they were filling up with fuel. 20 minutes later still no bus so called and texted again and was told he was having problems with fuel card. 30 minutes later the phone had been switched off. After another 30 minutes the bus arrived and in questioning other passengers that he was dropping off it was said they had not stop for fuel. I also asked the driver what happened and was told he had to take a tacho break. I then messaged the clown who eventually replied saying he never said anything about fuel and told me the driver had to take a tachometer break which is a complete fabrication.
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS CROWD AS YOU CAN. THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMERS AND NEVER TELL THE TRUTH.

Left our car with them on the 24/7/26 seemed ok. On returning to pick the car up my partner got the key and was told the car was at the top of the car park on the right. I go to get the car but it’s blocked in so I didn’t bother going right up. I go back to the office tell them ( 5 young lads in office) they say what’s the reg of car blocking me in, I son know. Need the ref they say. I say well that’s not my job it’s your, they get funny with me and say no it’s not you need to get it. I want to get home so I go get it. Then I go right up to my car and notice the car blocking me in has a tow bar and has been reversed into my front bumper and damaged it. I take pics tell the bloke who come to move it.,he doesn’t give a s**t just says send the pics to the email on the card and walks off. If you love your car DO NOT LEAVE IT HERE. I’ll Never use them again.

Absolutely appalling experience with Oakwood Car Parking at Bristol Airport.

When we collected our car, we immediately noticed fresh scuff damage that wasn’t there when we dropped it off. We reported it immediately to the night manager, Luke, who inspected the damage and acknowledged that the scuff marks looked fresh. He told us not to worry and to email the office the following morning.

That was the last bit of helpful service we received. It took them two weeks to reply to our first email, and after that they completely ignored us. No accountability, no follow-up, and no attempt to put things right. We’re now left paying for the repairs ourselves.

In hindsight, I should have insisted on getting Luke’s comments in writing or recorded the conversation. Instead, we trusted what we were told, and that trust was clearly misplaced.

To make matters worse, a friend of mine told me they also had a worrying experience after using Oakwood. They said they received a 70 mph speeding ticket from the middle of Bristol while they were on holiday in the Costa del Sol. I can’t comment on the circumstances, but hearing that alongside my own experience has completely destroyed any confidence I have in this company.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering using Oakwood to take detailed, time-stamped photos of every panel of their vehicle before handing over the keys, inspect it thoroughly on collection, and get any admissions or observations in writing immediately.

I certainly won’t be using Oakwood again. In my opinion, the way they handled this was completely unprofessional, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Outward journey: Couldn't find my booking at check in then told me I'd checked in already! Apparently this happens all the time according to the staff. Took my key off me anyway then questioned why I stood there waiting for it to be put in their filing system. No receipt is given to be presented on return. No space on minibus as people who have yet to check in their car reserve spaces and staff do nothing about it so had to wait over 10 minutes in heatwave temperatures with no shelter providing a shade
Return journey: Minibus arrived promptly but wasn't big enough to sit everyone so my two teenage children (17 and 15) and I had to share a seat. Luckily the journey wasn't far as fat chance of using seat belts. Car was not where we were told, on the right past the bus stop and was eventually found on the left further into the car park blocked in. I appreciate getting left and right mixed up but if it's 50% of your role maybe it's time to get a different job. The staff are predominantly young and couldn't care less. I will never use Oakwood parking again. Luckily the rest of my holiday went well!

I have used this company several times in the past, but after my most recent experience I won't be using them again.

We returned from holiday during the recent UK heatwave and arrived at the pickup point, making the required phone call as instructed. Over the next 30 minutes, more and more people arrived and were left waiting. We called several times, as did many of the other customers, and were given various explanations, but the reality was that nobody turned up for half an hour.

During this time, the Airport Tavern minibus arrived, collected passengers, returned, and collected more passengers while we were still standing there waiting.

What made the situation worse was the attitude of the driver when he finally arrived. Rather than apologising for the delay, he proceeded to criticise customers for making complaints. When we pointed out that we had been standing in the heat for 30 minutes, his response was that we should be used to it because we had just come back from a sunny holiday.

After waiting in extreme temperatures, a simple apology would have gone a long way. Instead, customers were spoken to in a dismissive and unprofessional manner.

I genuinely do not understand why someone with such poor customer service skills is put in a customer-facing role. Reliability is important, but so is how customers are treated when things go wrong.

I would rather pay a little extra in future and receive a better standard of service. We are travelling again in October and, thankfully, I have not yet booked my parking. Based on this experience, I will be looking elsewhere.

Rude driver, wants to start an argument with everyone! what a huge loser to moan,that i had a sip of my drink as i told him i felt faint, even tho im diabetic,told me i had 4 hours on the plane to do that,is he suddenly a doctor?

Returned to car windscreen broken - apparently tyres and windscreens are not covered when parked on their premises.
Manager and staff very unprofessional - would give zero stars if possible!! DO NOT USE if you value you car!

Absolutely horrendous service, would definitely not recommend. Came back to a massive crack in my windscreen, and was refused any compensation or a refund. Workers all very rude and unhelpful aswell

My last review got removed so im writing it again as people should be able to have access to the REAL reviews... The owner of this company OAKWOOD PARKING threatened to fight my elderly family in the carpark after we simply and calmly asked if we could be picked up next as lots of people have pushed in several times and we had already been waiting 35minutes. He instantly became very defensive and denied that we waited that long even though I had spoken to him on the phone 35minutes before... he then left us and everyone else there and refused to take us back, forcing us to pay for an uber. LUCKILY we had a full refund a couple of weeks later but still doesnt change the fact that EVERYONE SHOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE!!!
Ive since used the company next door and they have been absolutely spot on, even leaving the car in a much cleaner than oakwood ever did.

Police involved - Damaged car - two severed seat belts and Oakwood no help.

We returned to find our car in different driving modes, all settings changed and worse - two destroyed seat belts. Our car is 7 years old and the seat belts worn by our children in the way to the airport are destroyed.

What are they doing? Have called the police.

Awful they used your car while you are away then take 2 hrs to find it awful customer service it’s a family run business they all look like inbreds

Have used this for around three years : never had a problem. Simple, easy. My vehicles were always in the same condition when I collected as to when when I dropped them off. Friendly drivers on the shuttle than runs every 10 min or less to the airport. My flight came in at around 12:40 ish last night- by the time I got me and disabled uncle through customs it was gone 1.30am ; called Oakwood and the minibus was already on its way to get us and another couple. Much better than queuing for almost 40 mins at Silver zone for example; dropping keys, people shoving and collecting keys at the same time! Oakwood was so easy. Efficient staff. All the self entitled “ I have a child “ brigade would find this far easier than the other parking areas. Not that bad price wise. Will only use this parking facility now. Two lovely welsh drivers Wednesday and Saturday just gone.

4th time to use Oakwood parking this year and again it was great.
Easy to find, quick and easy to drop off car and quick transport to airport where the minibus stops a lot nearer than the main drop off area.
On return phoned the number and the bus picked us up 3 or 4 minutes later, dropped us at the car park, picked up the key and were on the road in minutes.
All was good and for one of the cheapest prices I could find.
