5 star rating because the operative was excellent. Rebecca White listened carefully and responded very professionally to my request to cancel my car insurance. I'd sold my car that day and now no longer own a car. I have 20 years of no claims bonus (NCB) history of which the vast majority, if not all, was collected with Police Mutual. Rebecca confirmed that I had 20 yrs of NCB and have no hesitation about returning to Police Mutual if I get another car within the next 2 yrs (ie B4 my NCB expires).

Well looked after. All questions were answered at a level I was able to understand.

Police Mutual have been a first class company but I must admit I may change company when my policy is due for renewal because the cost is high!

Have been a customer of Police Mutual for many years, used them this time for contents insurance, all done online easy and problem free.

We needed to deal with Police Mutual because my sister's driving license had expired and she suffers from Parkinsons.

Their agents were incredibly helpful, caring and professional throughout.

I've had my car and house insurance with Police Mutual on /off for now over 15 yrs as the premiums have always been competitive and good value for money. However, having gone back with them this year with the house & 3 cars, I've found the application and processing procedure very substandard and disappointing. The online quoting system is so much out of sync with the telephone system, I was on the verge of pulling all the policy quotes. PMAS...what has happened? The whole experience is awful. You seriously need to test case the procedure as I do think I'll be the only customer who will become frustrated with you. I dread to think what will happen when it comes to renewal this time next year. 😤

Very easy and simple no hassle at all

I contacted PMAS to tell them I'd sold my car but would not be picking up my replacement car for a few days. Sue, who I spoke to was most helpful and ensured I was fully aware of the process. I was given a quote for my new vehicle policy. I felt that I was speaking to someone who knew the insurance business and was confident in a very polite way.

In the past couple of days I have spoken to several employees all of whom have been more than helpful. I am in the process of purchasing another vehicle and required to know what the various insurance costs would be in relation to the various cars. I cannot remember the names of them all except the last one who was Rebecca

Easy site to navigate and a good competitive quote.
Not impressed with having to go to my previous insurer for proof of no claims for 9 plus years.
Never had to do this before when changing insurance provider.
Otherwise it would have been 5 stars

Discussed with Keith the renewal quote provided by the company. He thoroughly explained the breakdown of the insurance cover and researched any area whereby savings could be made. Keith was very patient and professional, and provided a new renewal quote which was beneficial to us.

It took 25 minutes to speak with someone. I spoke with Keith he was very helpful and even though I could not complete my inquiry at the time phoned me back was very helpful and answered all my questions he is a credit to your orgatmany thanks

Wow following an email about car insurance thought I would try them again .
Had quotes years previously but didn't take due to the cost being disproportionately high.
Boy they haven't changed - my clean licence of 20+ years and no claims wanted £949 !!???
Thought my renewal was high +£20 up from last year at £298 .... wow don't trust them to have members interests at heart .
Come on can do better

I called to make some amendments to my car insurance policy renewal and ask some questions. I spoke with Rebecca White who was friendly, really helpful and efficient. I found the process to be easy and hassle free. I've been with police mutual for a couple of years now, and I'm more than happy with the product and customer service.

Keith knew what to do immediately, dealt with it swiftly and efficiently and spotted a second cover that would also need to be amended before I asked for it

Have had the genuine pleasure of speaking to police mutual customer services twice over the last few years as power of attorney for my parents. 1st to cash in their savings , 2 nd to adjust house insurance. Each time the advisor was so helpful and would contact me themselves until the matter was resolved. Saving the stress of ringing again and having to explain all over again.

The Agent was polite and helpful which allowed me to be confident I could make the right decisions.
