Awful Customer Support + Uncomfortable Pillow

I brought the pillow after seeing a Facebook ad, it was very expensive and expensive postage. The pillow was uncomfortable for me and caused back pain. I had to contact customer support for return, that's when the truth unleashed. When you get the pillow, it's vacuum sealed and very small in size, but then it blows up to normal size pillow. You have to return this normal size pillow to China and pay the postage. The return policy is not clear when you buy the pillow, the advertisement just says there is 30 day money back guarantee without stating the caveats. So think before you buy otherwise you'll be stuck with a pain causing expensive pillow.

good product

I used to wake up every morning with neck pain and headache. It's been for more than a year. After trying this ProSleepy pillow for slightly more than a week, I can feel that I am much more refreshed when waking up and less fatigue during the day. I am quite satisfied with this product and am happy that I have made this choice.

Not so risk-free

ProSleepy advertises risk-free purchases, which is false, because as other reviewers have stated, you have to pay for the return. To make matters worse, nowhere on the product or order page is their a link to their return policy, it just says “risk free”. Same thing goes for the receipt, no mention of this return policy until you try to return.

Edit: ProSleepy responded to my review below and then reached out to me to say they would review my order, I gave them my order # 6 days ago and have not heard anything since.

I've only just ordered my pillow so I'm not expecting it any time soon as i live in NZ hence 3 stars. I will rate again once I get it and start using it. Ordering was simple and easy. I've had these pillows before (not this brand though) and they are great. At the moment I'm waking up with neck and and back pain so I cannot wait to received this pillow.

What a joke

When you read about their 30 day guarantee on their website, it seems pretty straightforward. But at the end of the day - 4 months later - you might only get half your money back.

I am average sized, and the pillow was much too small to be ergonomic. When I asked to send it back they offered a 50% refund and to keep the pillow. In hindsight, this might have been the easier option.

It cost me 18 pounds ($30) to send the item back to China, and the tracking on the parcel ended up expiring. For all I know they had been sitting on the pillow for 2 months without refunding my money. Finally, they saw my review on Trustpilot here, and offered me my money back if I took my review down (I said no).

They did end up giving me a refund, after I said I was reporting them as fraud to my credit card company - minus their shipping costs. At the end of the day, I got only half my money back. (Spent $102, now have $51 after my shipping costs.)

I did buy another pillow with a 30 day guarantee from Sleep Easy - an actual UK company - as my partner wanted to try one. They did give all of our money back within the guarantee timeframe. Recommend you go there instead if you want to try one of these ergonomic pillows out, or Amazon.

A happy sceptical customer

I ordered this pillow in early January 2021 after reading online reviews and in desperation following months of a repeated trapped nerve in my neck and related shoulder pain and stiffness from home working and covid side effects. Unfortunately it took 5 weeks to arrive, hence removal of one star- but once it did get to me, I have not looked back. It took a couple of nights to get used to sleeping in a supported position on a much more solid pillow, however since using, I have not once woken up with a stiff and painful neck and shoulders (which had been continual for the last 6 months despite regular physio treatment). It's genuinely been a game changer for me, and I'm normally extremely sceptical of so called 'miracle products'. It has given me my neck and shoulder mobility back, and improved my quality of sleep and life! Thank you ProSleepy (but sort your shipping delays, as I nearly cancelled my order before it arrived!)

I am not impressed

I am not impressed. As previous reviews have said, these pillows come from China, so if you are elsewhere in another country, the order takes a while to arrive (my order took almost 5 weeks). I only mention this because if you want to return the pillows, the cost is enormous, so it is almost not worth it if you are unsure whether you will like the items. As for the pillows, they are just your standard run of the mill memory foam, rather cheaply made. I say that because the "indention" for your head (bamboo cervical pillow) is really minimal, almost non-existent. I do not recommend them. Save yourself the money and buy locally if you think memory foam might work for you. I find these pillows awkward and a bit stiff, and they for sure did not align my neck in any way (as a side-sleeper). I think memory foam is just not for me. Maybe they are more suited to people who sleep on their back The customer service is pretty prompt, but again, to return the pillow you need to pay the return shipping.

UPDATE: I returned these pillows on February 18. As on March 21 they have arrived with this shatus when I track them: "Held in Customs. Your item is being held in Customs at 1:33 pm on March 21, 2021 in GUANGZHOU, CHINA." It is now April 11th.

I have written 5 emails inquiring about when my refund will be processed. I have not gotten a response.

Solved My Neck Pain & Snoring!

I have been trying many different pillows over the years to solve my snoring problem, which then led to constant neck pain as the pillow I had previously settled on helped with snoring but wasn't great for my neck. Enter the ProSleepy pillow and 3 months after using it I can confidently say it changed my life. I now wake up energized and ready to start the day (because I can finally breathe and sleep deeply) and without neck pain -hooray! What a lifesaver, very grateful to this company and the product they developed.

My daughter introduced me to this…

My daughter introduced me to this pillow due to the fact she knew this new pillow was best for me, before my daughter and her boyfriend seen I was sleeping on 2 standard pillows that already became flat and my head was up too high, which is bad for my spine. I adore this pillow sleep much better and doesn’t get flat where in the middle of the night I have to flip it over, no more thanks to prosleepy!!!

Poor return service

I did not get on with the pillow, which is fine as some people clearly do.

But as previous reviews have mentioned the 30 day trial is basically a con as the return address is in China, which isn't mentioned before. The only reason I haven't rated 1 star is that customer service is efficient and they at least reply to emails.

I would have left 5 stars but it was a nightmare actually trying to get the pillow. I ordered on 2 December 2020 and after numerous automated email responses I finally received it on 9 January 2021. I was so cranky I thought it would be rubbish and not work but it is AMAZING! I have chronic neck pain since being thrown off my horse 18 months ago and I have finally been able to get a decent night's sleep. If you can deal with the drama of actually trying to receive the pillow, it is worth it.

I love the pillow

I love the pillow, which sorted out some neck issues I got from my awkward sleeping position. My OH suffers with neck, shoulder and back pain. He tried the pillow and was amazed at the overnight improvement. It supports your neck whichever way you sleep. Shipping time is long so you have to be patient.
