Prospect Homes Reviews 

In August 2024 I wrote a review pointing out a number of problems that had arisen since buying our house in 2018.
Prospect replied to the review, indicating that a change of management would mark a change in approach.
Nothing has changed. I have spent the last year trying to get Prospect to provide the development with the wild flower meadow that they promised. During that time Prospect tried to give the impression that they were doing something. For example, speaking to the our managing agents. But in fact these were just delaying tactics.
I was told that the meadow had been accepted by the development's management company, of which I'm a director, but refused to provide proof of this.
As it stands weeds and thistles are rampant in an area that should have been a colourful wildflower meadow.
Prospect continue to let us down.

We were shown round our new home today. Everything was clearly explained by Sam. The process was not rushed and Sam took the time to demonstrate everything thoroughly. He was able to answer all our questions. He reassured us, going forward that if we had any concerns then he was available to us. Very professionally done.

Been working through our snagging list with Kirsty (customer services) and are really grateful for the way she has organised everything and kept us informed. Grateful for Sam Williams coordinating everything on the day.

Mentioned to the site manager Sam a few weeks ago that we had sloght marks on our patio door handles. He sprung into action and sorted them for us in double quick time. Thanks Sam

Prospect Homes gave me my forever, dream home and it’s amazing, I’m so happy.
They delivered exceptional advice, service and professionalism from start to finish.
The experience was outstanding and very memorable.

Just purchased a house at Bridgemere couldnt be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish the team were incredibly professional and helpful. Jasmine was great from start to finish she made the process an actual pleasure . The handover process was impressive with clear information by Sam the site Manager and his colleague well organised and any questions I had were answered concisely . Lisa the sales agent who I hadn't really dealt with before only on handover has been fantastic making sure everything was ready and making the final stages of the handover process seem seamless and even followed up to make sure I was settled in nothing too much trouble . Fully recommend purchasing a home with prospect homes .

We are in the process of moving into our new home built by Prospect Homes. The process has been fuss free and the house is amazing , we're very happy. We would like to say a big thank you to Jasmine, Maggie , Barbara, Sue and Lisa for managing all our queries along the way and for the support received. A special thanks to all who were involved in the building and especially to Sam the Site Manager and his assistant Danny who with Lisa are continuing to assist us with ongoing professional customer service. The worst customer service!! All of their phone lines are closed (customer care, head office even the EMERGENCY Line!!)

Do not expect any issues to be sorted, and there will be plenty.

My boyfriend and I are first time buyers and we are so glad we chose Prospect homes. What an amazing group of people, the level of care from all the team is next to non. Jasmine and Maggie in the office have made the process from the start a breeze. We didn’t know where to start and with there guidance it has been so easy and we have felt so relaxed. We truly believe without them the buying of our home would have been super stressful and we cannot thank them enough.
We met the new site manager Sam recently, what a lovely man. He showed us round our future home, answering any questions we had. Since visiting our home we had a few more questions - he has been so quick to respond to these and help us out. He really couldn’t do enough for us, we realised we wanted a double oven last minute and he quickly contacted head office and sorted this for us.
We can’t thank all the team at Prospect Homes enough, what an amazing group of people you all are, and we cannot wait to move into our home!!

If you are looking to live in a Prospect home for more than 5 years look elsewhere. This company like many are only interested in the initial quick profit from a sale with declining duty of care to follow over the years. I reside on Riversleigh Way Warton Preston site which was built Circa: 2015. The initial build and estate was satisfactory but over time the true lack of attention and duty of care has come to light.

The roads remain unadopted nearly ten years on from initial build thus responsibility falls on the owners of the property’s.

Prospect GB failed to set up a maintenance facility with the residents for the upkeep of communal grassed hedged areas etc so what we now have can only be described as a complete mess which now attracts litter dog waste etc. It’s totally unacceptable and looks horrendous.

The property’s were sold as leasehold like a previous reviewer has mentioned thus have been sold on for a quick profit while the homeowners face ever rising yearly costs.

The poor quality of a Prospect build is now coming to light with ongoing bathroom kitchen repairs having to be carried out at a considerable cost, thus responsibility falling on the owners once again.

I have tried contacting Prospect GB by email by phone left messages which have all been ignored as once they leave your site they will not be interested. No customer care.

I don’t often leave reviews but have felt compelled to do so to give an honest account of this house builder. Like I’ve said if you’re planning on residing in your property for more than 5 years look elsewhere. It’s not for the long term.

Sam has been the site manager on this site for a short period of time but he has been great at communicating and completing work that needed to be done. Thank you so much Sam

I have recently moved into a new house and have had such a welcoming experience from everyone. Sam the site manager, I can’t rate him highly enough, definitely 10/10. His ability to listen and resolve issues efficiently within his working day is amazing, often going above and beyond. He’s always positive, approachable and willing to help.

Callum on time as always, very friendly and holding a broad knowledge makes all jobs relatively straight forward.
Thanks again and not forgetting Kirsty for her organising.............

Lisa has been helping us find the perfect home for our family's needs at the Abbey Vale development in Widnes. She's been superb throughout, great comms, very friendly and supportive of our indecisiveness when choosing kitchen/bathroom designs etc as well as putting up with our crazy toddler running around when we've been to visit the office on weekends etc.

Cant wait to finally move into the development in the coming months and if everything continues as smoothly on Prospect's side as it has recently I know we'll love it!

Excellent service from Lisa at Valley Vale Widnes. We enquired at a lot of builders in the local area and chose prospect homes for how welcoming she made us feel. This is a huge purchase and we feel the stress and worry has been kept to a minimum as she’s always there to help, guild and support us. We look forward to moving in and enjoying our beautiful new home

Popped in last weekend to the Abbey Vale site in Widnes as there is a part exchange deal on.
Very impressed with the houses and also a shout out to Lisa for taking the time to explain everything and show us round the development.

Excellent customer service is what you’ll receive here. Nothing is too much trouble and every query is promptly dealt with.
At a time when good or even adequate customer service is sorely lacking, Prospect are at the top of their game.
Shout out to Jasmine, Maggie & Jamie for their support in making our house move smooth and stress free.

Me and my boyfriend recently moved into our first house at the Bridgemere site in Burscough. We were quite nervous being first time buyers but Jasmine has been amazing and patient with us and all of our questions!! They’ve been accommodating to things we wanted in the house and offered such a personalised and personable service! Jamie the site manager has also been great and helpful and we feel at ease knowing that if we do have any issues we have the support of the team at Bridgemere! Thank you for all your help so far and we absolutely love our new house and the breathtaking views we are waking up to every morning!!

Callum from the Customer Care team arrived to sort out the settling cracks after 15months of living here . It was a pleasure to welcome him into my home. He did the work required and left all areas in pristine condition , even hoovering the areas he worked in. Excellent service provided by the whole CC team.

My radiator fell off my wall in bathroom rang riverside and within an hour prospect housing came out to fix it and helped me understand my boiler , cleaned up and put everything back for me absolutely amazing. Sam your a diamond thank you for your help
