Unbelievable, I ordered a refurbished electric weed killer sprayer with 2-3 delivery, my local store called me saying central warehouse has sent a sink!!! Was asked if I wanted to reorder it, yes please, oh sorry it’s out of stock. I asked if that was because I’d bought it, no idea she says it’s out of stock…normally my experiences with Screwfix have been mainly positive, but this is just a joke..

Screwfix at this branch is always supportive and very helpful when you are looking for advice. The deputy manager is welcoming and makes each visit a pleasant experience, hopefully we will also shop in the branch he is transferring to, he will certainly be an asset to them.

Website is useless now! Must not need customers these days and just focusing on trade counter or app!
Cant view the site or content pages for a bug they cant be bothered to fix where you need to know which internet browser is best to use to be able access the site! Chrome is a popular browser and so is Edge but it impossible to access content through either without messing about with settings! Nothing like putting up a barrier for customers! This will put the vast majority off so good work, I guess you dont need the sales these days! Whoever is in charge of this site and the other Kingfisher group site needs to do a course in either development or Customer UI experience as its shocking! ScrewFix and BnQ

No reply from customer services via email but I'll bet they soon respond to a one star review.
0rdered on Sunday and was messaged to say part of the order would be available next day.
Travelled the seventy miles round trip on Tuesday to be told full order hadn't arrived and still not ready today (Wednesday).
Being cynical ... the text saying part of my order is delayed arrived seconds after I'd already made the journey and left the shop and looks like a deliberate ploy to use the "wait until you receive the text" trump card that Screwfix uses as their get out clause ... seems to be a common thread amongst the one star reviews.
I look forward to your response and if you want a resolution then just post out the delayed parts to my address.

I placed this order for an an item they didn't have in stock at the Hornchurch branch, which is a short walk from my home, at 11:10am on Monday 23 March, expecting it to ready for collection after 24 hours. The next day I hadn't received a text message by 10:45am so I walked down to the store only to be told it wouldn't be ready for collection until the afternoon. It appears next day delivery is effectively next day and a half at Screwfix. So I just called Screwfix head office, asked them to send a refund to my Paypal account and then drove to my nearest Toolstation to get my item.

Ordered next day collection. Half the order arrived - the other half was stuck at warehouse. They said it would arrive following day. Still no text. Someone at Screwfix then appears to have cancelled my original order and re-ordered it for some reason unbeknown to me, for next day collection again. Now next day, still no text. Phoned customer services - they said it should arrive at local store today and I'll get text when ready. Couldn't guarantee it. But went on to tell me 99.999% of orders arrive next day so it should be absolutely fine - I had to remind them it hadn't arrived Sunday, or Monday, so it's now 2 days late and it's now delaying my job. The person was apologetic but probably not a good time to roll out the 99.999% comment! I was also told in store that I'd get a £10 credit for the delay. That hasn't happened either.

I called into my local Screwfix this evening on the way from work "Oakham Rutland" Not realising the time, i proceeded to type in the order and was greeted with a comment from the counter "can you hurry up, we close in 1 minute" I made my order and went to the till to pay. Behind the counter stood 2 young girls, there was no please or thank you and my items were pretty well thrown on the counter. I have used Screwfix regularly for many years. However, after how i was treated this evening, i will make the 50yd walk across the Carpark to Toolstation. I'm bitterly disappointed and feel that these 2 inviduals could do with some training on Customer service.

both Screwfix and B&Q are owned by the same company Kingfisher PLC. so why do I continuously get a large price difference when ordering the same product.
This happens all the time and this in NOT an isolated event.

Terrible Experience and Customer Service
I ordered a tin of paint for it to come open in the box. Contacted customer services who want me to return an empty tin of paint to be refunded.

Needed a set of Blum hinges to replace a broken one on a Sunday, but not sure about the ones produced. Andy in the Brighouse store went that extra mile & suggested I call back before 4:30 closing time to see if he'd managed to find some. I called back & I asked if he'd managed to find a pair, he rattled the cellophane wrapper containing a correct pair. Half an hour later, job done. Well done Screwfix.

Why bother with click and collect when you have to wait longer than people just walking in. EVERY time I use this it's always the same. You receive a text stating it's ready to collect and you get to the store (Northampton) and it hasn't actually been picked and then you have to wait in the queues for walk-in customers only to find that you then have to wait for someone else to go and pick the order! It's a joke! Toolstation, you order online and it's there right on the shelf ready.

Andy at the Stockport branch was great when I bought the wrong size lock. He was calm and worked out a solution that was no more money and in stock and helped me sort extra keys being cut. Turned a rubbish day into a good day

I have just been down to the Leeds Road, Huddersfield Screwfix Store and have literally just been blown away by the customer service I have just received. It was so good that I am still sat in their car park writing this. Huge thank you to all the friendly staff who gave one of the best retail experiences I have ever received. BRAVO and thank you. I stopped using Srew fix because they fix nothing and kept screwing things up. But foolishly I decided to try them again, bad mistake, the are much worse than before.
Going to use local companies in future as they are a false economy.
