I have been wanting to see Safia for 10 years and they certainly didn’t disappoint. It was absolutely amazing. Great venue too. It was so worth the drive to and from the Sunshine Coast.

The show was great. However the State Theatre is not age-friendly - walking up and down the curved marble staircase, which has no handrails, at age 80 and my husband 82 (using a walking stick), was something we won't do again.

It was easy to find my seat. I didn’t wait long for food and a drink, only because I got there early enough to get something and settled in my seat before it got too crowded. The food is very expensive though

The iconic venue. The ease in ticket purchasing and entering theatre. The staff were very helpfull with directions. Overall a magical experience

Enjoyed seeing a legend
Don McLean… though now at 81yrs…. speaking many of the verses of his extraordinary songs … it didn’t matter … simply wonderful to see & experience those classics… live ….
Ticketmaster… always retain the option of patron selecting their own seat… in booking process.

The Ticketmaster ticket process was easy, communication was great, the venue was really good and staff friendly and helpful. Then of course the main event, Carl Barron. He had us laughing all show with some big belly laughs throughout. A great comedian who had the audience in stitches. We had not been to the Palais Theatre since its restoration. The old girl is looking good. Parking close to the venue was convenient.

So easy to book, pay and entry to the concert.

I bought four tickets. One of those was successfully transferred. However, the second transfer did not work and left the user stuck at the turnstile.
I went to the turnstile to assist and tried cancelling the transfer via the Ticketmaster app. The cancel was initiated but did not result in the ticket returning to my Ticketmaster account.
We were directed to the nearby Ticketmaster office and the problem was resolved. However, if this event was instead very crowded and/or there was no nearby Ticketmaster office, one of our group would have been stranded.

The whole experience was seamless and straightforward, and Carl was very funny

We loved the show and seats were great for us being in our late 80's and two granddaughters 21 and 17 enjoyed it as well. Reg Livermore was outstanding.

The staff at The Tivoli were incredibly nice, and the venue is one of my favorite places to attend a concert; beautifully maintained.

Easy to buy the tickets and love the phone tickets capability

Ticketmaster send notification, reminders and follow up messages considering on any booked events, which I think really good idea specially on my busy schedules. I think it’s really great!

The Hindley Street Country Club were amazing. They kept everyone in the audience entertained the whole night. We have already booked for next year.

Very shady and unethical company? seems that way

It is my belief they intentially gave me a runaround for over a week (month even) avoiding exchanging my seats because they knew i had bad seats and didnt want to swap them... my $189seats went down to $149 and are now $66 while the ones i wanted retain their price

When i first requested these seats they were $31 dollars more but after waiting days on end the price had dropped, and then they claimed due to the lower cost than my original purchase price i cant still have them, they than tried to strong arm me into paying more for more expensive options

Im certain they did all this on purpose knowing they would have to try resell my bad seat choice at a lower value

They really should be investigated for this lack of customer service

Consumer law considerations
Under the Australian Consumer Law, services must be provided with due care and skill and be fit for purpose. The extended delays, website problems, and failure to process a straightforward exchange request within a reasonable time appear inconsistent with these guarantees. I also note Ticketmaster’s own published exchange policy and Purchase Policy, which state that exchanges (where available) require new tickets of equal or greater price, while simultaneously acknowledging that nothing in their policies is intended to limit rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Easy to book, easy to retrieve tickets. Overall great experience

Excellent talent - violinist, singer, acrobats. My only complaint was that the music was too loud at times. At the start, Alice could not be heard because of the loudness of the music.

Love the easy way of booking tickets through the app. Loved the venue, it’s all and intimate. Midge Ure was awesome and still sounds on point after all these years.
