I've been using Tier1 for all my computer needs for years and have never been disappointed. The only time a product was malfunctioning upon delivery, it was replaced within 2 days. Otherwise, no problems with the products I have received.

No support - Dont want an email 'paper trail' to prove anything..
Talk is cheap. And Tier1's is, from my experience also meaningless so you have been warned. Placed an order on 9th Feb, sitting on an oil rig - 3 to 5 working days will get the laptop to me when I am home for a week. Wednesday the following week comes and nothing and they dont reply to emails. Called and they said they had tried to contact me by email and I should check my spam - my fault, obviously. I'm a tech guy. I do that 'every' day and empty it. Nobody sent any emails. Guaranteed me when I called Thursday that it'd be with me Friday (Lies). DPD is delivering Monday by which time I'll be on a rig so wont be home to receive it and suprise, suprise nobodys answering the emails I send. N-e-v-e-r again. First and last time trusting this lot...

Happy with the value, quality and delivery. Support leaves something to be desired. I had a problem during the initial setup so rang customers services but was told that the techy was out at lunch. I carefully described the issue but, the next day, received an email that didn't address the problem at all. Had the techy bothered to call me this would have been obvious.

Happy with my refurbished laptop.h
I recently bought a refurbished laptop grade C. I was a bit worried that the markings on the laptop would be significant, but I was extremely happy with my purchase. There was one mark on the case, but the laptop was in very good condition. I spent a few hours setting it up, which was easy (I am definitely not tech savvy). I purchased the laptop on Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday morning packaged very well. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again with confidence.

I was initially skeptical, as I could not see a used laptop in person. But it's come in great condition. Only marks were able to be wiped away, so it looks brand new.
