Superb customer service
I bought a laptop from Tier 1 a couple of months ago but it wasn't really what I wanted. I rang them to discuss replacing it and without question they said I could have a full refund. They then advised me which laptop I would need and supplied it. Then the power cable to the new laptop didn't work and they supplied a replacement the next day. The member of staff I dealt with, Lucas, could not have been more helpful, so thank you very much.

Bought a Thinkpad X1 Yoga, had some issues with waking it up from sleep, Tier1 responded quickly and hot swapped it like for like within 1 day, great service.
Have had a lot of laptops from Tier1, this is maybe the second issue in 15 years..

I needed a new tower PC as my 10 year old machine was creaking and complaining. I was able to obtain what is, to me, a nice upgrade on what I had before, and is in very good condition. The options and ordering was a breeze, the prices are excellent and the delivery was fast and safe. Five stars!

Hundreds of pounds for a laptop that doesn't work
Read the terms and conditions carefully! They don't guarantee the batteries on their refurbished laptops after the first month. I set up my new laptop but didn't have chance to use it much for the first couple of months, and as soon as I began to use it properly it kept shutting down while I was in the middle of working. I contacted them but they said it was not covered by any warranty or guarantee - so I have spent hundreds of pounds on a laptop that does not work.
