Took our 72yr old, blind neighbour out and as she has a blue badge we displayed that on the dashboard. Got a parking charge notice from TPS and if paid in 14 days would be £40 or £70 if later. We appealed with copy of the blue badge but it was rejected. What is the point of having blue badges and disabled bays if mercenaries like these are going to rip people off. Something needs to be done about these companies to stop them preying on the old, disabled and vulnerable people like our blind 72yr old neighbour. It would break her heart to hear our good deed had cost us, we can never tell her but will know not to use parking run by these heartless thieves in the future 🤬

Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting company!

Legalised robbery. Charged £100 for over staying by 9 minutes because my daughter had to deal with an emergency at work. Letter giving me the ''final chance to pay at reduced rate'' arrived the day after the cut off date. Letter implied that it was 3rd demand, but no previous letter received and these are not the sort of things you stick at the bottom of your pending tray. Scammers masquerading as legitimate business people. These sort of scams sum up what is wrong with this country. Run by spivs for the benefit of spivs.

Disgusting company would give 0 stars if allowed. Windscreen wipers stopped working on van whilst raining, so stopped at Halfords to try and resolve issue. Apparently stayed longer than allowed fixing the issue so received a PCN through the post. Rip off scam artists. Every other review says the same thing. Company should be ashamed of themselves!

Giving me a parking fine for parking at my gym carpark which I've been told I'm allowed to do! Been going to the gym for two years + and never forgot to put my reg in the parking system so I don't know why I would've that day. The gym confirmed i was in gym at the alleged time but they don't have access to the car systems. Joke of a company trying to charge extortionate amounts for parking in their "private carpark" they let other businesses use for clientele, which I am 🙄 I have appealed and over a week later still waiting a response. Doubt I'll get anywhere but they're trying to charge £40 for the hour I was in the gym! My monthly gym membership isn't even that much!

I paid for parking by phone at the end of September for my 2 hours in Gorleston High Street Norfolk. Received a fine some 2 weeks later for £100. Appealed and sent proof of card payment. Heard absolutely nothing until a week before Christmas - a text message from debt collectors DRP Ltd demanding £170 !! - I was advised that i needed to pay or get legal assistance. According to the debt collection company a letter was posted and an email was sent out on different dates giving me the option to pay £20 as i apparently made an error inputting the registration number. I NEVER RECEIVED EITHER CORRESPONDENCE? I tried to contact Total Car Parks but they refused to discuss the matter and said it was now in the hands of the Debt Collectors. Due to the whole stressful situation i reluctantly ended up paying the Collectors a sum of £139.. Absolutely disgusting - I will never use Total Car Parks again. They must be making a fortune from
innocent people who key in their reg numbers incorrectly! Disgusting!

They keep sending a final demand for my my partner who died of cancer on the 10th January there is no phone number to inform them of this just a number to pay the fine disgraceful company

Lack of payment signs on entry. Full of potholes. No response to queries. Rip off. Avoid where possible!

I paid what I thought was the correct fee to park in there car park. I drive a small van no bigger than an average family car. Apparently the terms and conditions CLEARLY STATE!! that anything above an M1 class vehicle needs to Pay a higher fee. My small van should apparently pay the same fee as a minibus or motorhome. I have owned a small van for many years and have never experianced this before. I did not think I had to study in detail their small terms and conditions board. Pointless appeal process. Unable to contact the company. They hide behind the annonimity of the internet to conduct their grubby little business. Vile company so typical of what this government seems to be encouraging. Where are trading standards to protect us from these companies who seem to operate at the very edge of legality.

Total scam artists making lots of money out of gym clients! No empathy appeal process is waste of time . When will these greedy companies be called to account

We parked in Total Car Parks Isca Place queen street Exeter.
Please be aware to make sure you take a photo of the reg that you enter on the ticket machine and also keep your ticket for future reference. We did all the machine asked and it accepted it. Surely if only part of the reg was entered it would reject it. What a bloody nightmare.We paid for 3 hours parking and arrived back well within are time. A few days later we received a Parking Charge notice for one hundred pounds .
Luckily we had the ticket and sent a photo to them but they still fined us Twenty pounds . I feel there machines should be updated what a rip off.

Was issued with a parking charge notice for allegedly parking for 6 hours at a B&Q store in Inverness (I visited twice that day and the CCTV didn’t pick this up). Following an appeal the charge was cancelled “as a gesture of goodwill” 🤣🤣

Do not pay to use car park I’ve have 2 van windows smashed a 4 grand bike nicked and tools and no one’s seen anything it’s a joke had to repay for tools so everyone don’t pay just park for free just get this company disbanded as they are a joke

Total rip off. Parked for Christmas lighting after hours and they still issue a PCN.
Surely, the penalties are to ensure that there is parking during shop/business hours, BUT after hours its just a money making scam.

Let’s get the matter of any parking company business straight. They are acting on behalf of whoever is paying them to manage the land cars are being parked upon. If you notice in the photos of evidence, they will add the legal contact that’s on display that you agree to by parking your vehicle on ‘their’ property. (Not the car parking management company). Personally I’m of the opinion that charging people to park at hospitals, including hospital staff is morally wrong & a huge social injustice. The very fact that millions of pounds of public money for the NHS in terms of people not being able to access their appointments by NOT being able to find/access a suitable parking space (being turned away ‘cos they are late) again is wholly unacceptable & I’m sure in this respect there will be some people will have missed ‘important’ life saving diagnostic appointments due to not being able to park/ missing an appointment due to parking issues. Call these companies what you want, but they are just doing their job - It’s whoever owns the land that should be targeted - it’s those people that are profiteering from the car parking charges, the management companies just get a cut from the fine. So…… who owns the car parks at the hospitals ?… Was the land sold off to an unscrupulous private company (maybe a deal made for building/ maintenance works to the hospital ?) - I’m more than aware that legislation to address the exorbitant fines and underhand tactics used is due to become law, but if the green paper is the final draft then I’m of the opinion the new legislation does not go far enough and leaves far too many loopholes for the underhand/ untrustworthy car parking companies to operate. As for TPS - well done - you did your job - you’ll get your cut from the proceeds of the fine/ transaction. Just to let you know that I got my diagnosis, had to park where I did as there was nowhere else ( I’d driven around for a good 15 mins - making me 30 mins late for the consultants appointment - luckily they saw me & didn’t cancel).
Whatever is happening at Pinderfields Hospital car parking needs urgent review & action. It’s clear that demand is not matched with capacity, so inappropriate ( notice I don’t use the word illegal) parking is inevitable. Therefore increasing the numbers of PCN’s as NHS customers really don’t have much choice if they want to keep their appointment.
I notice that there are no replies to any other criticisms or praise (I know there isn’t any) - however it would be nice if you could reply to this positive criticism of the service you provide in order to allay a lot of misconceptions that you don’t care, are just cash orientated leeches on society and you don’t recognize the human element to the business you’re in. Can anyone provide evidence of a successful appeal where you’ve listened and held your hand up and declared ‘SORRY’ we got it wrong on that occasion ( with the added usual of ‘lessons have been learned’. So TPS please feel free to discuss & leave a comment to my review, tell me I’m misinformed, misguided or telling untruths. I look forward to your comment(s).

Atrocious! If I could give zero star, I would. How can you justify giving Hospital Staff parking tickets? We are there to provide a valuable service to our patients. Just unfair! And, you deface our windscreens with your sticker. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Pity can’t give no stars. This company is nothing more than a progression from the clampers they used to be. They are there purely to cause misery while their boss lives it up… staff are obnoxious to the extreme, and NO I’m not paying, you made the mistake not I. Was over 200 miles from where you said I was and a totally different vehicle. Doh!

Parked in Boddingtons Manchester, always parked here but now it’s all automated. Put in right ref, paid right fee. Bank statements and texts messages received to say payment received yet we still received a parking charge notice !! Will update as just sent in appeal 😡

UPDATE
Surprise, surprise they found our payment. No apology or anything just a bill for £20 so recoup their costs for getting our details from DVLA. If it was t for belong the lead up to Christmas and me being a worry wart I would have contested this payment but we couldn’t be bothered with the hassle over the Christmas period and paid the £20. We will never, ever park there again and have done so for about 15 years. We are now also reluctant to head to Manchester City centre and park up. We’ll either catch the train or go elsewhere.
