Received a parking fine and tried to pay online. The site had no links to pay the fine. I kept searching and found a link via Google Search. I paid the fine but received no confirmation. I tried their phone number to confirm, but their automated system didn't recognise the reference number.
I'm surprised that national brands would contract with a company with such poor technical infrastructure. Gemini should do much, much better.

So confusing ....I paid for a totally different car park despite following the instructions on the sign..

I purchased an annual parking permit for Wicksteed Park which in which the parking is managed by Total Parking Solutions in March and then for the past 3 mths I was receiving 1 parking ticket a month. I appealed, sent in evidence of my annual permit and yet they took an forever to even respond and more tickets kept arriving. It has now taken numerous emails, phonecalls and finally a letter sent recorded delivery for this shambles of a company to respond. No apology whatsoever in fact they wrote telling me as a "goodwill" gesture they will scrap the charges....I think damn right I have already paid for the year!! I cannot say one positive thing about this company not one. They are awful please avoid doing any business with them as they will cause you problems and your customers.

Do NOT use this car parking company. They’re liars and they’re absolutely disgusting, they have no sense of compassion whatsoever. They take photos of the inside of your car also! So I’d strongly urge you to park elsewhere even if it costs a little extra!

Robbing had to park close to the front of hospital as my 85 year old uncle struggles to walk and also is wearing a catheter at the moment. Have been stuck in ward 17 at arrowe park for 2hrs came back down and there was the ticket. Left to go home then had to bring him back half an hour later but parked a good distance away. Well when I got to the main entrance of hospital there were at least 15 cars parked along side each other exactly were I had parked.

I have used the Boddingtons car park for many years, this is first time since unmanned with the barriers removed. I find the whole situation unscrupulous that if you remove the manned operation and leave no method of paying you must be issuing a lot of PCN's. I am not sure many businesses would profit from operating like this unless they can bully customers into paying over the top undue penalties.

Vile company! Their signs are 2,000 word dissertations in order to deflect you from looking at them. I got a fine this morning despite no cars around me having bought a ticket either (because I walked through the whole car park and couldn't find a machine ANYWHERE!)

The sign said 'See Tariff for 2 Hours Free Parking' - What tariff? Where? This information is not on the sign because they purposely don't want people to pay for parking so they can fine them nearly £100.

Awful company. Tried to charge me for parking in a gym car park I am a member and go to daily. One day an iPad hasn't registered my car and they won't withdraw the charge. I keep appealing they barely respond, when you call they can only take payments so just hang up when you need help with something else. Now I have received a letter that it has been passed to legal to collect the debt when they haven't even responded to my appeal?! How can companies like this exist legally.

the signage is meant to catch you out. first time used there Gorleston on sea car park signage says first hour free still they charged for it only there 20min , second time the pay machine out of order and there web app did not work so got fine as there 11 min over the hour . will never use them again or go to gorleston

Absolute cowboys. Got issued a parking fine at Surrey uni despite having valid ticket which was displayed correctly.

Emailed evidence numerous times they send standard reply saying my appeal rejected. Absolute cowboys. Obviously I haven’t paid it.

I’ve been emailing owners Of this scam company directly and will continue to bombard them, as they have me to see how they like it.

This company needs closing down. I’ve reported to watchdog . Perhaps if enough do they will be rightly investigated and shut down.

Tried to fine for use of private parking space that we own. Hugely difficult to deal with, taking ages to respond to correspondence and unreasonably denying our “appeal” to use our own legally owned parking space. Threatening letters.

They're a parking company profiting from the public with unreasonable fines.How would they score more than a one! I was parked in the car park and using the facilities as a paying customer and charged £40 for the privilege! When I asked who their client was so I could question them, they declined my request. What a miserable job they have.

Thieves and liars

Failed to acknowledge our license plate was 1 digit out so thereby failing to comply with the law that states quite clearly that fine should be thrown out (as of January 2020).

Failed to acknowledge that their machines are often faulty, and that this was partly the problem. Human errors are, apparently, not permitted.

Failed to provide any correction and/or any instruction of correcting errors on their (by design) faulty machines.

Claimed our input error was 'major' and that entirely different license plate was inputted.

Failed to disclose said 'entirely different license plate'. (remember that the onus on proof is on the claimant, not the defendant).

Failed to uphold the 'goodwill gesture' of £20 (after acknowledging minor input error) and actually increased the fine from £40 to £70 on their website and failed to return our phone calls when we tried several times to inform them of this.

Failed to acknowledge photographic evidence of this failure to uphold promised reduced fine, taken from their own website, instead called us on the final day of 'offer' - at 5pm - requesting that we retract our appeal with POPLA, knowing full well that we could do nothing about it at that hour.

Failed to acknowledge or confirm whether they lost any money from this 1 digit incorrect input, which is also a valid basis for an argument; and one I will be using when we go to court.

Most certainly in bed with POPLA, as these liars and thieves are able to demand money when proof of payment was already given via bank statement at the outset.

Just don't use these car parks - I won't ever again.

I am writing this review about a company that cares less about their customers ( drivers) and more about profits. I have received a letter with “Pay Now” for a parking charge I have paid, they have hounded me for this money even though I’ve paid this and have a receipt for full payment! The total lack of customer care and respect for us is disgusting!! Trying to get more money out of a person whom has paid. I contacted them and their weak and stupid response is amazing, hopefully with enough bad reviews they will be investigated for their ways of operation. Stay clear of this profiteering and racketeering company they are the lowest of the low who only care about money ! Shame on you “Total P” !!!

Do not use these car parks. I have proof of online payment and as far as I am concerned the 2x £100 fine letters I have been sent are nothing more than an illegal way of trying to scare people to pay money. This has happened to me before so I am not taking it seriously at all. The ombudsman dealt with my complaint last time and I won so please anyone worrying who has proof of payment, put in your dispute and if letters carry on go straight to ombudsman. Nothing more than crooks, don't be bullied into parting with hard earned money!!

Private car park in Rye. Machine rejected credit card in slot 3 times. Downloaded App. Used the same credit card to pay. Time elapsed trying to pay about 15 minutes. Have receipts for payments including extra charge for using app to pay plus vat. Received penalty payment notice for not paying in full for time parked! Designed to look like a regulatory authority notice and no vat element shown. Corresponded by email and included receipts for correct payment. They have now handed the "case" to BWIlegal who seem to be another disreputable company extorting money. Research shows this to be the habitual way of operating and effectively exhorting money with apparent impunity. Companies house records and social media reveal directors and their lifestyles. All relevant bodies, which includes, the Financial Conduct Authority, British Parking Association, the DVLA, trading standards, the ICO (information commissioner’s office), InAction Fraud and HMRC should take some responsibility for bringing these two companies and their directors to book.

I too join the multitude of people who are disgusted at these scammers. I have just paid a fine which is not due but I feel intimated despite fighting it since August. Why isn't this company being shut down, surely there's enough people here who feel the same yet despite this they continue their appalling practise. I am taking this to my MP.....

UPDATE ON TOTAL PARKING........................Since paying my parking ticket fine witch realy i shouldunt of had.....my appeal declined even with proof of paid ticket...no response from TPS at all.just threats of court action and bailifs if my fine not paid with in certain time...though my "fine" offerd at a discounted price??,,,,,,this company should be shut down...who i wonder is allowing this company to continue to trade..would be nice if the company would comunicte instead of hideing behind close doors
