Parked at Becton Triangle, London for 15 minutes in a virtually empty carpark and had 1 wheel over what was left of the white line, £60 fine, normally really careful about staying in the lines but the emptiness lured me in Certainly won't be shopping there ever again, I'll order on line like everyone else. These places are going to be ghost malls in a very short while with this attitude.

I parked at Tritton Retail Park,,,On Trittan Road, LINCOLN on Monday 17th June. This was to visit Curry`s department store IT team which is in the precinct, along with other major stores,. I parked my wife's car carefully as it is a 24 plate car. I am a named driver for the car. I made sure it was well inside the white lines all round, as I always do. I visited Curry's store to talk to their tech team regarding a problem I was having with a laptop I purchased from the same Curry's at Tritton road on Friday 14th June. I had the laptop with me. And the problem was satisfactory solved in store by Curry's IT team. This took around 25 to 30 minutes. First class service,I was very pleased.. Then I returned to my wife car, and drove home.
Yesterday, Saturday the 22nd June, my wife received a letter from UKPC with a fine of £100 or £60, if paid straight away. The letter stated that the driver had LEFT the site designated for customer parking only, on the 17th June???? ER I WAS IN CURRYS, I NEVER LEFT THE SITE, there was included with the letter a photograph of my wife's car parked up correctly. No photo of myself going anywhere.
So this morning Sunday 23rd June, I drove to Tritton retail park, and again parked at the same car park on Tritton Road, and visited Curry's again as soon as they opened at 10am .
I explained to the manager at Curry's what had occurred, as regards the false parking fine etc,
The staff remembered me, from the date I purchased the lap top, AND when I visited the store on the 17th June, the manager took a photo copy of the letter from UKPC. He has informed me if my appeal letter to UKPC is not solved to my satisfaction to inform himself. Stores in this precinct are going to loose many store purchasing customers, because of this company sending out bogus parking fines to shoppers. I can prove I was in Currys on that day with the help of Curry's manager, UKPC please prove I left Tritton retail car park on foot on that date, you can not because I didn't. No wonder high street stores are closing at such an alarming rate. Shoppers beware at TRITTON ROAD RETAIL PARK, LINCOLN.

UKPC gave me a ticket for parking in my own space. They were supported in this scam by DCB Legal.

Family meal at McDonald's finished with 50 quid each for parking my brother appeal but no response, only payment reminder. Disgusting money making company.

Terrible company. Slow, incompetent and operating in an illegal manner.
PCNs issue for people parking on their own driveways meaning a warden had to trespass in order to take the useless photos.
They don't answer email complaints, they successfully appeal one charge but not a second for exactly the same thing. You have no option to speak to anyone at any stage. Utter nonsense. I honestly don't know how this company is in existence. Terrible to the core.

Its written maximum 3 hours and then they gave me PCN becasue this is for particular store buyers, what the hell I been there for like 30 mins , stand and check the dates of store . and flyed back to my home and they gave me the PCn what the hell . I have checked they reviews that they are not gone help even when you appeal . and in the end I have paid 60 pounds because of fear it gone take far more . BUt they just robbed money , they can sent the letter to who ever they want without anything and they will reject the pcn appeal and in the end you have to pay . This is so mad . those are big robberers , I am selling my car now . no point to have a car in this stupid country ... where is so much unfair . and they are corrupt ppl on top who run this organisation

These are scammers pure and simple. The car park owner gets UKPC to extort the money and they in turn pass the business to another bunch of sharks if they don't get satisfaction. I appealed 'unsuccessfully' but the penalty was nevertheless reduced from 100 to 60pounds: my interpretation is they know in they are in the wrong but will try a smaller amount in the hope of getting into 'life's too short' territory. Anyway, there is an election looming and it is worth noting that H.M. Government was supposed to introduce a new code of practice to clamp down on these blatant swindles during this parliament. This got as far as being tabled in Feb. 2023 but never happened because of ferocious lobbying from the Car Park business. With sitting MPs desperate to hold their seats and equally desperate opposition candidates trying to take them, there has never been a better time to get this back on track. So, I suggest everyone who has contributed to this page writes to their MP and asks what happened to the new code of practice?

A total shambles. Don't bother appealing. They play games. You have been warned. This country is broken. Totally......

This company shouldn't be in business because they extort money from pensioners who have paid their way and worked hard all their lives ,.
They use people who hide and are afraid to show themselves for fear of being know ,,,cowards I say

I Appealed 2 PCN's as they say my car was parked somewhere and its not even the name of the road my car was on in the image. I had a conformation email for both PCNs caying appeal recieved now debt collection want money. I wish they would just get on with it and take me to court or go away. The email says I should call if no response in 35days however when you call there is no option to talk to anyone. They now have told debt collectors they did not recieve my appeal which is completely contrary to the email I recieved from THEM saying they had. PLEASE PLEASE just take me to court if you want money. So unprofessional.

Leaches. I stopped on hashed yellow lines behind M&S to have a drink of water, me and my daughter, for 1 minute and 46 seconds and they sent me a 60 pounds fine. AFTER the 14 days early pay discount (that would have been 40 pounds). And to appeal is very difficult and you pay the whole 100 pounds if they reject. No way to speak with someone on the phone as all automated. I hope they burn in hell.

Received a fine, made an appeal immediately on their website and received an acknowledgement saying we would hear back in 35 days. No response 2 months later but now received a debt recovery letter for three times as much. No option on phone line to speak to anyone despite acknowledgment letter saying to ring if no response to appeal received.

They charged me with no reason and put “didnt park between bays” when the picture shows I parked completely in bay. They money making scammers. we pay parking charge and yet they go around with their stupid machines looking for excuses to charge customers with. They sent me a final reminder when I never even received the first 2 letters? Where is the justice in this? Btw UKPC have done this to my family members also in the past. Please get rid of this company ASAP. They so poor they stealing money off genuine customers.

do not reply to you discrimination against disabled person

I was charged for parking a commercial vechile. Which is not an offence to drive a van and visit friends. I also had a valid permit. They took photos of everything excluding the dash where a permi was sitting. They then sent some correspondence much later. I received 2 penalties as I was staying at friends house with a valid resident permit. After appealing they to them they automatically denied the first appeal but on the second charge they didn't respond to the appeal so I never received an opportunity to appeal to popla. The first charge they dropped immediately popla got involved after initially denying it. The other charge they set up a polpla code but didn't respond to my appeal. Then then sent it straight to debt collectors. Saying the time has expired to appeal. I have a record of all emails and they didn't send a response. They are finding new ways to extort money out of people. It's frustrating and traumatic. Leaves people with no or little options. For something that was never an offence They a criminals and should face crimal charges. Then they harass you with debt collectors letters.

I received a charge for ' failing to display'. I parked there many times and always paid and displayed. On this particular occasion, I was in a hurry because of a personal crisis and paid cash, rushed to display the ticket, but must have popped it the wrong way. I was totally shocked when I received this 2 days ago and, as it was received more than a month after the actual charge ( although yhe letter was dated15/6/23) I could not pay the lesser charge ( which I tried to do to avoid the hassle ) but had to pay the full charge. I earn less than £1000 a month on average, don't claim any benefits because I have savings, which I obviously have to use to pay expenses, and feel really angry that I have been charged such an extortionate amount when I have paid diligently every time I have parked. People have told me it is a waste of time appealing. My sister ( who is disabled) tried to appeal against a parking charge and was pretty much told tough luck... you'll have to pay.
The small, law abiding person gets hammered repeatedly, it seems.
I have paid the £70 but have been robbed by this parking company. I have to work so hard to earn what I receive and it is devastating to have to pay this. I have paid because I can't deal with any more stress in my life but this is really wrong.
