My WhisperKool wine cellar split unit failed after installation. After much troubleshooting, the installation technician recommended that a completely new unit be installed. WhisperKOOL’s customer service personnel shipped out a new system at their expense, even though it remains possible that the problem was with the installation rather than the unit.
Once the original unit was sent back to the factory, it was stated that there was no problem found, which put me in an awkward situation between the manufacturer and the installation technician. However, after some negotiations, we got the issue resolved.
WhisperKOOL stood behind their product. My new unit works beautifully, and I trust it to keep my cellar in optimum conditions for years
Shipping was delayed due to Covid 19 which delayed installation. I understand, but was frustrated.
Great customer service in going over the specifications of my cellar to insure of ordering the proper unit. Easy installation and setup and unit is functioning beautifully.
Very smooth transaction all the way through!
Can I give this company 10 stars???? Their customer service is above and beyond great. They stand behind their products. I wouldn't buy from anyone else.

The new Whisperkool SC 4000 Pro arrived in less than a week and in perfect condition. I can't believe how much quieter is is than the XLT4200 that it replaced.
My new unit is 50% quieter and seems more efficient. My customer service rep, Cindi Bent was polite, knowledgable and concise. She made the whole interaction quick and painless.

I experienced a problem with a wire connector on my WhisperKool 8000. I reached out to Cindi and she was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem and in promptly shipping a replacement part.
The unit worked well for the first 5 years the it got clogged up and could not maintaine the correct tempeture. I have bought a new unit and it seam to be working well. WhisperKOOL tells me it can be repaired so I want to send it back so i can have a spare unit.
Unit would not start up. Found loose factory wire nut that wires had slipped out of. Tried to call for service and was informed to leave message. Not good when you have a tech on site trying to figure out and repair. Time is money.
Left message at 1:00 PM on 11-27-19 and did not receive a call back.
Whoever wired in the 24V thermostat conversion kit probably caused the problem at the 110V terminal strip.

I’ve owned several units over the years and have had some success. However, the latest one they sent me was a lemon. They believe that cooling to 71°, less than a 10° variance from the outer room, is acceptable. They wouldn’t give me a full credit for the broken unit. Charged me 25%. A nightmare of poor customer service and unfortunately cheaply built products.
A lesson learned. Never again.
I have had nothing but trouble with my units. The first one consistently failed to cool sufficiently despite having technically more capacity than required. The replacement unit appeared to already have mold in it and still failed to cool. It was suggested that I purchase a larger max unit. This unit cools but the control panel doesn't work. I have spent a lot of money installing three of these units, including twice paying for shipping, and still I do not have a workable unit. This seems ridiculous to me. I
