Usually they are pretty quick in my experience, but what’s with the holding instant debit card payments they receive until the next business day?! It shows as pending so you clearly have the money, so just give it to me already. That type of stuff is what makes me so livid... Holding money just because they can!

Wingspan was very easy to use. The process was quick and easy. The user interface was easy to navigate. Overall I would recommend using Wingspan.

PROS
* It pays your quarterly taxes for you although you have to set it up correctly and remember to tell the system "yes I want to pay now."

* they give you some guidance but you decide exactly how much money (%) to withhold from each paycheck to save for quarterly taxes.

* They have been more responsive recently than they were in the past. Support still has some room for improvement. For example, not all of the agents understand the system and some do not communicate effectively via email.

* transferring money to your bank account is easy, although it is slow compared to other financial institutions and because of poor website usability it's difficult to track when the transaction will take place or if it has taken place.

CONS
* Usability is poor. Much of the website is designed for employers and there is relatively little information for independent contract workers and it's difficult to find that information. The search function is not helpful, the navigation panels and menus are not intuitive, and it's difficult sometimes to differentiate between information for employers versus information for independent contract workers until you have read some of the document.

I communicated with Wingspan several months ago about this issue and even recorded a 3–4 minute video demonstrating how difficult it is to find information on the website. But the website had not changed since that communication several months ago even though they said they were actively updating the site to improve usability.

Avoid at costs. Difficult company to deal with on every level.

Cant get any answers regarding process and payemnt and billing process. Poor User experience

Wingspan will not pay me! I work for Working Solutions who uses Wingspan for payroll. Last night I should have gotten paid. Instead I got an email that my bank refused my payroll. I changed it, same thing. 6 payment methods later...same thing. They are now telling me that it's ANOTHER hidden company they use to actually pay people through instant. I've been fighting with them for over 24 hours! I AM NO CLOSER, In fact they're telling me that I HAVE to change to standard...even though they offer instant and I've always used it. My bills are set to those pay dates. They don't care. But I now I don't trust them to believe if I do that I'll get it then. Seems much more likely that they will just keep playing my money. THIS SHOULD BE A CRIME! Do yourself a favor and don't use this company or they screw over your employees!!!!

Edited to add that I did get my paycheck. I just forgot to update. It did take a lot of complaining and up until the moment it went through I was being told that it would take days. When we work this hard at the job we shouldn't have to beg for a paycheck. I am very grateful that they got it to work, though! My current paycheck did come through without a fight so let's just hope we can continue this way! Thank you for getting it done!

It is simple to understand, simple to use, smooth in function to operate. Wish all of the venders I work for would use such a simple, fast integrated system to use.

It took too long to fix the problem. more than 24 hours. The support person did not thoroughly analyze the problem for offering suggestions. First he said it was what I keyed in, and then a second suggestion, and then more suggestion. I clearly told him what the problems were in my first email.

I get paid through Wingspan by my employer, a catering company. Payments have been on time and the process to access pay stubs and tax forms is simple. I just started using it, but so far the experience has been smooth.

I work as a contractor for a tech company. They switched to Wingspan about 6 months ago and it's been a nightmare. Never before did I have to pay attention to my invoices. Now I have to be meticulous. I now have to spend time daily and monthly messing with this inept, low quality payroll service. It's supposed to be automatic. I have several hundred invoices every month and they are consistently wrong in the payment totals. They don't enter them in in any orderly way either- not by date, invoice number, not alphabetically- it is completely random- what a PIA. The invoices are not entered daily either. They seem to do them randomly/maybe in batches, but not all of them. Last month they were off by several thousand dollars on my payment and were a few weeks late. I hear it's even worse for my colleagues in countries outside the US with conversion, payments to accounts, etc- even for Canada or UK. This is the worst payment system I've ever experienced!

The company I'm affiliated with, GFI, recently switched to Wingspan for payroll. I accessed the platform to look up information for my taxes. The site was very user-friendly, and I was able to quickly and easily find everything I was looking for without any hassle. Everything was organized clearly, which made the process smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a great experience, and I appreciate how simple Wingspan makes managing payroll.

Terrible platform. I called their customer support and it took +40 minutes to receive an answer for a basic question about money withdrawal. The platform is not really useful and more acts as a middleman to leech off some money from both employer and employee. Even for the call that I gave them I was charged $40. They can't afford to have a Toll-free number and I was charged long distance for the call.

It's easy to access the site.
I got my first paycheck deposited into my account today already.
It was also easy to set up the Wingspan account.

Wingspan has been instrumental in my invoice tracking. I love the flexible payment options and the UI overall. My favorite part is the event tracking and timestamps I can see within some invoices so I can see the flow of approval. This is an amazing platform for self-employed go-getters!

Wingspan is fast and reliable. I received my invoice pertaining to my check in good time. I’m a satisfied customer.

My work uses Wingspan, and I am right now yet again, waiting for my payroll with no idea how much or when I'm going to see it. It for some reason gets a little later every check. It was 6:30PM, then 8:30ishPM, now I'm at almost 9:30PM and not understanding why they cannot be consistent.

Wingspan is a great platform. It make signing documents for my contracting company easy. It simplify tasks and make adding payment methods a breeze. On my first time using platform I was able to verify myself using QR code. I like the phone feature. I like the platform can be use on tablet, iPhone or windows pc.
