The company installed a gas hob
The company installed a gas hob. Worktop cut out was already cut out and gas pipework local to hob needed modifying to suit new hob connection. The work was completed satisfactory and all tested and working OK, however the fitter took 2.75 hours to carry out the work which is extremely excessive but at £110 plus VAT per hour means they charged £378.60 for a simple job. This is exorbitant and i would not use them again.

Our minimum estimate for hob installations is typically 1–2 hours. On this occasion, the job did take longer than average at 2.75 hours. This was due to the pipework adjustment being awkward because of access, and when refitting the oven there was a 10mm protrusion which meant our engineer had to further adjust the base units and pipework to ensure the oven could fully fit back into its housing.
These kinds of adjustments fall outside of a standard hob installation, which is why the job took longer than expected. We always aim to be transparent and carry out work to the highest standards, ensuring everything is safe, tested, and working correctly before we leave.

Leaking concealed cistern
Had a leaking concealed cistern that was tiled. I thought that the whole of the front would have to be removed and the tiles damaged. Somehow Ronan and James managed to replace the cistern without any damage. Great job.
