Had a problem regarding cash back amount for a recent Wickes offer, contacted themand it was very quickly resolved and the correct cashback was added to my account.

I've used this platform for years…
I've used this platform for years through my work and made some amazing savings on things I was going to be buying anyway. It recently switched over to Boost Works and I had the same positive experience as before until I tried to purchase a gift card which never arrived after taking payment. Fortunately after a phone call everything was refunded within a few days and the person on the phone was very helpful. Leaving 4 stars rather than 5 as I was a but disappointed that the error happened in the first place, but was very happy that everything was resolved so quickly.

Is it any wonder that over 70% of reviews are one star and most would give zero or negative if they could.
Disgraceful service. I purchased £300 worth of Argos vouchers on Thursday and it said instant delivery. It is Saturday and I have received nothing.
I called on Thursday but they had a training day and were not available on the phone all day. What kind of incompetent company is this? I don't blame the front line staff. The owners of the company should be barred from running any companies again. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I spoke to someone on Friday and they said I would receive a refund on Friday or Monday. I definitely want a refund and will never deal with this company again. I had to purchase my goods because it was urgent and thus have had to pay for the goods. I WANT MY MONEY BACK YOU FRAUDS!
The company sells vouchers but the irony is they don't sell anything! They just take your money and sit on it for a few days gaining interest and then issue you a refund. I think this is their business model. Take millions from people, gain interest for a few days to pay an income to the owners and then refund the money back. I do not think they possess vouchers and are just making it up. Looks like a scam to me.
Rather than making your front line staff undergo training why don't you make the owners undergo a level 1 certificate in customer service or a GCSE in business studies?
I hope this company closes down soon.

Seems these guys have taken a lot of money from people with no warning, £37 has expired from my account, it’s only a few months since my company swapped from perkpal(they never took any money!), my balance now shows -£12 my last £50 voucher cost me £62, I’ve contacted them and Lewis passed my email to the Finance team on the 10th April, well I would imagine it’s them taking the money so I’m still waiting for my reply!

Greedy, avoid using this service
They removed £70 from my balance and when I contacted them they just copy pasted a generic response about a 12 month expiry. I’ve been a user of perkpal/boostworks since July 2021 and have never come across this issue before.
They claim the 12 month expiry is in the T&Cs and were advertised on the website. Looking at other reviews this has clearly effected a lot of people and the change was not notified to users.
The 'exired' balance was accumulated over several years and randomly removed without warning, not a rolling 12 month period as they claim.
It appears like a secretive, greedy and badly thought out money grab. Boost works already made their cut the historical transactions and now they're stealing the user's portion.
I've had two support tickets open. After they closed the first ticket without resolution they promised a response from the manager within 2 days. This was over a week ago.
Avoid this company and use a better alternative. Talk to your work benefits organiser to switch supplier to a company that isn't going to rip you off and ignore you.

Hiding changes to T&Cs for their own financial gain. Failure to address complaint.

My employee switched to Boostworks from another company, in January 2024 (confirming that nothing was changing apart from the name). I had been using the scheme for years, with no issue. After the switch, the new app frequently failed to work and often had unavailability of digital vouchers. All of a sudden, they removed £98 accrued cashback from my account. This came after a very short notification period in March 2024. I was unable to take all of the cashback in this short period due to the problems with the app. No notice or warning was visible on the app.
I raised a complaint and contacted them to ask for this to be reinstated for a short period (or to have it issued as a one-off voucher). They send me a response stating that the validity period is stated in the terms and conditions, which I "will have accepted in order to use [their] service". This applied from December 2023 [Note: a period which my company was not using them, so I could not have been privy to this information] and I can read the terms and conditions "by logging into [their] service in a web browser and scrolling to the bottom of the homepage".
They have not investigated my complaint properly - their response contains fractural inaccuracies, a lack of understanding and empathy, and they have not even attempted to address my points in relation to their service.
They have provided inadequate notification of a change to the terms and conditions and they have unliterally changed the contract to the determent of their customers. They are clearly hiding this information from customers for their own financial gain.
Update: 16/04/2024 - still no response from my repeated communications. I still cannot check out and purchase any items, but they have no interest in fixing that. It has been over a month now where I cannot use the app to make any savings.
Update 17/04/2024 - response to Trustpilot review asks me to contact them directly to raise this issue. Doesn't seem appreciate that this has been raised time and time again, with only one very poor, half-hearted response as a fob-off.
Update 17/04/2024 - latest email trail resent including the reference you quoted in your response.
Update 19/04/2024 - Boostworks have now credited back the amount they debited (thank you for this) and have contacted me to try to understand the technical issues I have been experiencing, to improve their service.

Absolute thieves
Absolute thieves, they took £160 off my account, no notification, no push message, nothing. Customer service (if you can call it that) will just send you a copy and pasted reply and not deal with you directly. Then they have the cheek to ask you how they did. Unbelievable!
Awful, awful company.
If you're a company thinking of using these con artists for your benefits package, seriously think twice. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I would give this company 0 stars if I could.
As many here have said, they hope you just forget about it and they can rob you of your money. Completely unethical business practice, we use the website to make use of the cashback.
Customer service is useless - they just copy and paste the same message up to the manager level.
My situation is slightly different - I have been buying gift cards from Oct 2020 to Nov 2022 - if their claim of 12 month expiry period is correct, then I would have started losing money from Oct 2021 onwards, which wasn't the case - I lost ALL of my balance on the 2nd of April. I think they introduced this 12 month expiry and hope people just let it slide and they can rob everyone.
If you're using them as part of your work benefit - please speak to HR or a responsible person to change your contracts to another provider - there are tons of them!

Where's my cashback
Asked for my cashback on 11 March - still no sign of it. What with the initial cashback debacle when they removed it without notice and then having my account suspended for 24 hours for a security check last week I will be stopping my CSSC membership (who I get the discounts through) as soon as I get my cashback. Also have access to Vivup who don't charge a membership and have much better discounts.

Appalling service. CSSC recently moved over to boostworks. There was a deadline to claim Cashback which I met. Over 2 weeks later no Cashback in my account. Was told to wait 10 days and this has been and gone. Suffice to say I’ll be using other Cashback companies in the future

I feel robbed...cashback expired!
I've been a member for nearly 10 years, last year the company changed from Peoplevalue to Boostworks, what I didn't realise was 3 months ago so did their T&Cs which I must have accepted.
Last night I find my cashback balance which had been building over a long period was £200+ short, my money has been wiped off my balance because it had expired and gone over a 12 month period!! Absolutely ridiculous!!
And now customer services can't do anything about it, apart from say it was in the T&Cs which you accepted.
I feel as if I've been robbed. Been building a cash balance for a rainy day and now it's gone.
A company that's there to help you save money......what a joke!!

Do NOT bother, rubbish
Like other reviewers I was an unhappy customer who lost a year's cashback. Customer service was really unhelpful. You can NEVER get through on the phone either. It's so difficult at the moment with bills everywhere, every penny counts. A company which is set up TO SAVE YOU MONEY but then doesn't help you. Complete waste of time. Would NOT recommend.
I would like to update this review to reflect the fact that after posting on Trustpilot I was contacted by the company and refunded the money. I have altered the review from 1 star to 3 stars as I thought that was fair.

The cashback credit expires after a year, with no warning by email or push notification. They just steal all the credit from you, which is unfair. The customer service was not helpful on this matter. Would not recommend.
