Pathetic service at Boots non-prescription medication counter. Customers are left to decay in a long queue while Boots staff attend to prescription patients. Same at all Boots stores I know of.

Paid for the prescription delivery…
Paid for the prescription delivery service for my elderly parents and prescriptions were never delivered despite complaining and being reassured that they would do better. This went on for 4 months before we changed pharmacy. Boots Pharmacy in Vine Health Centre, Street, Somerset.
Impossible to make telephone contact!
I can NEVER at any time contact the pharmacy team by phone. It rings but I have NEVER had an answer!
I have tried desperately to request urgent medicines with the support of my G.P and yet they have drastically failed on almost every occasion. Some of the medicines requested are to prevent a threat to loss of life, so how can Boots justify such a careless and reckless approach to its customers.
In this day and age of technical achievements, how is it that such a well known Pharmacy of size and stature are able to remain in the stone age when it comes to excelling in customer care.
They need reminding that it is not simply a business but a vital and essential service of care to their community that so many lives depend on.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would honestly say they struggle to achieve an honest 2, 10 being the best.
I will now be leaving this pharmacy but will escalate my complaint of utter disgust to someone higher in their chain of command to hopefully reach someone who is able to bring about positive change or at the very least to instigate an investigation to help remedy the problems to benefit everyone else before something serious happens!
Staff/service
Boos Farnborough gate.
I went to collect a prescription for my husband. The store opens at 10.30 on a Sunday, the queue was advised that the pharmacist would be 5 minutes late, that turned out to be 10, then she had to log on etc. The queue by this time was huge and when it got to me, I was informed that the prescription had been collected on the 8th July, the staff were very insistent that there was no medication to collect. They did look in the drawer. My husband went down himself and they continued to argue that it had been collected. Eventually after my husband asking a couple of times and showing his text message from Boots and the date of the text and asking for them to look in the drawers. They did look and what a surprise the tablets were there! Apparently they both claimed they hadn't worked there before! Was that an apology?

This review is about Stokesley Boots…
This review is about Stokesley Boots near Middlesbrough. Absolutely disgraceful rude behaviour from staff in this store today. I arrived at the shop today at around 1 pm to collect a prescription which I had been messaged to say it was ready to collect. When I arrived I noticed there was an ambulance outside the shop with its rear doors open. Not initially connecting the dots I went to push the door to Boots open but it was locked. I then noticed a paper sign on the door stating “ We are closed due to an emergency apologies. “ The store has a glass frontage and it appeared the ambulance staff were at the rear of the store dealing with a patient. The Boots staff about 4 or 5 of them appeared to be stood over the ambulance crew watching. Due to the fact that I only had a few of my tablets left and the fact I live nearly 25 to 30 minutes away from the shop ( an hour round trip), I thought I am here now I will just wait and see how this pans out . At least I was in the front of the queue and would be seen first once the shop reopened . Whilst I waited another lady joined me in the queue on the opposite side of the door. She too said she would rather wait after having to return from a previous visit. Ambulance staff came out of the store and took a trolley back in the store, then after around 20 minutes of me being there a lady was brought out of the store on a trolley by the ambulance crew. She was put in the rear of the ambulance. The Boots staff locked the door once again and then they all congregated at the rear of the store, and all began chatting. They continued to chat for a further 15 minutes maybe 20 and kept looking over towards the door where I was. In the time I stood their at least 20 other people came to the store and left because it was closed. Once the staff had all debriefed themselves , a female member of staff came to the door and opened it marginally , telling me they were dealing with an emergency and that someone had nearly died! She was extremely rude how she approached me as if I had no right to wait outside the shop. I told her it looked like the emergency was over as the patient had been in the back of the ambulance 15 minutes. I said the staff looked like they were all just talking. I told the female I was waiting for my prescription and I lived 30 minutes away so I would just wait. The female said “What’s your name and address? “ I told her and explained I had a prepay so there would be nothing for me to pay. The female went back inside the store and obviously had a moan to the other staff members. Minutes later an older female came to the door and, opening it half way and began shouting at me like I was a small child. She told me that I might not care, but they had been dealing with an emergency and someone could have died. At this I told the lady she was rude shouting at me when many members of the public were walking past ( This store being on the High Street)I said excuse me but I have waited patiently for the entire period stood patiently at the door and that at no point had I said I didn’t care about the lady in the ambulance. This was completely false and fabricated making me out to be something I wasn’t when all I did was stand their waiting for the store to reopen. The older staff member said the younger staff member told her I had said” I didn’t care about the female” This is all lies and made up. The lady who was stood in the queue with me confirmed this wasn’t a true account and gave me her name and phone number as a witness to what happened and what was said! This was appalling behaviour by the Boots staff in this store . They were rude and they clearly have integrity issues, telling lies! I 100% will be changing my chemist to Great Ayton as a result of this terrible experience. I have asked for a copy of their CCTV to prove what was said and done at the store. I will update with this if they give me a copy which I doubt they will!
Avoid these rude, lying, obnoxious staff at Stokesley Boots and go to Coopers in Great Ayton instead! Check out the reviews for this Boots store they generally say how poor the staff are! They don’t deserve the automatic referrals from the GP surgery in Stokesley!

Tried to log in for repeat prescription. Wouldn't accept my password, Tried to reset it and went to the link provided in a email they sent but just got a message page. How can I get my medication? Edit: on trying a couple of times I finally ordered my prescription, but it took a while. I'm happy now ☺️
I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Boots Pharmacy in Thame.
I ordered the morning after pill online the night before and received confirmation through the Boots portal at 9am that my prescription had been approved and would be ready to collect within two hours. When I attended later that afternoon, I was spoken to in a dismissive and aggressive manner from the outset. I was repeatedly interrupted while trying to explain the situation and felt I was treated as though I was wasting the pharmacist's time.
What upset me most was the complete lack of discretion surrounding such a sensitive medication. I was asked, in front of the counter, to state what my prescription was for, forcing me to say it was the morning after pill out loud. While waiting, I then overheard pharmacy staff making comments about "young girls" thinking they had ordered the pill when they hadn't, followed by someone asking if there was "a really red-faced and embarrassed teenager" waiting. It was obvious they were referring to me.
Emergency contraception is a time-sensitive healthcare service, and the people accessing it may already be feeling vulnerable or distressed. Patients should be treated with kindness, dignity and confidentiality, not judgement or embarrassment.
I have worked in customer service myself, so I appreciate that pharmacies are busy and staff have many competing demands. My complaint is not about having to wait; it is about the way I was spoken to and the complete lack of professionalism and compassion I experienced. I have made a formal complaint to Boots, as I genuinely hope this is addressed so that no one else has to leave feeling as upset and humiliated as I did.
Terrible
Overall terrible experience at Boots Pharmacy, Bretton, Peterborough. Currently my prescription issued on 25 June has still not been fully dispensed and a new prescription issued on 03 July has not been dispensed. Dispensing the prescriptions takes so long that new prescriptions are added which are similarly not dispensed. Staff is limited with a long queue waiting to collect their prescriptions. A wait of over an hour is common.

Boots chemist inside Guys hospital is a diabolical pharmacy.Took me 2 hours to receive my prescription to be told they new nothing about it.Finally I spoke to the manager and got it sorted. The counter staff are completely inept.Avoid at all costs.PS this happened after I had 2 hour operation and I really did not need this sort of aggro.
Waiting times reflect the quality.
Waiting times reflect the quality of Boots. Poor reviews have been consistant for many years. How is Boots still in business? Is the Chard branch any different from all the other poor reviews?
The answer an emphatic. No! Today after several visits during the morning, the queue has been fairly constant with 7 to 10 people waiting.!!

Isaac at the Carolgate, Retford store
Isaac at the Carolgate, Retford store was very helpful, he went above and beyond to help me on Saturday. I had visited the store to buy a Prada perfume and the offer was not showing on the shelf, Issac offered to scan the item for me and check the price, it was still showing the discounted price, so he took me to the front till to purchase the perfume as the till near the perfume counter was busy. He gave me a advantage card to do online when I got home to collect points on my purchase. Isaac was a very polite, helpful young man and I felt that I should do this review for him because he deserves to be noticed

Diabolical service
Diabolical service. Don’t bother with the prescription delivery service it’s a waste of your £55.
You don’t get notified of the delivery. You don’t get a text with a two hour time slot.
You’re also gaslit into believing that an attempt to deliver was made but nobody was home.
The prescriptions are never ready and the customer service is absolutely appalling.
This below par ‘service’ has been going on for nearly a year now, with probably no more than two successful deliveries.
Good luck trying to call them, especially on a Saturday, they don’t bother answering!!
This is what is meant to happen, as per the information on the prescription delivery website:
“There's no need to worry about missing a delivery, simply order your prescription, then agree a date that is convenient for you with the pharmacy team and you'll recieve a text with a 2-hour time slot on the morning of your delivery day”…... NO CHANCE!!!
Go elsewhere and don’t waste your money!

Helena on the Clarins counter
Helena on the Clarins counter. St Helier main branch, Jersey. Extremely professional and helpful...very rare these days. A credit to boots and Clarins. You should be choosing girls like Helena for ambassadors to your company instead of using models.
A stain on the brand!
Boots needs to either close this store (Westcroft , Milton Keynes) or sack everyone and start again. The pharmacy and the staff that work there should be fired without any ceremony. They are awful, useless, incompetent, and down right dangerous. I stood for 10 minutes being ignored but as I waited I was gobsmacked by how poor every member of staff was. If you don't like working there find somewhere else, don't take it out on every customer in front of you.
If you need help or medical advise, you have more chance of getting valuable assistance from the rats running around outside the store. This place is a stain on the brand!
