My experience was good
My experience was good, not great. I had to pay and claim from Car Care Plan because the VW maindealer required immediate reimbursement without which they refused to release my car.
problem was sorted out quickly
problem was sorted out with one phone call at a garage of my choice. car was picked up and all i had to do was collect it two days later. no paperwork or cash to sort out. really glad i took out the policy, its more than paid for itself

Excellent service from the team at Car Care Plan. My tyre issue was dealt with no issues and money was on my account in the time specified.
Convenient & value for money
Very good service. They called out to the house and did everything in 4 hours. I had a scratch on my wing and abrasions on my alloys but they corrected them all and the gentleman was very informative and helpful. Well worth the money.

The cosmetic repair didn’t live up to the sales hype
The cosmetic insurance was heavily sold at the dealership however when I had to have a small stone chip on the bonnet repaired on the policy the quality of the repair didn’t really match the sales hype. Overall I don’t think I will consider this insurance for my next car purchase.

Slight damage to door
Reported slight damage to my front passenger door where someone had obviously caught it when opening their door. Minimal small dent and paint damage. Someone attended to do the repair but not to a brilliant standard. Reported this to Car Care who decided that the damage was greater than 3mm deep. The damage was nowhere near this, which I told them. I offered to make the vehicle available for someone to come and see for themselves. Despite an email from them on 15th May saying that they were passing details over to DWV, I have heard nothing from either party to date (28th May).
The policy I took out was not cheap by any means, and it turns out was most certainly was not worth the money. I will absolutely not be taking out one of these policies again. Ever. They are an absolute waste of money, and I would certainly advise people to think twice before doing as I did.

The young lad Jacob was very polite, very knowledgeable and knew exactly what he was doing, the two repairs to my Golf Alloy wheels are fantastic, I can't even spot where the repairs have been done, I had to ask him where the repairs where done becauseI couldn't see them . Brilliant job well done young man carry on what you're doing.
