We loved our trip to Costa Rica and Costa Rica Expeditions planned the enitre trip with me. They were so easy to use. All of their drivers arrived on time or early, they were all super friendly and nice and they were a wealth of information! We stayed in great places, had wonderful connections via planes, boats, and drivers and did many activities...all booked and planned through Costa Rica Expeditions. I highly recommend them to everyone! They know their country and do a fabulous job in helping recommend where to go, what to see and what to do given your family's interests. I want to go back!!

Costa Rica Expeditions gave my family a vacation we will not forget. Their pre vacation collaboration helped select 3 perfect locations for our family with just the right amount of excursions and relaxation. The service was second to none. My son's luggage was misplaced upon arrival to Costa Rica. Costa Rica Expeditions helped track it with the airlines and delivered it to the Arenal area ASAP. The service at every accommodation we stayed at was excellent. We received an email everyday summarizing the next days events. Costa Rica Expeditions has an incredible business model of serving their customers and each employee we encountered executed it to perfection.

The tour was carefully crafted for our own tastes. We were interested in an overview of the entire country and enjoyed personal service and outstanding lodging. I would definitely use them again.

The first two times we went to Costa Rica I would have given five stars. The vacations were just what we wanted and Priscilla had planned well for us. However, when planning our third trip, suddenly our relationship was compromised by the huge price and by Priscilla’s plan to have us flying all over the country. We went with a different company and got what we want for less than half the price we were quoted by Costa Rica Expeditions.

It has been several years since we did our Costa Rica Expedition trip. I can not say enough about the entire experience. Everyone and everything was beyond our expectations. We are Senior citizens in our late seventies and so I can honestly say that we have the past travel experiences to compare.
All we had to do was call and tell our agent exactly what and where we wanted to go. She promptly forwarded a suggested itinerary and we worked and formed our own personal trip. Everything was covered down to the smallest detail.
Costa Rica Expeditions will give you exactly want you want...no matter how long or short of time you want to spend, They will give you a choice on expenses and suggest different and out-of-the-way sights and experiences you might not have considered.
I have not hesitated to recommend Costa Rica Expeditions to anyone that said they were planning a trip to Costa Rica.

All of your planning got us started on our thoroughly enjoyable vacation. You went above and beyond in planning the trip so that we could accommodate our particularized demands about avoiding travel on certain dates.

The lodgings were all wonderful, especially Tortuga Lodge and Monteverde Lodge, which are both so lovely and sensitive to their surrounding environment. Tortuguero is an extraordinary place. We were concerned that our relatives might find Tortuguero too low key. But we were wrong. All of us enjoyed the calm and beauty of the place. We got to go for a kayak expedition with Norbert who showed us a great deal of wild life while taking us through the waterways. In Monteverde, we especially enjoyed a private dinner in the butterfly garden. We also enjoyed the Springs in Arenal, especially the fabulous view of the volcano and all the hot springs so close to our rooms. Both of the hotels in San Jose were lovely.

The operations team did a good job of making sure that we were transported and guided per the schedule. Everyone was extremely responsive during a couple of changes that we requested during the trip Let me mention some individuals who went above and beyond: In Monteverde, executive chef Federico was gracious and generous to us during our first dinner, and he was charming to chat with after dinner. Rodifer Martinez was an excellent guide at Monteverde Reserve. Later, when we saw him at Monteverde Lodge, he went out of his way to show us animals in the garden at the lodge and to talk with us about life in Costa Rica. When we traveled from Monteverde to San Jose, we had a driver named Minor who was just as much an ambassador for Costa Rica as he was a driver. He went out of his way to stop at overlooks, take terrific photos, and show us wild fruit growing along the road. As he said to us, "This is my job, but it's your vacation." He clearly wanted us to have a wonderful vacation, as did everyone else we encountered through Costa Rican Expeditions. There are so many others whose names I didn't get but who deserve praise for their hospitality.

Let me also extend a compliment to Indira, our guide at Arenal who I believe works for Arenal Adventures. She did a terrific job guiding us up to the volcano, teaching us about the wildlife and plants while remaining sensitive to my difficulty getting up and down rocky paths.

Our holiday was wonderful! Costa Rica is amazing and having every logistic detail looked after when you don’t speak Spanish is a great advantage. There was a glitch near the end of our vacation and when it was discovered, the company sent us to a wonderful resort for a great dinner in order to make up for the problem. Very classy!

We had a fabulous time in Costa Rica. Couldn't have had better guides and services. We enjoyed every minute even though we had a day or two delay because of the hurricane. The company man sure everything worked out. It was fantastic visiting both oceans, the volcanos, coffee plantations, seeing all the wildlife and birds.

I wish every vacation I ever take could be planned by a company like Costa Rica Expeditions. Our Costa Rica trip was by far the best trip we have taken as a family. I only wish they had a similar company in the US or Europe.

We had an amazing trip to Costa Rica thanks to Costa Rica Expeditions! The agent we worked with took the time to really get to know what we wanted out of our trip and tailored it exactly to our expectations! Our transfers showed up on time and were very friendly and knowledgeable. We spent the first half of the trip at Arenal and every day had an excursion planned. Each morning our itinerary was slipped under our door so we knew what time we’d be picked up for our adventure of the day. We stayed at Casa Luna and really enjoyed lounging by the pool and the poolside bar - which had great happy hour! The food was amazing - I’m still craving the plantain chips and bean dip!
We then had a transfer take us for the second half of our trip to Tamarindo, where we were attending a family members’ wedding and wanted some relaxation. We stayed at Cala Luna and abolsutely loved it! It was a quaint boutique hotel, with delicious food and service! We had our own villa with a private pool and it was amazing! The only thing I wish is that we had spent more time there but we will definitely be back and will use this company to plan our next trip! It was truly seamless, they took all the work out of it and also were available 24/7 in case there were any issues - which there weren’t. It gave us peace of mind knowing we could contact them for anything at anytime. We can’t wait to go back!
