Only give 1 star as I can't give a…

Only give 1 star as I can't give a zero. Stay away from this company.
Sent item back in the same inferior packet it came and was told no refund as it has pet hair on it, I do not have pets.
Have challenged this through Debenhams and no joy. Maybe Debenhams need to look at who they sell for.
I'm disgusted in this and am shutting my Debenhams account and will never deal with either of these 2 companies again.
Seems I'm not the only one that this has happened to.

Bad Experience with Double Second

Take photos of your items before you return them. I failed to do this and had an item sent back because it was received with stains on. It clearly wasn't worn as all the 'do not remove' ribbons were still attached. It was only tried on once but I can't prove I returned it in the same condition it was received. Now stuck with an item I don't want - having to get it dry cleaned so I can sell it on. Not happy at all and won't order from them again.

Beautiful dress

Beautiful dress, but unhappy with the zip. When I contacted them, they were extremely helpful, prompt responses and resolved the issue straight away.

Exceptional customer service

I was experiencing real difficulties getting a refund out of Debenhams who were not willing to help me. I sent the wrong package to double2nd and they were very helpful at sending onto the correct place. I couldn’t be more thankful thank you so much. Excellent customer service. Worst company ever - took advantage of a sleep deprived new mum

Worst company ever, sent me a stained dress when I was a few months postpartum, I returned it cause it didn't fit and they refused to refund me - stay away.
To give more information, they claimed I stained it with makeup/fake tan. I was a new mum who was not wearing makeup and I have never used tanning products. They sent me the dress back and not refunded me. I sent it back with my explanation and they still refused to refund me and didn't sent me the dress back. Essentially they stole my money. Stay away!!!

Customer service

I had a problem with an order and emailed customer services, and honestly I did not expect a reply.
In fact, I was emailed back quickly from MinHee who was very helpful and tried to resolve my issue. Although it was not fully resolved, I now know where the problem lies
It was refreshing to actually engage with an actual person rather than stock email responses. I will order through the actual website in future, rather than a 3rd party. Well done!

Amazing Dresses & Good Customer service

I recently purchased few dresses from DoubleSecond, and I have been impressed by their outstanding customer service. The delivery was prompt, and the quality of the garments exceeded my expectations. Though one garment runs larger & when I needed to return , the refund process was efficient and hassle-free.

AVOID

AVOID! I ordered a dress through Debenhams and returned this to Double Second but weeks later received the dress back accusing me of “snagging” the dress. I merely had the dress on for 5 minutes to try on and took it straight off still with tags in tact and the security ribbon. Double Second have returned the dress to me now saying it’s in an unsaleable condition accusing me of damaging the dress because they apparently have a “QC” department that check all garments before dispatch. On reading some other reviews on here it doesn’t look like I am the only one. They asked me to escalate the matter through Debenhams but they’re only responding with the same response as they’ve given me so why ask me to escalate it? Going to now have to open a case with the bank causing time and effort for something I have not caused. Be cautious when ordering and ensure that you definitely want it so you don’t have to make a return!

Beautiful dress, looks absolutely amazing the colour is great too. Quick delivery and well packaged. Wasn’t sure what size to order so opted for 12 ( usually 10-12) so pleased I did. Feels snug although not tight and can move in it, (not used to wearing a dress) think the next size would be too big. Well impressed with my purchase and the company, well done double second

Do not refund money for items returned

I Ordered the same dress in two sizes, I tried on the 14 but the style was too long so returned both sizes for a refund. One dress (12) was in an unopened bag. I received a message to say they would only refund 1 dress as the other dress had a pull init (the dress which was not tried on and the bag was open).

Three weeks ago I returned the items but only been refunded for one. It’s not double second who answer your queries it’s another company who now have stopped returning any of my messages. They have stole my money £37.00 and will not return any messages. Having to contact my bank and trading standards as this is fraud.

My advice do not buy from this company as they can not be trusted.

Fantastic experience

Reading the reviews not sure why they have negative customer service reviews. I have bought a few dresses from Double Second and the customer service has been brilliant. Fast delivery, great quality and when I returns a few of the dresses that I bought as options I was refunded quickly.
Their garments are excellent quality and very well priced, I always receive compliments on them.

Refuse to refund returned goods!

Be careful if you want to return something because they will do ANYTHING to keep your money. I ordered a coat through Debenhams which was returned in PERFECT condition. Tags still on etc, they found the tiniest little mark and sent the coat back to me. Struggled to even find the ‘stain’ it was the size of a pinprick and I’m not exaggerating. It wiped off straight away with water. Do not recommend them at all.

Poor quality

Customer service and returning policy are incredibly poor. The dress is too small, they refuse to give me refund, saying that I removed safety ribbon, which one was exactly on a neck, I didn’t want to remove it but there wasn’t any other way to try it on. Plus I lost money for a dress and they want me to cover post expenses to send me back small dress. Don’t recommend

It is disappointing to receive this review.

We can see that there are several conversations, showing a picture where there is proof that the garment has been worn.

In terms of the yellow security ribbon, it states "Please do not cut this ribbon unless you are satisfied with this garment. Returns will not be accepted if this ribbon has been cut". All our garments are possible to try on without removing the security ribbon.

It would also be unfair for us to take the worn garment back and re-sell it to the next customer.

I ordered a dress for my daughters…

I ordered a dress for my daughters wedding. It was beautiful but had a few little tears in the lace. I contacted them and they sent a replacement dress out just in time for the wedding. Customer service is fantastic.
