Excellent and effective service, high level of expertise and advice

The rep was extremely knowledgeable and informative throughout the process. Installation was quick and efficient, seen a big reduction in my electricity bills, Keep up the good work!

Eco Green Energy Solutions came to install underfloor heating at our property, said they had finished the work on one of the floors and asked for payment.

Our builders, architect, structural engineer and two other heating companies have all had a look at their work and unanimously say that building regulations were broken and the installation was not done right.

The had cut made 30 cuts into the joists, every single one of which broke building regulations - too wide and too deep (many were over 10cm wide).
They cut holes into the joists for the flow and return (instead of routing along the side of the wall)
The holes they cut into the joists were below the cuts - which again breaks building regulations.
There were kinks in the pipes (so whole zones would have to be relaid)
The manifold was too high.
No pipes were connected to the manifold.
The pipe leading to the water cylinder was too small.
No pressure test was done (and no record of one supplied).
They prepared a plan for the underfloor heating - it showed pipes running in a perpendicular direction to the joists, so couldn’t have worked. It also had the wrong spacing between the joists.
We weren’t given any document for protection of our deposit - so it seems it wasn’t registered with a deposit scheme.
The quote we received had a photo of spreader plates on it and their website invites you to add spreader plates to your quote - yet they said spreader plates weren’t included in the quote and we had to pay our builders to install them on top. All companies that have since quoted to fix their work have said they install spreader plates themselves.
The contract said they are a member of a dispute resolution scheme - which turned out to be incorrect (they are for other products but not for underfloor heating - which is what the contract was for)
Their communication was terrible - on one occasion they came unannounced to look at the site, then left and sent an email complaining about the site. Our architect and builder were downstairs the whole time but they didn’t talk to them.
On another occasion they called at 6pm to ask if the site could be ready for installation at 8am the next day.
They sent someone to the house to make a plan with us for the underfloor heating, then the next day said they weren’t working on the project. At least two companies like this were used, the workmen were probably also subcontractors.
They refused to return our deposit.

Experience from start to finish was very informative, workmanship was done to the highest quality. Highly recommend if you are looking to minimise your energy bills.

Friday House Installation:
Ewan and his team have worked really hard using unfamiliar equipment to get our system up and running, and all for the original estimate in spite of cost increases. They have always attempted to answer our questions, and returned when things gave us concerns. It would be a 5 star rating but for some teething problems, which I'm sure is a product of the unfamiliar equipment.

Eco Green supplied and fitted solar panels, battery and heatpump. It is clear that the supply chain for production and installation of heat pumps is in its infancy and therefore we've all got to have some understanding if things don't always go perfectly. Importantly I have found the entire team at Eco Green to be professional, constructive and helpful. The installation team were diligent, worked hard and took time (at all times of day) to explain the operation. The business team always responded to my questions and put all the administration in place. Of course the company is learning and growing but I believe they have the right attitude to continue to be successful.

Very neat and professional job. Had a heat pump installed and the lads who installed were excellent and Ewan guided us through the whole process. Will recommend to friends and family

Owner Ewan is rude and unhelpful to existing customers. Reading reviews here, seems like he is quite the opposite when looking for new customers. I misplaced my MCS certificate and have requested a copy from them, his first response was that he cannot deal with me. Then he asked for some proof of ownership and now he hasn't responded to my email for the last week

Since my original review left on another website I have received threatening emails and phone calls from this man Ewan McNeil who is the owner of this company. I have had to report him to the police as he has not stopped harassing me to remove my review. People should know that this is who they are dealing with when they use such a company

Ewan tried to take me to court for the review I left on another website, but his case was thrown out as he didn't even bother to attend the hearing. He used the court case as a way of trying to scare me in to removing the review.

Saying I am not on your records as a customer does not explain the rude and aggressive behaviour of your owner. You should keep better records as I have all the original paperwork with your companies name on. I have also managed to get a copy of the MCS certificate directly from MCS which also has your companies name on.

The installer was polite and tidy, the proses was smooth, Ewan was always at hand to answer any questions, I find this very helpful, I will highly recommend Eco Greenenergy Solution.

Quick, seemless with no issues on approvals or getting the right documentation for me. I was able to get 3.5 KW of solar panels and a 6.3 KWh battery installed instep with a major house renovation. So far so good, the system appears to be working well.

We found Eco Greenenergy Solutions a pleasure to deal with. From start to finish the work proceeded in an efficient and professional manner. The work force involved in both the battery installation and the Heat Pump were careful and friendly. I am confident that we have an extremely effective system that replaces the gas boiler.
