FirstPoint USA Reviews

Great coaches. Made the lads feel very welcome. Highly recommended

I had such a great experience at the session. The coaches and staff were incredibly respectful and clearly showed us the standards they need from us to succeed. As someone who aspires to play professional rugby, it is always great learning more and more about the game. I also really enjoyed being around my peers, as I was able to learn a lot from them too. I will definitely take note of the personal feedback I received after the session and use it to improve my game moving forward.

It was a great experience for my son as it was really well organised. There was a high standard of coaching and the level of football was high. Everyone there was very nice and respectful. What an experience !

The first hour where the coaches had a talk with the parents and the children was very helpful and I really enjoyed the trial experience.

Coaching and presentation was a good quality along with the facilities. However there was no position specific drills for e.g goalkeepers, defenders. Could be to the amount if people there but would like to see this.

There was a really good and thought through structure to the sessions shown by the fact that there was no issues of organisation however for me I can’t give it 5 stars because the only issue was there was too many people in the match part of the session making it a little bit chaotic.

Very positive experience and lots of players, on the other hand there may of been to many players at one trail and the quality lacked in some areas.

I thought the coaches were a great set of people and all knew what they were talking about. The talk at the start i also found very help-full and gave me some great insights i hadn't already had. I found the actual playing and drills alright but i fell would have been better in smaller groups. This is because with 24 players playing a game on half a pitch was a little too crammed and people couldn’t truly display what they had. Thr value for money was good, i think the session was an hour and a half not including the little introduction wich is decent considering i only spent £20.

Great experience, excellent standard of football and great intensity. I really enjoyed this event and would recommend if to all

It was a great experience all round, coaches were amazing, playing the as amazing it was all well organised. Would recommend to others 100%

The staff and the drills were excellent and the whole session was well run including the information talk

Good speeches, good venue. Varied activities. Could have maybe had 1/2 more staff for numbers there.

Top quality coaching provided a great training session to allow players to develop independently.

I took part in the First Point USA Scholarship Trial the other day and it was an absolutely amazing event hosted by great coaches who gave feedback and helped you to improve massively throughout the day. You will pay £20 on the day of the trial and then you have about a 45 minute introduction of the scholarship, and then you go straight into a pulse raiser and stretches to prevent injuries, and then I did some intense drills, and then went into a match where they could see my athletic abilities. I would highly recommend the First Point USA Scholarship Trial to anyone who is trying to take their football abilities to the next step.

The staff members were very pleasant there presentation was epic had alot of convincing the actual trial was amazing did alot of warm up which was necessary with the cold but also the couching was really good made sure everyone was having a good time.

Good setup everything was ready when we arrived , the coaches were great at informing about college life in the us. The footwork drills and the match sessions and the 1v1s aloud the players to showcase all there skills .

Really enjoyed the trial in particular Kenny who was clearly a very good coach who didn't go easy on us.

They offer out amazing opportunities to young poeple which they may struggle to find elsewhere.

There was lots of very useful information mentioned in the first part of the session. On the field the coaches were helpful during drills. There was no issue finding the sign in area on arrival. Overall a very good experience.

Everyone there was very helpful and helped everyone as much as they can. They explained everything detailed which helped the players and the parents to know about the scholarship you could have if you have what it takes to take that further step into an American scholarship.it is very cheap compared to paying elsewhere.
