FirstPoint USA Reviews

Good setup everything was ready when we arrived , the coaches were great at informing about college life in the us. The footwork drills and the match sessions and the 1v1s aloud the players to showcase all there skills .

Really enjoyed the trial in particular Kenny who was clearly a very good coach who didn't go easy on us.

They offer out amazing opportunities to young poeple which they may struggle to find elsewhere.

There was lots of very useful information mentioned in the first part of the session. On the field the coaches were helpful during drills. There was no issue finding the sign in area on arrival. Overall a very good experience.

Everyone there was very helpful and helped everyone as much as they can. They explained everything detailed which helped the players and the parents to know about the scholarship you could have if you have what it takes to take that further step into an American scholarship.it is very cheap compared to paying elsewhere.

The coaching staff and organisation team were very good! nothing bad or poor to say about them, thank you for the opportunity.

I really enjoyed the practical sessions with First Point USA. The professionalism of the coaches and the way the sessions were organised made it a great experience.

The group activities were fun, competitive and gave everyone the opportunity to showcase our individual skills while also working as part of a team. I particularly enjoyed the balance between defensive and attacking play, as it allowed me to demonstrate different aspects of my game.

The coaches provided excellent feedback throughout the sessions, highlighting both what we were doing well and areas where we could improve as individuals. I found this really valuable, as it gave me a better understanding of my strengths and what I need to continue working on as a player.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. It also gave me a great insight into what First Point USA is all about, their approach to developing athletes, and the opportunities they can provide for players looking to take their sporting journey to the next level.

I’m really grateful for the opportunity to be involved and look forward to learning more about the programme and what the next steps might bring as an international student.

Very constructive all questions were answered nothing was left out Sean clarified everything and more importantly the duty of care for my son at the end of the day safety was a priority on our behalf, that box was 💯 percent ticked off and we knew our son is in safe hands with first point USA.

Amazing place , lovely atmosphere the coaches gave excellent support plus feedback to players overall one of my best experiences

We’ve had a really positive experience with the program and couldn’t be happier with how everything has been run. A special mention has to go to Danial, whose passion for the program and the genuine relationship he builds with the kids really stands out. It’s clear he truly cares about what he does and wants the best for every young person involved.

As a parent, knowing Danial is there looking after him makes such a huge difference. It gives us so much more confidence and peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands, supported, encouraged and cared for by someone who genuinely wants to see him succeed.

It’s not just about the program itself, but the people who make it what it is, and Danial is a huge part of that. We really appreciate the time, effort and heart he puts into it. Thank you to everyone involved for providing such a positive experience. We’d happily recommend the program to other families!

The soccer trial was exceptionally well-organized from start to finish, with a smooth check-in process, excellent facilities, and a schedule that ran right on time. The coaching staff and scouts were incredibly professional, welcoming, and supportive, giving constructive feedback and ensuring every player had a fair chance to showcase their abilities. Additionally, the high level of competition pushed me to perform at my best in a realistic match setting, making it a fantastic and valuable experience for any player seeking genuine exposure.

Best experience experienced ever the way they communicated with us was easy to understand and the drills where perfect formed and organised

The trial was very good as you got to show off many different aspects of your game. The interview process was really helpful as it helped me really understand what they would be providing. Coaches were also really friendly and helpful.

We have had Mhairi helping us progress to the Promotion phase, she has been so helpful and patient getting all of the information together needed. Really appreciate her attention and hard work. Thanks

Our activation consultant Mhairi was brilliant, we had some problems getting what she needed but she was very patient and constantly helping us getting to the promotion stage. 👍🏻

Well structured and professionally run trial. Players had a chance to showcase their talents.

I really enjoyed the presentation before the trials. I learned soo much about the organisation from it.
The trial drills were also amazing especially the warmups which were more focused on muscle groups we would use during our session

I think the training/trial structure was great with three different zones of practise. They were enjoyable, fun and competitive.

It was a well set up trial and gave everyone a fair chance to show their quality but I think it would help the coaches see the players quality better in an 11 v 11 full sized game

I've had a great time with first point, the communication was on point the teaching was one point that tips were on point and overall they're really friendly and really nice you could get well with them easily.
