Kind of janky delivery, but good products !

The Flip.ro delivery service is a bit janky. I expected it to arrive on a certain day, but it actually came the day after. The worst part was that I had just finished work and I had to rush to get there. Despite all of this, the product is completely good ! I haven't encountered any irregularities with it at the moment !

I recently purchased an iPhone 12 Pro from Flip and I have noticed some unusual battery behavior.

The battery health shows 100%, but the battery percentage sometimes drops very quickly. For example, it went from 58% to 43% in a short period of time, and after an iOS update I noticed another sudden drop to around 28%.

I have also experienced what seem to be battery percentage jumps, where the displayed percentage changes more than expected. The phone became warm during setup, updates, TikTok use, and gaming, although I understand some heating can be normal.

Could you please let me know if this behavior is expected for a recently set up device, or if the battery and device should be checked under warranty?

What you are experiencing can be normal during the first days after setting up a device. Following the initial configuration, the phone may perform various background processes such as software updates, app installations, data restoration from backups, photo and file indexing, and system optimization tasks. These activities can temporarily increase battery consumption, cause the device to become warmer than usual, and sometimes lead to battery percentage fluctuations.

It is also normal for the device to feel warm during activities such as software updates, video streaming, social media usage, gaming, or while charging.

We recommend monitoring the device for the next few days under normal usage conditions. In most cases, battery performance and temperature stabilize once all background processes have been completed.

Am trimis un Ipad Air 4 Wifi+ Cellular stare excelenta la evaluarea pe site a fost oferita suma de 1200 lei in regim de consignatie( plata la 10 zile), cand a ajuns la ei ca nu merge Cellular-ul costa reparatia 907 lei si imi ofera pe tableta 293 lei, am cerut Ipadul inapoi merge impecabil si pe 4G, am filmare si poze cu teste, oare au tehnicieni prosti de habar nu au de ei sau incearca sa cumpere produse pe 2 lei si apoi sa le vanda pe sute si zeci de mii?

Experiența mea cu Flip a fost foarte dezamăgitoare.

Am trimis către Flip un iPhone 15 Pro cumpărat nou de la iStyle în iunie 2024, aflat încă în garanție și fără reparații sau intervenții anterioare.

Înainte de expediere nu am observat nicio problemă legată de funcționarea telefonului. Cu o zi înainte de predarea coletului aveam semnal de rețea mobilă activ și există dovezi că telefonul era utilizat pentru comunicații GSM.

După recepționarea dispozitivului, Flip m-a informat că cititorul SIM nu este funcțional și a modificat evaluarea inițială. Nu am fost de acord cu concluzia lor și am refuzat oferta revizuită.

Telefonul mi-a fost returnat, iar după ce l-am primit înapoi l-am testat personal. În acel moment am constatat că problema semnalată de Flip exista într-adevăr. Tocmai de aceea am contestat concluziile lor și am solicitat explicații suplimentare cu privire la modul în care s-a ajuns la această situație, având în vedere că înainte de expediere nu observasem un astfel de defect și dispuneam de dovezi care indicau funcționarea serviciilor mobile.

Am transmis capturi de ecran, informații suplimentare și argumente în sprijinul poziției mele. Cu toate acestea, compania și-a menținut punctul de vedere, iar după ultimele mele mesaje nu am mai primit niciun răspuns.

Am sesizat ANPC și am continuat demersurile pentru clarificarea situației.

Din experiența mea, modul de gestionare a cazului și comunicarea ulterioară au fost nesatisfăcătoare. Din acest motiv, nu recomand serviciul.

Ne pare rau ca experienta avuta nu s-a ridicat la nivelul asteptarilor!

Din pacate, in lipsa unor dovezi clare care sa ateste ca dispozitivul avand prezenta un cititor SIM functional la data de 30.11, rezolutia ramane finala. Dispunem de toate dovezile necesare pentru a dovedi starea in care dispozitivul a fost receptionat, dar si faptul ca acesta nu prezenta un cititor SIM functional, fiind atasat raportul tehnic in discutiile avute pe mail cu colegii nostri.

Prin urmare, fara a avea dovezi explicite si fara o sesizare transmisa la momentul in care ai fost informata de acest defect in cadrul contului de client in data de 10.11, pozitia noastra ramane finala, dispozitivul fiind returnat in exact aceeasi stare in care a fost receptionat la adresa noastra.

Daca ai nevoie de asistenta suplimentara, ne poti lasa un mesaj si te vom asista cu drag.

Misleading “Excellent” condition – not trustworthy

I bought an iPhone 15 Pro from Flip expecting reliability and transparency. Instead, I got a device with a non-original battery and a previously replaced screen — none of which was disclosed.

After just 3 months, the screen completely died while I was traveling in China. Without a phone there, you literally can’t function (payments, transport, even buying water). I had no choice but to repair it locally.

Because of this repair, the phone now effectively has no warranty, so I’m left with a significantly devalued device.

Flip’s response? A copy-paste from their terms and conditions, ignoring the actual issue: they sold a product as “Excellent” while hiding critical information that directly affects value and reliability.

Calling something “Excellent” but omitting major repairs is simply misleading.

You pay more than on second-hand platforms expecting peace of mind — but you don’t get it.

I would not trust their grading or descriptions again.

P.S.: After their answer and the communication I had via email, they keep mentioning that relevant information about the device is available when purchasing. I'd love to know where exactly. I surely wouldn't have bought a phone with a non-original battery and an already-replaced screen at a premium price. I don't even care about the money anymore. I'd open a case to ANPC.

iPhone plus sent back with scratches

My wife recently proposed to sell an iPhone 15 Plus in perfect shape. Flip.ro made an offer of 2000 RON and my wife accepted and sent them the device. She got back an email stating that the product will be sent back because they don’t take eSIM products. I should mention at this point that the phone was bought by me from US. When she received back the phone , the screen was scratched in multiple places for no apparent reason. The phone was since day 1 with hard case and screen protection so was 10/10 perfect , no scratches whatsoever. I find this very unprofessional and I don’t recommend to anyone to engage with flip.ro

During the testing and verification process, the devices are checked by simply connecting them to a PC using a data cable.

The devices are also checked aesthetically. The devices are not opened during this process.

If the packages are delivered to the Flip service and it is noticed that they show signs of damage, a notification is sent to both the courier company and the sender. This did not happen in the case of this sales request.

We guarantee that the device was delivered back to your possession in exactly the same aesthetic condition in which it was delivered by the courier.

Throughout the device's stay in the Flip service, it was placed in bubble wrap, in the Flip box, which also contains a sponge for protection. Also, the workbenches are wrapped in shockproof material, and the technicians use protective gloves during the tests.

Considering the above, the device was returned in the same condition in which it was delivered to our service.

Am cumpărat un iPhone 13pro ,,as new''. În mai puțin de câteva luni bateria a început să degradeze semnificativ, în cât de la 60% putea ajunge la 5% în doar jumătate de oră, se înfierbântă puternic și deseori rămânea fără semnal. L-am trimis pe garanție, cică l-au reparat, au schimbat bateria si rezolvat problema cu semnalul. Dar deja e apărut altă surpriză, telefonul nu-și mai făcea update. Mereu eroare. Și asta s-a început exact după o lună de la expirarea garanției. Încercând să fac update prin Macbook, telefonul s-a transformat într-o cărămidă. Problema era placa de baza a telefonului. Evident că ăștia de la flip au zis ,,ne pare rău, prostia care am vândut-o dvs nu mai este sub garanție''. Acest este un scam ordinar. În viața mea nu mai recomand cuiva acest site și cu atât mai mult nu cumpăr de la ei. Rușine

I think the ones who complain of low prices offered to phone sellers should realize that the company must pay for all the employees, instruments, facility and for insurance in case your phone will not sell too soon or at all. If you don't want this, you're free to go to the jungle of marketplace.

Loterie de baterie...

Cel mai enervant lucru este că îți garantează doar 85% viață la baterie, te presează psihologic să iei cu baterie nouă - neoriginală. Cam toate recenziile negative vin de la oameni care își cumpără telefon "că nou" dar primesc telefon cu baterie sub așteptări iar recenziile pozitive sunt de la cei norocoși, cu capacitate baterie de 100% sau peste așteptări. Alte site-uri îți afișează nivelul bateriei înainte să-l cumperi, la flip.ro lipsă totală de transparență.Plătești aceiași bani pentru un telefon cu baterie de 85% cu unul care are 100%, cea ce este absurd. Nu trebuie să fie o loterie, unii sunt norocoși iar unii că mine primesc un telefon cu 600 de cicluri și 92% baterie. Plus că am pus returnarea telefonului pe data de 02.04.2026, iar azi pe 03.04.2026, mi-au spus că o să mi-l ridice pe 06.04.2026, iar returnare banilor tăi depinde de cât de repede returnezi produsul.

Iti multumim pentru ca ai ales sa ne transmiti feedback-ul tau si ne pare rau ca experienta avuta nu a fost conform asteptarilor.

Dispozitivele pe care le comercializam sunt reconditionate, testate riguros in peste 60 de puncte tehnice si beneficiaza de o garantie de 2 ani. Din acest motiv, pretul lor este considerabil mai avantajos comparativ cu al telefoanelor noi.

In urma procesului de reconditionare, nu putem garanta rezistenta la apa si praf. Din acest motiv, aceasta caracteristica nu este mentionata in descrierile produselor sau in alte materiale de prezentare. De asemenea, in Termeni si Conditii, sectiunea 3.2.9.6, punctul (iii), este specificat faptul ca garantia standard nu acopera daunele provocate de contactul cu lichide. Indiferent daca se opteaza pentru o baterie standard sau pentru una noua, nu putem garanta rezistenta la apa si praf.

Sanatatea bateriei este garantata intre 85% si 100% pentru toate dispozitivele comercializate, indiferent de aspectul estetic. Pragul ales de noi este peste recomandarea de inlocuire indicata de Apple (sub 80%), tocmai pentru a asigura performanta si autonomie corespunzatoare. Aceasta informatie este afisata transparent in pagina fiecarui produs.

In ceea ce priveste preluarea coletului pentru retur, intelegem nemultumirea legata de termenul comunicat. In urma discutiei avute cu colegii nostri, a fost transmisa o solicitare de urgentare catre firma de curierat, astfel incat preluarea sa se faca in cel mai scurt timp posibil.

Ramanem deschisi pentru orice alte clarificari, astfel ne poti lasa un mesaj la adresa de email contact@flip.ro sau la chatul din site si te vom asista cu drag.

Very disappointing experience

I bought 2 iPhone s in 2024 with status “as new”. Both stopped working this week, one of them one month after the guarantee ended, the other had 3 years guarantee so I will send it to be checked. The phones were used by my parents, so very carefully handled and quite little time used. Very disappointing experience!

bad lowballers

Used the Bulgarian site but its the same.
Flip used to be a good re-seller/buyer but now when you want to sell something they just lowball the crap out of you so they can make almost 100% more profit in your device. Will never buy or sell to these people ever again.

The offer I received was 40% less than…

The offer I received was 40% less than the initial offer allegedly because of some made-up scratches and on the re-valuation of the battery health.
The payment for the phone was done more than the maximum of 20 days promoted on the site. I don't recommend selling your phone to them.

Vand telefoane cu piese de proasta calitate. Am achiziționat un IPhone de la ei si avea ecranul schimbat cu unul Neoriginal, deoarece sistemul afisa un mesaj in acest sens.

Camera foto tremura extrem de tare.

De asemenea, din experienta proprie pot sa spun ca, daca vinzi un telefon la ei, iti ofera un pret extrem de mic fata de cel estimat pe site-ul lor, chiar daca telefonul e in stare ca NOUA.

Am vandut la ei un IPhone 15 Pro Max care fusese desigilat de numai o luna, era impecabil din orice punct de vedere, mi au oferit un pret relativ mic fata de pretul pietei second hand, iar cand telefonul a ajuns la ei, mi au oferit cu 30% mai putin decat oferta initial, am refuzat si am realizat ca mi au schimbat componentele telefonului, Ecranul fusese schimbat, bateria si modulul de camere.

Am depus o plangere la ANPC si urmeaza sa ii actionez ai in instanta.

Nu Recomand, nu mai vindeti si nu cumparati de la ei, sunt niste excroci

Ne pare rau sa aflam ca experienta ta alaturi de Flip nu a fost una pozitiva si ca nu recomanzi serviciile noastre.

Nu am identificat nicio comanda de vanzare sau achizitie asociata numelui tau, motiv pentru care revenim cu un raspuns pe aceasta cale.

Produsele comercializate de noi sunt reconditionate, iar reparatiile sunt efectuate intern de catre specialistii Flip. Componentele utilizate sunt marcate CE, testate riguros si respecta standarde ridicate de calitate. In anumite situatii pot fi folosite si piese compatibile, nu neaparat originale.
Toate produsele achizitionate de pe site beneficiaza de garantie.
Ne-am fi dorit sa trimiti telefonul in service pentru verificare, astfel incat tehnicienii nostri sa poata analiza si solutiona situatia prezentata.

In cazul vanzarii unui produs, oferta initiala are caracter estimativ si poate fi modificata in urma verificarii tehnice, in functie de defectele sau diferentele de aspect constatate.
Dispozitivele sunt testate si verificate prin conectare la PC, folosindu-se un software dedicat, fara a se interveni in niciun mod asupra componentelor.

I recently bought an s25 in an “excellent condition”. The phone had scratches and bumps on the frame and on the camera frames, the battery had 400 charging cycles but 100% battery health, which is impossible. I contacted them to ask if the battery was replaced and if it was an original part, to which they replied “I would have been happy to assist you, however, the exact battery health cannot be communicated upon request, as the optimal operating range of the battery is already ensured.
All components used by Flip are compatible, CE-certified, and carefully inspected by our specialists.
In situations where original parts are not available, high-quality compatible components are used, internally tested to ensure the optimal functioning of the product.”
Not being able to tell me if the phone battery was replaced and if it s an original samsung part or not, is inadmissible for a phone that is around 80% as expensive as the new, unused one. I paid that price for a used phone with god knows which parts are original and which parts are aftermarket. Disgusting.
