Bought the American fridge freezer in December 2021 it as just broke down this weekend ruining all our food . Not even lasted two years for the £540 price tag . Phoned the insurance company who want £250 fix this product do not buy this Chinese company products .

Awful Chinese owned company - they told me that the door seal that will not meet on my new fridge was the result of me swapping the door, and therefore any warranty is voided (swapping the door is listed AS A FEATURE OF THE FRIDGE) - stay away from this company at all costs and buy Beko when you need value white goods.

I've had this fridge for a year and a half and this is the second time it has broken. Sadly, it is now out of warranty. Surely this is illegal. Do not use this company.

Very poor design of the small freezer compartment of the fridge,it doesn't seal shut, freezes up,disrupts the temp of the fridge,would never purchase again

American style fridge freezer. Freezer stopped working after 1.5 years. Repair man told me it cannot be repaired as it has a gas leak in an inaccessible place. Also defrost evaporator pipe is rusting. He told me to avoid this brand

Bought an American style fridge freezer from ao in December 2022 and one year seven months later it’s it stopped working had to throw £100/£200 worth of food out also had to pay a insurance company to fix it £250 for a years insurance the repair guy came after a week and said he was amazed the compressor didn’t set on fire.

Don’t buy Fridgemaster totally rubbish

Fridge has packed up after nine months. Was instructed on the phone to turn off for 24 hours & reset but still not working. Cheap, useless product and not worth the money.

Purchased an American style premium fridge freezer in march 2022. Which 4 months later randomly chose to turn it self off (lost several hundred pounds worth of food) Reported problem and was duly dealt with, a new pcb was fitted. Now the same problem is occurring within one year of the replacement part being fitted. Called only to be told this is not their problem as it is now of warranty. I asked so your products which you sell for a premium are only good for one year? the girl said yes ! Avoid this company

A well kept and maintained fridge freezer that struggles to keep it's fridge temperature below 8C. Customer services refuse any help as manufacturer's varranty only covers 1 year and the issue appeared at 1.5 years.
That's how little confidence Fridgemaster has in their own disfunctional designs.
Going with Samsung from now on!

Bought American style Fridgemaster MS91518FFB from AO in April 22 for £555 just over 1 year later. All things going 'mushy' in freezer, won't freeze lollys even on highest setting. Have had to pay 228 now for a repair. Never had a fridge freezer go wrong before. Clearly a faulty product which is still being sold and the customer left with the repair bill. Never again!!

Absolutely shocking company.
A brand new fridge delivered yesterday which I ordered from AO.
Followed all instructions, left to stand for at least 4 hours before turning the fridge on. After the fridge had then been on for approximately 6 hours, it had not even started to get cool. The only part that worked was the internal light! The fridge was silent.
I called AO who annoyingly told me I had to phone the manufacturer.
Many calls to them and several times of being 'cut off'.
Fridgemaster had me jumping through hoops, asking me for photos of the compressor, did it look damaged to me? Like I'm some kind of compressor expert! What is the temperature of the fridge?? How can a fridge that doesn't work have a temperature?? I was told that 6 hours of being turned on isn't long enough for the fridge to start cooling! She even asked me the temperature of my freezer which is a totally separate appliance that I've had for a couple of years and of absolutely no relevance before finally agreeing to send out an engineer in SIX days time. I asked her if the engineer was going to sit in my house for over 6 hours to give the fridge time to start cooling?! No thank you Fridgemaster .. thankfully AO (who was on a 3 way call with me) finally stepped in and agreed a full refund.
Hopefully the new appliance bought from Currys will be a much better experience.
Fridgemaster .. you should cease trading or up your game!

Bought a chest freezer in December 22 it broke down in April 23 ! Engineer came and said needs gas and he wasn’t qualified to do it …another engineer said it didn’t need gas but there was a loose connection and he fixed it but all my Easter food had defrosted and went in the bin😡
It has broken down again June 23 and I have had to throw the contents away again. Fridgemaster won’t replace it until an engineer comes to assess it but no one available until 10days time !!!!
Very poor product and service sadly.

Bought model MC60287DS April 2021. Packed up today, have lost all food. Out of warranty so having read the other reviews I wont be throwing good money after bad. I bought from AO.Com and I see they still actively sell Fridgemaster appliance which is disappointing given their very poor track record. Off to check out other manufacturers and distributers

Has stopped working after three years. Expected more than this. Looking at other reviews I don't think I'll bother trying the manufacturer to sort this out. They sound shockingly bad. Will not be buying another product from this company ever. I must remember to check trustpilot before purchasing my next one.

Second ms83430ffs in 13 months. First one didn't work from day one so lost all my food. Replacement has just broken a month out of guarantee. Fridge master not interested. Do not touch this company

We’ve just realised that the brand new fridge we bought two years ago was actually ……..not new.
It was damaged on the both sides, and probably repainted to cover the damage.
We couldn’t see that as the part of the kitchen when the fridge was quite dark.
Moving fridge to the brightest side of the kitchen due to refurbishment clearly shows the marks, scratches etc.
Well now it’s too late to complain but reading all this negative reviews makes me delete permanently this rubbish company off my thoughts.

Fridgemaster MC55251M 2.5 years old and now wont get cold either fridge or freezer. Never ever had a fridge go wrong before.
Fridgemaster could not care less if its out of guarantee.

They must be sold with faulty parts but you need to prove it at a County Court any help in fixing or similar complaints would be helpfull

You've read all the other 1 star reviews, this one is no different. Just under 2 years since purchase (MC55251MD) the freezer is doing what it's meant to do, the fridge fluctuates (On temp setting 7/7) between 2.3 degrees and 12 degrees. Door is sealed properly, everything has been re-organised to ensure airflow isn't the problem. Back of the fridge/freezer is clean and dust free from the coils I can see. Just called Fridgemaster up and was told as it's out of warranty I have 2 options.
1) Pay £169 for someone to come out for a 1 time repair
2) Pay £15 per month for 12 months for some other repair/warranty rubbish.

Defo won't be buying Fridgemaster again.

Ordered a French door fridge freezer from ao, they delivered it and said it wouldn’t for without even tying it. Was forced to change brand to fridgemaster, £20 cheaper, but much less quality. Salad goes bad within a couple of days, freezer gives everything freezer burn. I have to use meat in the fridge 2 days before it’s expiration as it goes bad quick. It is an oversized drinks and ice holder as everything else goes off quick. If I hadn’t been put on the spot by ao then I would have found these reviews. Don’t waste money on this piece of junk. My experience from ao was shocking too. First they refused to try deliver the better machine (which would have fitted) then the next people took the old one out, dropped it in the lounge room, then out the front door, ruined my floor and I have to get quotes from other companies for them to take money off. Even though, on the day the delivery man phoned and sent photos. Machine is a joke, do not waste your money.
