Just purchased a fridge with icebox, couldn't understand why frozen food was defrosting inside box just had engineer out, who has said its a cool box and not a insulated box for frozen food .
So this is sold under wrong description .
And customer services is a foreign call centre , so don't bother.

Very poor customer service broken parts on arrival. Phoned several times and still not sorted. Waited 6 weeks for part.

Rude, uninterested, incompetent.
Wouldn’t buy a product. Ao who sold me the freezer were excellent and sent out an engineer to sort my wobbly freezer……as per instructions I tried and failed to fine the adjusters to level. Ao agreed with me they didn’t exist on model MCF297. This information I was unable to find out from Fridgemaster who kept on referring me to contact the seller ie ao. Why do they put such misleading instructions into the booklet. This is about the first time I have ever read instructions and I won’t again!!!!! And nor will I buyFridgemaster as I not they have 1* for customer service and they would t have got it from me if I could have given zero. Shale up Fridgemaster.

2years ago I bought a Fridgefreezer Fridgemater Model MC55264A
After a year it started to go very badly wrong making ice inside and the temperature inside is 10 degrees.
The Guarantee finished after a year so I called them and they asked me for 165 £ outcall for an engineer to come around, the fridge cost me 220£
Im VERY disappointed and upset the fridge only lasted a year end I have to buy another fridge now.
So I will not buy and I don't advice to buy this Fridge or any Fridgemaster brand Fridges!

Purchased American style Fridgemaster fridge freezer, worked perfectly until 20 months in and kept tripping electrics. Fridgemaster customer service could not have been any less helpful and I kept being cut off each time transferred to another department.. .this went on for 50 minutes!!! End result was engineer quoted £350.00 to repair compressor, which he said should never have failed at this stage and was extremely poor. DO NOT PURCHASE FRIDGEMASTER PRODUCTS, THEY FAIL IN NO TIME AND NO SUPPORT!!!

Bought an American style fridge freezer. Lasted just over two years. Started tripping electrics in the house. Phoned fridgemaster, they weren’t interested. I wish I had checked the reviews here first. Before spending £600 for it to last two years. Disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting customer service,only 18 months old and stopped working.Have waited 8 weeks for Pacifica to come and fit a new compressor to then be told that hasnt fixed it.Everytime I try and phone fridgemaster they hang up the line when put on hold.Would not recommend this company to anyone they are a disgrace.

Very poor service been waiting for over two months now from fridgemaster for s replacement front door for a fridgemaster it seam like when a custmer call fridgemaster the messages gos in one ear and out the other ear very poor service next step contact trading standards.

I got my Fridge Freezer 5months ago from Argos stop working had to throw out every thing in it. 40 min on the phone to get someone out to look at it got to wait a week.Not happy got to take time off work to wait in for someone to look at it. Shocking paid good money for a pile of crap. Argos to should take some response ability

Freezer broke down after a few years BUT I extended warranty HOWEVER they don’t answer phone or phone back as promised.
However I uised online warranty site and got through: they were very efficient after that.

Bought a freezer 5 weeks ago from AO. It is faulty but none of the numbers or emails for Fridgemaster work and trying to contact AO is proving to be very difficult. Fridgemaster must have gone out of business and Im not surprised

I wish I had read the reviews on here before purchasing one of their American style fridge freezers.

17months and it’s knackered. Had to call an engineer out to tell us it’s beyond economical repair.

All AO would offer is was less than 2/3 refund due to depreciation.

I tried Fridgemaster themselves but all emails bounced back and the phone lines rang and rang

Clearly they are not fit for purpose at all.

Bought a fridgefreezer 18 months ago, broke down due to faulty compressor. Absolutely appauling customer service and did nothing to help. Wanted £169.99 for an engineer call out charge. Would NEVER recommend this shoddy unprofessional company. Should be closed down

Awful products. We purchased 2 fridge freezers from AO. 18 months later both are sitting around 13c (fridge) which is way too warm. No warranty so 2 items going the skip after 18 months! Please read the reviews and stay away.

Bought a Fridgemaster fridge freezer, it developed an intermittent fault 2 weeks before the warranty ran out. They sent an engineer who said it was working fine and when the fault re occured they then claimed that it was a new fault. After a long email correspondence they sent out another engineer who replaced the panel, it still didn't work, so they sent another engineer who said it was the compressor, so they sent another engineer with a compressor who said it was a gas leak and not repairable. Fridgemaster then said they wouldn't replace it because it was out of warranty. After a couple of phone calls they agreed to replace it. They told my retailer they would deliver it within a week, and reassured the retailer twice that it was happening, after 10 days the retailer contacted them again and it turned out that they didn't have a replacement in stock but hadn't informed the retailer. I was left without a fridge freezer for two months and have finally received a refund from the retailer who will now have to chase Fridgemaster for the money
This company is a nightmare!

Worst company to buy fridge off won’t even last year

The light in my fridge burned out which could easily have caused a house fire. Tried to get hold of customer service and it's impossible as the messages on the phone line just take you round and round in circles. Would never buy one of their products again.

cannot get hold of anyone. tried calling and it tells you 'not available at this time' and tried email address on website bounces back. ZERO customer service.

My fridge has never worked properly, it stays at 13 degrees not cold enough! I have had three visits from an engineer, no result ! Customer service is non existent. Cannot recommend.

My fridgefreezer has not lasted two years. I have had an engineer from Pacifica come out twice (I had to pay £170 before hand) and was told if they couldn't fix it I would get a £50 refund. I have been misdirected when I have tried to make a complaint, cut off and left on hold. They have mis-advised me and now I am £440 out of pocket (no refund has been given) unable to make an official complaint, I have had to take two days off work and I still do not have a working freezer. Do not waste your money.
