I used Gareth Williams Heating Service to help replace an old boiler. Lorenzo carried out the work to a brilliant standard, arriving promptly and removing the old boiler as well as some old tiling. He then installed the new boiler, filter, as well as the necessary pipework, before helping to flush our central heating system. He did this all in quick time, cleaning up everything as well as helping to explain to me the use of the new installation. I would very much recommend Gareth and his team for their speedy turn around and brilliant service!

Gareth responded quickly to emails, Lorenzo did a fantastic job of installing a new boiler and cleaning out the radiators, and Dan adjusted the flue (on a cherry picker hired separately).

I found GWH through WHICH? Magazine, they actually interview the company and customers prior to listing. I’ve previously used British Gas for many years but the boiler servicing cost were exorbitant, the servicing seemed to have dropped off and getting an appointment was difficult. I WhatsApped Gareth, appointment made for next day..WOW! Engineer was friendly and professional, as is my wont I watched him work, he was VERY THOROUGH performing tasks I’d never seen with BG.
The process was explained to me, completed in a courteous and timely manner with no mess.

Contacted them by email as had a overflow leak. Had an answer within 15 minutes with appointment day and time. Arrived earlier than time and problem fixed within the hour. Excellent service. Very friendly staff.

Daniel arrived at agreed time and just got on with the job. He replaced radiator valves. We have used this company before, since they installed our boiler a few years ago. They have never let us down. His workmen are very competent and always pleasant.

I recently had my gas boiler serviced by Gareth Williams Heating Ltd, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Before the service, I specifically mentioned that the boiler was losing pressure and requested the engineer to check the expansion vessel. However, the "service" carried out felt more like an inspection, with no attention given to my concerns.

To make matters worse, a warning notice was slapped on the boiler for aesthetic damage to the outside flue, which had no effect to the safe functioning of the boiler (confirmed by another engineer). The engineer also claimed that the clearances around the boiler were too tight to access the expansion vessel, even though the installation had met all minimum clearances specified in the Ariston manual.

Unsatisfied with their work, I had to seek assistance from another Gas Safe engineer. This second professional efficiently repressurised the expansion vessel, replaced the flame sensor electrode, and installed a new pressure relief valve. As a result, my boiler is now functioning perfectly.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Gareth Williams Heating Ltd's services. They neglected my initial concerns, performed an incomplete service, and left me with a boiler that still had issues. I would not recommend their services to others, and I'm grateful that I had to involve another professional to resolve the problems they overlooked.
