My wife discovered Iolla in Richmond recently so next time we were visiting Richmond we called in. Merlin was
Friendly & helped my wife find a frame that suited & fitted her. We ordered varifocals & a blue light thin lens which would help to protect her eyes from computers.
1 week later we called in to have them fitted/ adjusted by Merlin. My wife is very happy with them. Thank you Merlin.

This was probably one the easiest processes for buying glasses. The service was impeccable and the staff really listened to what I was looking for. Delivery was prompt and as we all know, so very reasonably priced!

Great customer service!!
Company got broken glasses repaired and back to me quickly even though it was Easter weekend. Good customer service. My only problem with Iolla is that they give students a discount but pensioners are ignored. I believe it should be all or nothing to single out a specific group for discount seems unfair.

Don't like the quality
Don't like the quality of the frame and especially the nose pads, they are really hard and uncomfortable, also the import tax is horrendous - iolla should at least add a preview of the amount, had i known it was a third of the glasses price, i never would have ordered in the UK, not very "customer friendly'

I'm so sorry to hear you're unhappy with your glasses Nina! We've always had great feedback about the quality of our frames but we'll certainly reach out to you directly to see what we can do to help.
Unfortunately we have no control over the import tax applied by the country an order is shipped to. We'd love to be able to estimate this for our international customers but this does seem to differ quite a lot on a case by case basis

They arrived on time and are perfect.
