The site is very simple and straightforward for those who first decided to use the code certificate.
The employees work quickly and professionally.

Easy to renew

Cheapest code-signing certificate and Sectigo has very easy verification process.

Verification on renewal was as easy as submitting previous order number.

Idk why Windows smartscreen still blocks my app. Not KSoftwares' fault though. They delivered on their promise.

The only inconvenience was that we had to use Internet Explorer which is against our security protocols.
We could not use Chrome or Firefox to validate and download.

I have to say that I was happily suprised by the quality of the service both in term of email responses, fast and detailed, and the price. One certificate was not working and I have been refunded. I can recommand.

They resell from Sertigo, but the process was rather smooth and far cheaper. They have surprisingly good documentation and the whole process to getting my .pfx file took about 2-3 hours (for a registered company).

We bought a CodeSigning certificate (Sectigo) from KSoftware. Unfortunately after some time the certificate was revoked. We weren't notified about the revokation but our customers reported the validation / certificate issue to us. After several mails with Sectigo's support they said that the certificate was revoked due to a high TotalVirus rating. After some proofing we found out that several virus scanners started to report our installation package as virus. We then contacted the virus software vendors who correctly re-approved our software and acknowledged this as false positive. As every software developer knows virus scanners always produce false positives. Several retries to get help from KSoftware and Sectigo weren't successful. They just said that once a "Virus" has been found they simply revoke the certificate without any manual check or communication with the customer. Even with a proof that this was a false positive and therefore out of our control didn't help. They simply revoked the hundred of dollars woth of certificate without any option to get a new certificate or a refund for the "lost" certification time. We now bought a certificate of another vendor. So not recommended for serious software developers who need a reliable certificate and individual help in such problematic cases.

I strongly advise you not to order an EV code signature from this company. They have a very heavy due diligence and their developer signature is much more expensive than joining Microsoft or Apple store.

You better sell your application via the Microsoft store because Microsoft provides a developer signature in exchange for a small annual fee. This code signature will allow your software to run on Ms Windows

You can also join the apple developer program to get a code signature in exchange for a small annual fee.

By doing so, you don't need to buy an expensive developer signature from Ksoftware. To avoid pitfalls, check out the existing business models of applications sold on Apple/Microsoft stores.

The Microsoft and Apple store procedures is very light. You can upload an application without developer signature and Microsoft signs the application on your behalf. Same for Apple.
