Scam
Scam, will keep adding fees and overcharge you multiple times the normal price after making a hole in your door
We had an emergency call out as we only…
We had an emergency call out as we only had one available key for the car and it had failed. 24/7 Locksmith came out quickly, kept informing me of exactly what time they would be with us. They supplied 2 keys and programmed them both within less than 30 mins. They were polite, friendly, helpful and very fast! I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a quality, but fast replacement car key! INVOICE NUMBER 01093077
Also I saw a lot of fake reviews
try to connect locksmith 24/7 to another business like Emergency locksmith Ltd, Kastreall Group, best London Locks,
Trigger Logistics, Pib contractors, Nearest locksmith. Don't believe ..probably competitors !
STAY AWAY - SCAM ARTISTS
STAY AWAY! Called them for an emergency as they advertised would have somebody out to us in 10-20 minutes. When I called and explained that our cat is stuck in the living room and panicking because we can't open the door they said they could have somebody out in 30 minutes. Already going against what they advertised but fine, we were desperate to free our cat. After 40 minutes situation got worse. I called them back for an ETA on the locksmith. They said he'd gone to another job and would be AN HOUR AND A HALF?!
I understand that they probably employ 3rd party companies, but if the timing had changed so drastically they should have at least been courteous enough to call us rather than leave us worrying. The lady on the end of the phone didn't seem to care one bit about our situation. Judging by the other reviews on here, we got off lightly. Clearly they are just scam artists bored of their own con. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
SCAM - DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE
I never leave reviews but I had to with this. Yesterday morning I was locked out of my flat so I called Locksmith 24 (0203 905 1091). The locksmith came and before even checking, he was already telling me that he was going to have problems with unlocking the door. I wasn't sure how he could tell this from just looking but he seemed sure about it. After 15/20mins, he said he had no other choice but to completely take the lock off - leaving a hole in the door - which would cost £165. If I wanted it replacing; which would've been necessary for security reasons, the whole job would cost £345. The same issue had happened to my neighbour who had the same lock as me but had used another locksmith who didn't go to such lengths, so she was surprised. I told the locksmith I'd have a think about it and he told me that no other locksmith would tell me any different. Fast forward 1 hour later, another locksmith came and within LESS THAN 10 MINUTES, he had unlocked my door without causing any damage and charged a quarter of the price. I'm astounded at how two locksmiths could have entirely different outcomes. When I told the legitimate locksmith about what I'd been quoted, he actually laughed. He told me that this was a straight forward, basic job that would never require the work I'd been quoted. Companies like this make me worry about vulnerable people who might fall susceptible to these scams i.e. the elderly. During a time when people are already struggling, it's disgusting
SCAM BEWARE
SCAM BEWARE
Turned up and tried to put a clear piece of paper down the side of the door to open it? Then said needed to replace lock completely would be £260. Of course I said no that’s too much so they made me pay £54 call out fee
Currently have reported this company to…
Currently have reported this company to the Police as they are operating illegally. We have also opened a VAT fraud case against them as the invoice is bogus and they are not vat registered.
Awful company and Google should be ashamed letting them advertise
Likely scam
Reading previous reviews. Completely the same situation.
Called and they said someone will arrive in 30 mins. No prior info given. Locksmith didn’t arrive until 2 hours later and tried to charge £200 for a £80 job. I said no and they said I need to pay a £49 call out charge.
When I called the lady I originally spoke to, she hung up on me when I explained the situation.
I refused to pay as no one made me aware and the locksmith said he can’t leave in that case. Once he saw this had upset me, he eventually left after 10 minutes of waiting around.
Got away with not paying and also I am glad I didn’t let them change my locks (even though price is inflated) as I’m not sure what kind of nonsense they are up to. Could of probably passed on a replica key elsewhere or trapped me in further issues with my lock and tried charging an extra £100 or so.
I suspect dodgy business.
DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE! These people are scammers. They were called out to replace a yale lock on our front door, came out, and quoted £500 for the job, including £200 labour. My wife told them to get lost, but not before charging us an inflated callout fee. When explaining the situation to the switchboard (please NEVER call 0203 905 1091!), I had the phone put down on me. A near miss. AVOID.
I would give this company 0 star review…
I would give this company 0 star review if I could. Total and utter scammers. Overcharged, provided a fictitious VAT number. Been having issues with the new lock installed. Tried calling back to no avail. Customer service deliberately hangs up the phone in the middle of the conversation even though I was polite and courteous. Locksmith eventually called, asked me to send a video of the issue and have not gotten back to me since. Both customer service and locksmith have since blocked my number. Will be reporting and writing a length letter of complain to Trading Standards.
