Ryan Esser and Gabriella Calloway were definitely a pleasure to work with. In all honesty I did not believe it would be possible for the settlement date to be before the year was over! Ryan Esser and his team did such an awesome job of making that happen! He walked my boyfriend and I through the whole process from start to finish! He was very good at explaining everything and making sure it was understood as well! Such a lovely experience for my boyfriend and I!

Unbelievably bad experience with this company and Ray Heller my lending officer, completely devastated when I was called two weeks from our closing date and told the underwriter has misinformed us by saying our place would be approved for spot approval through FHA. Myself and my realtor have been working with Ray for almost a year now only to get this close to closing after having to constantly track him down to communicate with us in regards to the process, then two weeks from closing he drops this bomb on us. Really wish I would have listened to the realtor when the first red flags showed up and I would have gone else where. He dropped the ball time and time again throughout this process and unfortunately now I’ll have to start over again. Such a big disappointment.

I was lucky enough to get a referral to Mortgage America through a friend who had recently used them. We went through a several-month process of buying a home and the team at Mortgage America in Whitehall, PA was there every step of the way. Jason Breidinger took so much time with us to explain every part of the process, made sure we understood every piece of the mortgage from start to finish, and took time with us constantly to make sure we felt good about the decisions that we were making. Victoria Watt and Lisa Andrew were also parts of our team from Mortgage America that made the process completely seamless up until the moment that we closed. I would recommend this team to anyone that's looking for a hands-on approach to buying a home and really understanding the entire process.

I like to be honest in my reviews. Only thing I wish was that we were told our max on our amount approved for, because after finding that out we may have gotten a house or 2 that we put offers in, but our offers were lower than our approval amount cuz we didn’t know. On the other side I am glad it happened cuz we ended up in a better house in the end! So just make sure to get your full approval before you make offers so this way you know what you can truly put in on your offers.

After being kicked around by other banks and lenders, I was recommended to Taylor Fitch. In less than an hour, he was able to generate all the information needed to move forward on an investment property. He was very respectful, honest, and looked out for my best interest. I would absolutely recommend using Taylor.

Jen strickler in Lititz is amazing. She works very hard to get clients the best mortgage. Her creativity and determination are unsurpassed.

This was our first time buying a home and Jim was extremely helpful. He answered all our questions.

Jim, at mortgage America did a fantastic job explaining everything to me in a way that I could understand. When we had our closing day, folks from a previous meeting we're running late and they were able to squeeze us in a little early.

We have used Mortgage America for approximately 20 years and have always found the process of applying for a new mortgage or refinancing a mortgage to be extremely efficient and fast with them. However our most recent refinance was very frustrating and difficult due to the agent doing all communication by text message. It may seem efficient to a business to condone this activity but it does not allow the customer to ask questions and get an understanding in an efficient way for them. Conversations are necessary when dealing with such a complex and important matter. Our credit and financial security are at stake before, during and after the process; mistakes and misunderstandings are not an option. We expressed our concerns with the company and hope this does not happen to others.
