Highly not recommended

Highly not recommended! It has been a month, and I still haven’t received my order. Contacting customer service multiple times was useless. Terrible service—definitely not recommended!

Still waiting on a refund!

Placed an order on the 12th December with a delivery expected 3-5 days.
29th December I request a refund as I haven’t heard anything.
On the 7th January I was informed it had been dispatched.
On the 16th January they confirm I have requested a full refund. Told would take 24-48 hours.
It is now the 10th February with nothing!!

Long delivery time, check for damage

Despite promising a 3-5 day delivery, this took closer to 10 working days. Also there was damage to the door corner which wasn't visible at time of delivery and was too late to do anything about it when I had the tradesman in to fit it. The door comes unglazed (read carefully) and the door frame is a completely different colour wood which meant quite a few coats of stain to get to match.

Regarding the damage, we encourage all customers to inspect their items upon delivery. Any issues should be reported immediately, as this allows us to assist in resolving the matter. Unfortunately, damages noticed after installation are beyond our ability to address.

As for the glazing and the door frame color, the product description specifies that the door is supplied unglazed and that wood variations can occur naturally. We always recommend reading product details carefully to ensure expectations align with the purchase. Staining or painting to match is a common step in woodwork customization.

If you could give 4.5 stars I would my only reason making down slightly is I specified a delivery date which could not be met which caused me an issue overall great service and yea I would recommend!

Door was damaged in warehouse by…

Door was damaged in warehouse by forklift and still attempted delivery, unable to get any sense from customer service about re ordering the door and that is when contacting eventually made due to the poor call back service.

I’m not even confident the customer service agent has emailed XL joinery to re order the door as I had to explain step by step what to do.

Still no confirmation on replacement door being delivered, very poor service so far!

Avoid. Delivery dates are a scam

Ordered from them as said 3 to 5 days delivery on website and offered next day delivery at extra cost. They’re initially said that was an estimate (their website says in stock at present). They’re now not answering emails and no delivery date after over 2 weeks. Needed quickly as builder was booked to fit. Go somewhere else and avoid

Let down

Ordered a door on 19th Dec, and paid £41 for 5 day delivery. Didn't arrived till 12th Jan. Had to rearrange my builders as a result.
There was no contact from Online Door Store regarding any delays, I had to chase them.
I even asked to speak to a manager, but they failed on that too.
There were Christmas delays for orders after 20th Dec, which my order didn't fall into.
If I had known about the extensive delivery times I would have ordered from someone else.

Good door but should reply to queries about delivery

Received text when door due to be delivered. Door delivered within its timeframe. Friendly delivery driver. Door looks fine.
However it would help if they could reply to emails as to when the door was going to be dispatched. I almost cancelled the order as a result before then receiving delivery text. I had also tried to ring them but no answer or response to messages left.

The product on website wasn't clear it…

The product on website wasn't clear it didn't go with the door I ordered and when I wanted to send it back I have to pay a restocking fee and the problem I'd nit resolved as they haven't come back to tell me how much I have got to pay to get it refunded! And left with doors that the man couldn't fit still waiting

Absolutely Appalling

Absolutely appalling.
I ordered 2 doors at the beginning of December , had a carpenter booked in for the 21st December as I was told on the 9th December that they had been dispatched.
As I didn’t hear anything further, I started calling and emailing , but no response. I finally got a response from ‘Mark’ on 13th stating “ Please be informed that this should be with you by early next week.”
Monday and Tuesday came and went, so I called again on Wednesday to check up , eventually had a gentleman on the phone tell me he would call me back on the same day , this did not happen.
I called again on Thursday (and emailed) and eventually was told the doors would not be delivered until January. I told them this was not acceptable and could they come back to me with a more suitable resolution, again, I was promised a call back the same day and this, again, did not happen.
I have since ordered different doors from Doors of Distinction and had them delivered next day.
I have requested a refund from Online Door Store , and ‘unbelievably’ haven’t had a response yet!
