Never arrived. Wasted 2 days rearranging our schedules to be at home for the 4 hour window. No call, no follow-up, no apology, no compensation for the delivery charge. Don't do it, go elsewhere. The staff were useless!

Never pay when you order. Items that were supposed to be in stock were not. We weren’t told until the delivery turn up which we paid $295.00 for delivery. It took 5 months to receive the rest of our order and we had to pickup from store. No store person to help load just shown where item are I store and left to get then and had to take them through the store as they did want to open the roller door at the back of the store.

If I could rate them zero stars I would. Their customer service sucks and they don’t even try to help.
We ordered a very expensive table based on an in-store sample and what arrived was nothing like it. I contacted them asking for help and for someone to call me and apparently they will only correspond by email with what seem like prepared scripts which don’t help. They just keep telling me it’s not warrantable (when I never mentioned a warranty claim) and now I’m stuck with an awful table.

They won’t offer anything basically just a big finger and a go away.

Think twice before shopping with Oz Design Furniture. The sofa I purchased was of poor quality with the cushions collapsing within a few months. The warranty they provided was apparently worthless & their aftersales support was pitiful. In the event of receiving faulty or substandard goods from this business, be mindful you will need to be prepared to make the costly & time consuming decision of taking the matter to court to have your rights under Consumer Law recognised by Oz Design Furniture.

Purchased a print online without reading the refund policy, thinking I could always get a refund or worst case exchange it at my local store where it was delivered. Found out after trying to organise a return that my local store is a franchise and they will only “allow” me to exchange at another store 40 minutes away and it has to be within 7 days.

Bought a 2 seat and 3 seat sofas. Within 4 weeks looked like absolute crap. This junk must be made in China as its support is block foam. Now I know there are different quality foam but OZ just buy this garbage furniture as suggest it is quality. I walk passed that store at Artarmon and scoff. They sell rubbish. What you get is not what is displayed. Stay away as you will have no recourse from this mob

They have great looking furniture but five of the 10 items I ordered were damaged before delivery. After a long back-and-forth email argument with customer support they replaced two items (2 dining chairs) and gave me a $200 refund and left me to my own devices with regards to fixing the other three items -- tables with chipped and bubbly painted legs.

Bad after service care. If I known it would be frustrated I would never step into store first time. Big mistake is bought whole range furniture for lounge and dining room. Waiting few months to get delivered. 1st table wasn’t look same as other table even same timber n get answer was not faulty. 2nd issue, got premium delivered 6 dining chairs. 2 of them with legs can’t fit in so Delivery guys bring back to store. As protocol we have to email customer care to claim it with photos (ofcourse). Then got respond back ask for a video??? Where we can get a video when it clearly faulty and they already taken back to store!? Why make everything so hard when stuff got issue and have to communicate thru email instead of store direct. We bought in store not online but when anything goes wrong we have to follow stupid process. What a wasting time. I will never buy anything from this brand.

Very rude and unhelpful staff at Nunawading. Took over eight weeks to get my hallway stand. Asked for head office phone number and was told LOOK IT UP. Plenty of other furniture stores that are helpful

I wanted to cancel an order as I found the identical product except BIGGER and $200 cheaper at another company
Now I don’t expect to get all my deposit back but to lose 30% of the entire order value is a RIP OFF ! And on a mirror that was $479 I was going to lose $144
Also even before it had arrived in store they had a sale and would NOT even drop the price to their now sale price which was only a $20 reduction

Hello world.. Please stay away from these people. They replaced the table top with another cracked piece. Now offerring a voucher to pick up something else from their store.

I am doing one last attempt to get what they showed to us before next step.

I am another victim of this store! Read the reviews befoer even stepping into the store and don't be unfortunate like me. They have lucarative designs only on display. They seem to have broken garbage stored in their warehouse, which they want to dispose at various buyers place. They don't even inspect the items before sending it for delivery. They are irresponsible, staff is rude, and their policy is to dump broken stuff at customers' place and ask to keep fighting for replacement or refund. I don't have any option to provide more negative feedback than this.
The item delivered at my place is broken already and when I went to Gepps Cross store I spoke to a sales assistant called Adelle, she gave me a pice of paper and asked to contact the customer care instead of arranging for the replacement. Now I am running behind the customer care to get it replaced. See the broken item picture. I am scared to keep it at home. Hope everyone gets benefit by reading this review for 2 minutes. That can save your months of time and anxiety.

Be really careful when choosing items using the images on the Oz Design Furniture website. The bookcase I recently got was so vastly different from the online images it was ridiculous. It looked rich gold with scattered timber grain on the website. When we opened the box we got a dark grey green looking timber that was so over the top busy with grain it looked horrible. When I asked to return the item and get a refund, I was told they do not refund due to change of mind and only refund due to a fault. So now we are going to have to strip it back and paint it black and use it in the back shed for shelving. Such a extremely unpleasant experience all round! I just wish I could post the images to show how different what we got was what was advertised on the website.

NEGATIVE ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE
I am certainly not the first VERY unhappy customer who has been stuck with an incorrect item. Oz Design Customer Service will not budge to help you, they are rigid and unreasonable in my opinion As per a previous unhappy online customer "You will be stuck with what is delivered. No exchange will be offered. They will wash their hands of you saying you should have inspected the item before delivery. They do not offer exchange. It has been a very unhappy experience".

As others have said... would love a ZERO star option. They only sent half my daughters desk. We emailed multiple times with the response of basically 'don't be so impatient'... has to take photos of the box numerous times, no updates unless we initiated conversations, once it was over a month since intended delivery date we asked for a refund. They provided it but then told us we would have to pay for someone to collect the part they had delivered!! These guys are the WORST. BUYER BEWARE!

Excellent, friendly and knowledgeable service. Beautifully, well made products.

ETA was 2-3 weeks and items arrived in 2 weeks. Delivery was simple and easy

I bought my daughter a desk for Christmas the first week in NOVEMBER from OZ Design and was assured it would arrive before Christmas. I had to call and email the store as the supplier had apparently sent an email that I couldn’t find notifying me of a delay…. This was early December. Leading up to Christmas I called the store and the manager was only on holiday and only responding to emails. I asked the manager to cancel my order as it was not going to arrive for Christmas and I was going to get one from IKEA. The manager responded to my email and totally ignored what I had asked for and gave me an update on the shipping. I called head office and was assured that another manager was going to get back to me before Christmas …..STILL WAITING! Christmas has come and gone and my daughter was so unhappy at Christmas because she never got her present. I couldn’t go to IKEA as I didn’t want to land up with 2 desks. Oz Design has the WORST communication, totally lied about possible shipping delays and took my money. I will never ever shop there again! The biggest disappointment is that EVERY person I was communicating with was from AUSTRALIA! Terrible manager at Essendon as she/he (could be either by the name) threw a young boy working in the store under the bus as he had to deliver the news to me! What manager does that?

RAWSON DINING TABLE 270 270cm x 120cm x 78cm Messmate W ResinBought the above table in July 2022 to replace a table that was 40 years old. Surface of table started peeling October 2023 and was advised that as 12 month warranty has passed there is nothing Oz Design can do. I would be very wary about buying anything from Oz Design that you expect to last long term.

It took almost 2 months for 2 Sorrento ratan bar stools to arrive,
then arrived at the wrong store and there was confusion and wasted time picking up
and finally when they were unpacked at our home a 3 hrs drive from sydney, one stool was damaged on all 4 legs, and the other on 1 leg
not what is expected for furniture that's retail price was $229 each!

Update
Although Christmas and delay to my response for help was expected,
The response now is that they want to send new replacement bar stools to Tamworth which is 5 hrs drive from their Sydney warehouse, instead of sending them to me which is 3hrs from their warehouse. Then they want me to drive 3.5hrs to Tamworth to pick them up LOL
I then requested a refund of some kind and I would just keep them, sand and repaint them myself, and their response was $20 per chair LOL

Get real Oz Design, do you know what customer service actually means?
