This Company Does Not Honour It's Warranty.
After shopping around and looking at various lounges to purchase we found the Emerson Modular's as this was the 5 seater lounge for our family to come together on.
At the time of purchase we also took out an extended warranty just in case.

Around the 12 month mark we went back to the store to report that the fabric was excessively pilling and the seam was splitting. After revisiting the store we were asked to send through photos of the problem which was very evident by Beverley the sales lady at the Bundall store on the Gold Coast and we were promised something will be done. After a long wait we heard nothing, being the patient family we followed up again and was told somebody will be in contact. After another call and email we finally had the delivery guys who were helpful come out to inspect the lounge and to remove the pilling. Phots were taken of the longe and as promised a store representative will make contact after more phots were taken from the delivery guys.
Months had lapsed and still nothing. We bought a dining table and chairs, and today we took one of the the chairs back to the store to return a chair where the wood had cracked on the back support. Faulty product that was made in Vietnam.
Today we received an email from a store representative Gary, that read, We did come out and de-pill the sofa for you to which you were satisfied according to the notes on your service report. Unfortunately this ties our hands to be able to help any further as the supplier will not honour a fabric or stitching issue after 12 months.

OZ Design do not honour their extended warranty, that we paid an extra $199 for at the time of purchase.
Be warned if you do take out the extended warranty, the company will go to any length to fob you off and hope that you disappear.
Not very professional OZ Design

Absolutely atrocious company, we purchased a sofa this year, and we contacted “customer services” within the first month of having it, the foam is pretty much none existent in the cushions, we where told to go back to the store to check if we where lying, I have never known for a customer to contact a so called help centre and then to be told to take the cushion back to the shop because we can’t do anything, so we did the shop told us to contact them again, back and forth now for almost 5 months, our time and money to try and get the crap we purchased sorted but still to no avail! The people who work there are so unprofessional and so unhelpful I can’t believe how much they let Australia down! Their terms and conditions clearly state under “consumer guarantee” ‘Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure….if there is a minor failure with a product you are also entitled’ this is direct from their T&C’s attached to our invoice, we have been treated and spoken to like people who have not spent thousands in this store but ones who have stolen products, I am determined to go onto every available platform to warn potential consumers of the terrible treatment we have received from them.

I had a great time at Gepp Cross Oz Design last weekend. The staff was friendly and the furniture displayed feels really high quality. Will visit again to shop for my new apartment

Purchased coffee table online and then advised not available for 6-7 weeks. Requested refund refused and customer service person advised manager would not reconsider as their terms are strict and will take 30% of purchase price if I want a refund. Rather than forfeit over $200 I paid an extra few hundred to secure one of the only other designs I liked (of the available stock). They had to receive funds into their account before they would confirm my order and at this time there was only 2 tables left in stock) even though the operator knew I needed table delivered ASAP before Easter. I had no voluntary follow up - I had to initiate every conversation. Eventually I called to query delivery 4 days before Easter and was transferred to a delightful woman named Courtney who cared enough to try her best to ensure I received delivery on the Thursday before Good Friday as the table was only received in Melbourne from Sydney Warehouse on the same day. Courtney demonstrated a genuine kindness and I’m very thankful for her assistance. The person I was dealing with needs to learn to show a little care and kindness to whoever they are dealing with. Even when I explained my personal circumstances she and her manager were unbending and kept referring to the terms and conditions. A little kindness can go a long way

Ordered online. Item has never arrived. Multiple attempts to sort out where it is and when I can expect delivery with zero satisfactory response, everyone I speak to there just apologises and says it will come next week. So far no delivery! It’s been 12 weeks.

Joe and staff. You are all absolute stars. The absolute epitome of what good service and classy furniture is all about.
I ordered a lounge suite in July just before Victoria was shut down. My lounge ( yes I insisted on Australian made) is made in Victoria so my lounge couldnt be manufactured. Joe, the store owner took it upon himself to loan me a sofa until mine was ready. My lounge was delivered yesterday and all I can say is, I purchased the right product from the right store
