PT Academy were great throughout my time with them. Smooth onboarding process, which Mariah in particular was very helpful with (I asked a million questions and she had an answer for all of them). I done a level 2 and 3 combined course, and my mentor David was very helpful with getting me through that- fast response time to messages and great advice and feedback. I highly recommend getting a mentor to help you through the process. All in all a great and smooth experience.

Easy to sign up and get started.

The gym facilities we had access to were excellent the course was run with two days in the gym and two days online. Sofia mentored us in the gym and was incredibly supportive and always open to questions we had, demonstrating exercises, working with us 1-1 or in groups. She created a safe supportive and encouraging environment, it was very real, she wasn't acting as a superior but allowed us to grow into PT's with her guidance. Our online sessions with David were informative and were particularly focused to give us tools to set us up for success as a business. If you're going to do the course, you have to take self ownership to ask the questions you don't know, use the documents supplied to study, do extra research. Any bad reviews I think come from assuming its going to all be done for you or given to you on a plate. Credible material is supplied, if you do the course you also have to take action to get the most out of it, theres only so much the teachers can do and they clearly did more than was expected of them with extra learning materials on Padlet. When booking the course the admin team were really friendly and helpful, the only point id make was giving wrong dates of when we were in the gym and when we were online and saying the course lasted three months so I had booked an extra month of childcare. Other than that I would recommend the L3 PT course I did, especially if you're working with Sofia & David. My brother-in-law had previously trained as a PT so having spoken to him he said that we got a lot more support and material than he had experienced studying on a different course in Southampton.

A great experience and very informative. My teachers Sofia and David did an excellent job on teaching me and helping me feel more confident in the gym. The structure of the course is perfect and you get all the help and assistance you need if you are feeling stuck or need some guidance. I am very happy I signed up for PT Academy

Thank you PT Academy for offering this well structured course. It was mix of online and gym classes. Mentor and assessor David Parker and Sofia (Energym West Ealing) were very helpful ,approachable, professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is thinking about doing it

Tee Isaac was extremely helpful in helping me choose the course that was best fitting for me. Very professional and friendly which made the conversation flow a lot easier, and was extremely well informed about the company and courses they provide.

I paid for my level 2 &3 personal training upfront in full back in 2020 during lockdown, I completed my level 2 & started my level 3 but then went back to work so had to take a step back from my learning, I called PT academy last year to get back to it & complete my course to then be told I would have to pay an additional £250/£300 more to finish it!! I think this is really unreasonable & because I'd paid upfront I didn't seem to get much encouragement or support yet if I'd of been paying monthly they would have been promoting me to pay & complete it. I would really like this resolved & be able to complete the course I paid for in full which cost me over £2000 without me having to pay any extra.

Super quick response time to paying the deposit onto the course, took approximately two minutes to receive a call and begin the onboarding process! Atiya was really hospitable and took her time to explain everything I needed to know on the phone to best guide my learning onto the correct course!
